    How can I copy the value of a field, but only its numbers? I am creating a computed column for fulltext search, and I want to copy the values from my Phone Number fields (which are varchar) into it, but not with their formatting - numbers only. What is the command that would do this in my computed column formula? Thank you!

    svn diff -rXX:HEAD Will give me a format like this, if there has been a merge between those revisions: Merged /<branch>:rXXX,XXX-XXX or Merged /<branch>:rXXX I'm not very familiar with regex and am trying to put together a pattern which will match all the numbers (merged revision numbers) AFTER matching the "Merged /branch:r" part. I've got a solution, but it's not very efficient. (It takes several minutes to run.) I'm looking for a more efficient solution. Any suggestions?

    Ok, I'm using mathematical equations to output numbers, though, I need this to be compatible for all languages. Currently, all language strings are within a php array called $txt, and each key of the array gets called for that language. I'm outputting the following: Column 1, Column 2, Column 3, and so on, as well as Row 1, Row 2, Row 3, and so on. The calculations are done via php and javascript, so I'm wondering on the best approach for how to support all languages for the numbers only. I don't do the translations, someone else does, but I need to be able to point it to, either the php variable $txt of where the language is defined, or, since the calculations are done via javascript also, I need to somehow store this in there.     I just bought a new SSD, and installed a fresh copy of Windows on it. I didn't see any noticeable difference in boot times, app start-up times, so I decided to benchmark it. Asus P7P55D-E Intel i5-760 Samsung 830 256GB SATA III Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit The Windows experience index gave the drive a 7.3 rating, but real-world performance is not particularly impressive. Any ideas why the numbers are so low? UPDATE: It turns out that SATA III support is turned off by default on the P7P55D motherboard. After enabling it in BIOS (Tools - Level Up), the scores went up: Read Write Seq 325 183 4K 16 49 IOPS 32K 28K It's an improvement, but still far below what they should be for this drive.

    In Microsoft Word, I am laying out a process in steps. Each page pretty much is a new step that begins with a header like: 3. Drive the body to a secure location I would like the numbers to automatically increment, particularly if later on I decide to add a new step somewhere in the middle. Does anyone know how I can achieve that in the simplest way? I already have a working Table of Contents and I'd prefer not doing something that would mess with that, if possible to avoid.

  • Alternate port numbers for Supermicro IPMI View software

    I'm using the IPMI View software to manage a SuperMicro server but would like to use alternate port #s within the program itself. In other words - If I use the web browser, it defaults to port 80 - While I can, say change that port to 12345 (or whatever) and type the IP address into the browser (like http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:12345 ) that works just fine. However, in IPMIView, it will assume port 80 and load the browser with the IP (which, naturally, won't work, so I have to manually type in the alternate port #). I can deal with that. The clincher is if I use a port other than 623 for management - (say 55623 for example), the IPMIView will not find it. Same goes for the iKVM port #. Is there some place to specify this (to tell IPMIView to use the alternate port numbers), like a settings file? I'm running this from a Windows client.

  • Pull row of data from one place in spreadsheet to another

    I have a list of names and their assorted properties. I am trying to find a way to quickly move an entire row's worth of data into a different sheet so I can manipulate it. Currently I can accomplish this by copy and pasting the entire row, but this is not elegant nor dynamic (the number in blue does not update with this method): My ideal solution: A name is typed into the "Name" column. The spreadsheet program pulls the associated row from the "main" sheet into the new sheet. I am currently using Numbers.app, but am curious if this is possible in Excel, OpenOffice Calc, Google Docs, or any other spreadsheet program. Thank you.

  • Excel 2010 started changing my numbers

    If I type in a 16 digit number (format: number, no decimals) it changes the number on me. Example: 1234567812345678 changes the view to 1234567812345670. If I type it in as a general format it changes the numbers above so it displays 1.23457E+15 but if you click on the cell, the display shows the last digit as a 0 instead of an 8 once again. I opened the file on a different computer and same issue now with it. I have changed the auto correcting and auto formating all to no avail. Help!

Here is a illustration of what happens: Notes: I am typing in Arabic and i want the numbers Arabic. When I am typing in English it is fined and everything is better than expected: The . remains . I tried to reset Word settings based on the all the ways that MSDN suggests. Now all the styles and options are set to default and all add-ons are removed. I also tried to reset my Regional and Languages settings to a Standard one. I have also changed all the , separators to . How can i stop the Word from changing my dots to commas? (It only happens when dot is between two digits)

  • Why does Excel 2010 automatically reformat numbers?

    Excel 2010 is automatically reformatting numbers/cells where a specific number format has already been applied. Whenever I access or modify the cell contents, Excel reformats by changing the number of decimal places to 2. I've already gone into file \ options \ advanced \ and made sure that the option to automatically add decimal places is unselected, but Excel still automatically makes the change. Very time consuming to continue reselecting number formats each time the cell contents are changed/accessed. Any ideas? Thx!

  • drawing thick, textured lines in OpenGL

    I need to draw thick textured line segments in OpenGL. Actually I need curves made out of short line segments. Here is what I have: In the upper left is an example of two connected line segments. The second image shows once the lines are given width, they overlap. If I apply a texture that uses translucency, the overlap looks terrible. The third image shows that both lines are shortened by half the amount necessary to make the thick line corners just touch. This way I can fill the space between the lines with a triangle. On the right you can see this works well (ignore the horizontal line when the crappy texture repeats). But it doesn't always work well. In the bottom left the curve is made of many short line segments. Note the incorrect texture application. My program is written in Java, making use of the LWJGL OpenGL binding (and minor use of Slick, a 2D helper framework). I've made a zip file that contains an executable JAR so you can easily see the problem. It also has the Java code (there is only one source file) and an Eclipse project, so you can instantly run it through Eclipse and hack at it if you like. Here she is: http://n4te.com/temp/lines.zip To run, execute "java -jar lines.jar". You may need "-Djava.library.path=." before -jar if you are not on Windows. Press space to toggle texture/wireframe. The wireframe only shows the line segments, the triangle between them isn't drawn. I don't need to draw arbitrary lines, just bezier curves similar to what you see in the program. Sorry the code is a bit messy, once I have a solution I will refactor. I have investigated using GLUtessellator. It greatly simplified construction of the line, but I found that applying the texture was perfect. It worked most of the time (top image below), but long vertical curves would have severe texture distortion (bottom image below): This turned out to be much easier to code, but in the end worse than my approach. I believe what I'm trying to do is called "line tessellation" or "stroke tessellation". I assume this has been solved already? Is there standard code I can leverage? Otherwise, how can I fix my code so that the texture does not freak out on short, vertical curves?
