  • Can you create folders to organize web sites in IIS7?

    I have several ASP.NET sites in IIS7 and would like to be able to group them into folders (or other mechanism, if available). Ideally, I would use a customer name or account number and put the sites under there. Is there a way to customize the organization of sites in IIS7, or is there just the one 'flat' view? I'm open to tricks and hacks.

    hi, This is my bash command grep -rl "System.out.print" Project1/ | xargs -I{} grep -H -n "System.out.print" {} | cut -f-2 -d: | sed "s/\(.*\):\(.*\)/filename is \1 and line number is \2/ What I'm trying to do here is,I'm trying to iterate through sub folders and check what files contains "System.out.print" (using grep) using 2nd grep trying to get file names and line numbers using sed command I display those to console. from here I want to remove "System.out.print" with "XXXXX" how I can pipe sed command to this? pls help me thanxx

    I need to show a large number of EditText controls on a screen, each of which will only allow entering 0-2 digits. The default EditText size is too wide for me to show enough EditText controls on a screen, but I have been unable to figure out how to make them narrower. I have tried the following attributes in XML: android:maxLength="2" android:layout_width="20dip" android:maxWidth="20px" android:ems="2" android:maxEms="2". So the question is: how can EditText be made smaller than default?

I tried searching for an equivalent to svn propset command in mercurial, but couldn't find it. A sample command in subversion would be: svn propset svn:keywords "Date Author Rev" sample.tex Are there any equivalent commands in mercurial I could use to replace keywords inside a text file under revision control with corresponding details?

  • Parsing timestamp with retarded Python

    I want to parse a timestamp from a log file that has been written via datetime.datetime.now().strftime('%Y%m%d%H%M%S') and then compute the number of seconds that have passed since this timestamp. I know I could do it with datetime.datetime.strptime to get back a datetime object and then compute a timedelta. Problem is, the strptime function has been introduced with Python 2.5 and I'm using Python2.4.4 (an upgrade is not possible in my context). Any easy way to do this?

  • ASP.NET MVC - Where do you put your .js files if you dont want to store them in /Scripts?

    I have a number of .js files that I would like to be stored in the same directories as their views (they're specific to a view - its simply to keep the javascript separate from the view's HTML) However, adding them to the /Views/ControllerName/ directory wont work because when a request is made to the webserver for the .js file: <script type="text/javascript" src="/Views/ControllerName/myscript.js"></script> It would essentially be directed at the 'Views' controller which obviously doesnt exist.     Hi, looking at a database dump file, and I see many records in various tables with their version number set in values other than 0 (even 94 in one case). I understand it has to do with hibernate locking strategy, but my concern is that today is Sunday, and the site has almost no visitors so is: is this normal ? Or is there a known hibernate bug or even some programming malpractice producing this ? Thanks in advance.

    I have a url /embed?t=X and I want to redirect it to /page/embed/X where X is any number of alpha numeric characters. I know must redirect rules go the other way but for the purpose of the applciation I need to reverse it. Any ideas? I have tried things like: RedirectRule ^embed\?t\=([a-zA-Z0-9]+)$ /page/embed/$1 but with no luck.

    Ok, I'm using mathematical equations to output numbers, though, I need this to be compatible for all languages. Currently, all language strings are within a php array called $txt, and each key of the array gets called for that language. I'm outputting the following: Column 1, Column 2, Column 3, and so on, as well as Row 1, Row 2, Row 3, and so on. The calculations are done via php and javascript, so I'm wondering on the best approach for how to support all languages for the numbers only. I don't do the translations, someone else does, but I need to be able to point it to, either the php variable $txt of where the language is defined, or, since the calculations are done via javascript also, I need to somehow store this in there.     I'm a bit confused as to what a viewmodel's role is beyond databinding. I have a menu built in silverlight. The menu has x number of menu items which is determined at runtime. One of the features I would like to add to this is that each menuitem has a different text colour when hovered over. Is it the role of the view to have a colour selector method or should the view handle this in it's code behind?

    I have a site that sells cars. On the frontend, I want to only show cars that are published, and on the backend I want to show all cars. Whether a car is published or not depends on a number of factors, so I wanted to create a view to simplify this. My question is, can I reduce duplication by dynamically telling NHibernate to sometimes use the "PublishedCar" view and something use the "AllCar" view when querying/fetching Car entities?

  • Javascript auto calculating with (+) and (-)

    I need some help finding the error in my javascript calculation. I need to calculate the sum of my input boxes automatically and have my user be able to edit the calculation using + or - buttons. The code I have already does the calculation automatically if you manually enter the numbers, but pressing the + or - does not change the calculation.   • Fibonnaci Sequence fast implementation

    I have written this function in Scala to calculate the fibonacci number given a particular index n: def fibonacci(n: Long): Long = { if(n <= 1) n else fibonacci(n - 1) + fibonacci(n - 2) } However it is not efficient when calculating with large indexes. Therefore I need to implement a function using a tuple and this function should return two consecutive values as the result. Can somebody give me any hints about this? I have never used Scala before. Thanks!
