• does log4net AdoNetAppender support sql server 2008?

  my config file below: very strange, i have spent a day to find out where i am wrong, but still not working, it still not log anything in the database,but i can output them using RollingFileAppender. Also, the store procedure WriteLog is working well.(I have tested it using sql server studio). I have tried to change the connectionType but not working. Unfortunately I dont have sql server 2000/2005 to test, my log4net version should be the latest one: log4net 1.2.10. • Sliding a div across to left and the next div appears

  I have this form Im creating and when you click on the "Next" button I want to slide the next form() across to the left this is my function jQuery('input[name^=Next]').click(function () { current.animate({ marginLeft: -current.width() }, 750); current = current.next(); }); That function isn't working the way I want to. it slides the text in the container across not the whole container it could be a css problem for all I know. • Animation issue caused by C# parameters passed by reference rather than value, but where?

  I'm having trouble with sprite animation in XNA that appears to be caused by a struct passed as a reference value. But I'm not using the ref keyword anywhere. I am, admittedly, a C# noob, so there may be some shallow bonehead error in here, but I can't see it. I'm creating 10 ants or bees and animating them as they move across the screen. I have an array of animation structs, and each time I create an ant or bee, I send it the animation array value it requires (just [0] or [1] at this time). Deep inside the animation struct is a timer that is used to change frames. The ant/bee class stores the animation struct as a private variable. What I'm seeing is that each ant or bee uses the same animation struct, the one I thought I was passing in and copying by value. So during Update(), when I advance the animation timer for each ant/bee, the next ant/bee has its animation timer advanced by that small amount. If there's 1 ant on screen, it animates properly. 2 ants, it runs twice as fast, and so on. Obviously, not what I want. Here's an abridged version of the code.   I am trying to redraw the part of the DrawingArea that is visible in the Viewport in the expose-event handler. However, it seems that I am doing something wrong with the coordinates that are passed to the event handler because there is garbage at the edge of the Viewport when scrolling. Can anyone tell what I am doing wrong? • Ado.Net Entity produces "namespace cannot be found"

  I've seen several possible solutions to this, but none have worked for me. After adding a ADO.NET Entity Data Model to my .Net Forms C# web project, I am unable to use it. Perhaps I made a mistake adding it? The name of the file added is QcFormData.edmx. In my code, perhaps I'm instantiating it incorrectly? I tried adding the line: QcFormDataContainer db = new QcFormDataContainer(); It appears in Intellisense, but when compiling I get the error : Error 13 The type or namespace name 'QcFormDataContainer' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) I've followed the suggestions that I found online that did not help: 1) made sure there is "using System.Data.Entity" 2) made sure the dll exists. 3) made sure the reference exists. 4) one post said use using System.Web.Data.Entity; but I do not see that available. What am I missing? • 405: Method Not Allowed WCF

  I can perfectly call a WCF web method from localhost. I published to this server: http://luiscarlosch.com/WebFormClean.aspx (only firefox or chrome) with the Visual Studio publishing tool and it works fine. The problem is when a try to access it from another computer. I get the 405: Method Not Allowed. But It doest make sense because It works fine when i access it remotely from the publisher computer as I said. Any idea?   Hi I have a Spring web application, I have built it up to the controller stage and I could inject my Daos, into my Services fine. Now when I want to inject my Service into my controller i get an error for dependency with the Dao and further down the sessionFactory. I don't want to inject these again cause this will ultimately lead me to eventually create a data source but I have my Daos for data access and they already know about sessionFactory. • $_GET loading content before head tag instead of in specified div.

  NOT EDITING BELOW BUT THANKS TO SOME REALLY NICE PEOPLE I CAN'T POST AN IMAGE ANYMORE BECAUSE I HAD a 15 Rep but NOW ONLY A 5 becuase my question wasn't what they wanted help with they gave me a neg rep. The problem is that the content loads it displays UNDER the div i placed #CONTENT# inside so the styles are being ignored and it's posting #CONTENT# outside the divs at positions 0,0 any suggestions? Found out whats happening by using "View Source" seems that it's putting all of the #CONTENT#, content that's being loaded in front of the <head> tag. • Good coding style to do case-select in XSLT

  I want to have a page display A,B,C,D depending on the return value from XML value (1,2,3,4). My approaches are by javascript or XSLT:choose. I want to know which way is better, and why? Can I do this case-select in .cs code (good or bad)? Should I javascript code in XSLT? Can the community please advise? Thanks. Below are the code.
