    - by user1139048
I have the following questions concerning the differences between the four options: What is the main difference between the four options? Which of the above support int64_t or long long without suffix LL. I want a data type of the range 2^63 - 1 If your answer to my second question is not C(gcc 4.3.2) , whether the code I write in C(gcc 4.3.2) for C language will be valid in rest of the three options or do I have to modify something, then what will be those modifications.

  • What RSS/Atom standard to use for feed generation?

    - by fsb
Reading online about this topic is confusing. Is there a way to cut around the history, politics and technicalities to answer the question: Which standard should I refer to when I write code to generate feeds? I want to use UTF-8 encoding, which may affect the choice. Otherwise I'm most interested in compatibility with a decent range of readers.

  • writing a shell script if statement to check for directory

    - by user1553248
I need to write a script that will recreate my opt folder if it gets deleted when I remove a package from it. Here's a link to my previous post: dpkg remove to stop processes Now, the issue I'm running into could be better described here: http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2006/03/msg00242.html I was thinking of just adding a postrem script which checks if an opt directory exists, and if not, creates one. My experience with shell scripts is pretty limited though..

  • Alert team members of SVN commit?

    - by John
I'm hosting my own svn repository on ubuntu 8.04. Is there a way for svn to send emails to team members whenever a commit has happened? If coding is required, the only language I'm able to use on a linux server is PHP. So I could write a php script to be triggered by svn. Can anyone tell me how to hook up my php script to an svn commit? Or is there another way to do this?

  • How to distinguish between the first and rest for duplicate records using sql ?

    - by Biswanath
Hi, These are the input table and required output table. Input table ID Name ------------- 1 aaa 1 ababaa 2 bbbbbb 2 bcbcbccbc 2 bcdbcdbbbbb 3 ccccc Output table ID Name Ord ----------------------------- 1 aaa first 1 ababaa rest 2 bbbbbb first 2 bcbcbccbc rest 2 bcdbcdbbbbb rest 3 ccccc first First and Rest is based on the occurrence of an ID field. Is there a way to write a SQL query to achieve this ? P.S. - This question is somewhat similar to what I am looking for.
