  Dear friends I try to use system.form_status state,but when i check it after I change some texts or my list item,there is no changes in system.form_status ,I just receive "query" message but I must receive "changed" message. So how I can solve my problem?has it any precondition?

  instead of SELECT * FROM mytable, i would like to select all fields EXCEPT one (namely, the 'serialized' field, which stores a serialized object). this is because i think that losing that field will speed up my query by a lot. however, i have so many fields and am quite the lazy guy. is there a way to say... `SELECT ALL_ROWS_EXCEPT(serialized) FROM mytable` ? thanks!

  I'm using the date plugin for Template::Toolkit (Template::Plugin::Date), it works well with datetimes (yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss) pulled straight out of MySQL, but it will not work with dates (yyyy-mm-dd). What's the simplest way to get date.format to accept dates (without modifying the sql query)? Thanks.

After I read the documentation for the XMLHttpRequest, it says if the status = 0 and readyState = 4, then check the associated error flag. How can I see whats in this error flag to determine the cause of the status not being set to 200? Thanks.

  IDictionary<TKey, TValue> inherits from IEnumerable<KeyValuePair<TKey, TValue>>, but IDictionary for some reason doesn't inherit from IEnumerable<DictionaryEntry>. I wonder why? I hate to write this ugly .OfType<DictionaryEntry>() every time when I need to make a query against an IDictionary.

  I have a large table (300 million lines) that I would like to dump to a csv - I need to do some processing that cannot be done with SQL. Right now I am using Squirrel as a client, and it does not apparently deal very well with large datasets - at least as far as I can tell from my own (limited) experience. If I run the query on the actual host, will it use less memory? Thanks for any help.

  Hi, I have 2 tables, Table1: id,int1,int2,int3,int4,int5 Table2: integers (autoincrement),blobdata The query I want to use is given the id I want to get the blobdata from table2 associated with the 5 integers in table1. I've only ever used one table in mysql so have no idea how to do this properly. Is it possible? EDIT: id is username, integers in table2 is just integers. but have not built the tables yet, so can change if need to.

I created a database link on SMP1 to connect to SMP4 as: SQL create public database link LINK_SMP4 2 connect to CURRENT_USER 3 using 'SP3DSMP4'; Database link created.   I am currently achieving the desired outcome with two PHP statements: $thisBlarg = $xmlResource->xpath('//blarg[@ID='.$someBlargID.']'); echo $thisBlarg[0]->name; But, not wanting to settle for second best, I'd really prefer this to be one statement, but PHP doesn't like this: echo $xmlResource->xpath('//blarg[@ID='.$someBlargID.']')[0]->name; And for good reason. But I can't find a way to force an xpath query to return the result directly. Any suggestions?

  I am conducting stress tests on my database, which is hosted on SQL Server 2008 64-bit running on a 64-bit machine with 10 GB of RAM. I have 400 threads. Each thread queries the database every second, but the query time does not take time, as the SQL profiler says that, but after 18 hours SQL Server uses up 7.2 GB of RAM and 7.2 GB of virtual memory. Is this normal behavior? How can I adjust SQL Server to clean up unused memory?
