    Hi, I have an android application that shows a grid view that shows: 1 2 3 4 GridView gridview=(GridView)findViewById(R.id.GridView_test); DataBaseHelper dbhelper=new DataBaseHelper(this); ArrayList<String> test=new ArrayList<String>(5); backlinksadapter.add("1"); backlinksadapter.add("2"); backlinksadapter.add("3"); backlinksadapter.add("4"); ArrayAdapter mAdapter=new ArrayAdapter<String>(this, android.R.layout.simple_list_item_1, test); gridview.setAdapter(mAdapter); By the moment is working, but i would like to show foreach line of the grid, 2 columns with the values of a 2 dimensional array (something like the GridView in ASP.Net - as datasource -).   • A simple factory_girl question

    I have two factories (post_factory.rb, comment_factory.rb) in separate files. I'd like to create a bit complex factory, which will create a post with associated comments for me. I created a third file, called complex_factory.rb, and wrote the following code: Factory.define :post_with_comments, :parent => :post do |post| post.after_create { |p| Factory(:user_last_state, :post => p) } end But rake spec raises an error, stating that the file is unaware of post and comment factories. At the very next moment, I naïvely wrote requires at the top: require "post_factory.rb" require "comment_factory.rb" But that didn't gave any proper result. Maybe this requires actually looking the wrong direction? Or they pretty much don't matter (as registering factories for visibility might be more complex that I assume). Am I missing something? Any ideas?

  • Question on dynamic URL parsing

    I see many, many sites that have URLs for individual pages such as http://www.mysite.com/articles/this-is-article-1 http://www.mysite.com/galleries/575 And they don't redirect, they don't run slowly... I know how to parse URL's, that's easy enough. But in my mind, that seems slow and cumbersome on a dynamic site. As well, if the pages are all staticly built (hende the custom URL) then that means all components of the page are static as well... (which would be bad) I'd love to hear some ideas about how this is typically accomplished.

I need to know Emp 1 is missing 03/01/2010 05/01/2010 Emp 2 is missing 01/01/2010 03/01/2010 06/01/2010 The range to check will start with todays date and go back 6 months. In this example, lets say today's date is 06/12/2010 so the range is going to be 01/01/2010 thru 06/01/2010. The day is always going to be the 1st in the data. Stage { title: "ListView test" scene: Scene { width: 400 height: 400 content: [ VBox { content: [ ListView { height: 200 width: 200 items: ["item1", "item2"] } ] } ] } } I was expecting ListView showing up in 200 x 200 dimension but no matter how I tried to fix this, the width and height of ListView seemed fixed. But following code works for showing ListView as I intended.   • Another IKImageView Question

    I'm trying to use the select and copy feature of the IKImageView. If all you want to do is have an app with an image, select a portion and copy it to the clipboard, it's easy. You set the copy menu pick to the first responder's copy:(id) method and magically everything works. However, if you want something more complicated, like you want to copy as part of some other operation, I can't seem to find the method to do this. IKImageView doesn't seem to have a copy method, it doesn't seem to have a method that will even tell you the selected rectangle! I have gone through Hillegass' book, so I understand how the clipboard works, just not how to get the portion of the image out of the view... Now, I'm starting to think that I made a mistake in basing my project on IKImageView, but it's what Preview is built on (or so I've read), so I figured it had to be stable... and anyway, now it's too late, I'm too deep in this to start over... So, other than not using IKImageView, any suggestions on how to copy the select region to the clipboard manually?

  • jquery png fix on hidden div and jquerybrowser question

    Hello, I have some code that if Javascript is available, it will remove a GIF image and replace it with a PNG image. The PNG is display:none and the GIF is visible. Since IE6- browsers can't load PNG, I have loaded the jquery PNG fix. But it only seems to work if the image is already visible.     Hi, The assignment at my first year uni computing course says my program should read a barcode number, and then display the same 13 digit barcode number separated by hyphens. For example, 9300675016902 should look like 930-067501-690-1. The restrictions say I can't use the following: No arrays No strings No functions. Any directions on this? (So far I have done this: part1 = barcode/10000000000; which gives me the first three digits, and this: part4 = barcode%10; which gives me the last digit. Thanks in advance!
