• SEO - List of links

- by Rafael Carvalho
I'd like to know if listing a set of partner sites/blogs is useful for the pagerank growth. Does Google see it as an incorrect act? I read somewhere that if people exchange links, google seeks it and marks as a bad technique. If it doesn't matter, is the content of the linked site relevant?

• 2 column div layout: right column fixed width, left fluid, height relative to eachother

- by Henrik
I want a layout with two columns, two divs, where the left one has fluid width and the right one has fixed width. So far so good - see jsfiddle below - however, the height of the right column must be in relation to the height of the left column. So that if I have some content in the fluid column and would resize the browser window, thereby increasing or decreasing the height of the left column, the right one should follow and getting the same height. What I got so far: http://jsfiddle.net/henrikandersson/vnUdc/2/ Edit: Resolved, see comment below

• Encrypt file using M2Crypto

- by Bear
It is known that I can read the whole file content in memory and encrypt it using the following code. contents = fin.read() cipher = M2Crypto.EVP.Cipher(alg="aes_128_cbc", key = aes_key, iv = aes_iv, op = 1) encryptedContents = cipher.update(contents) encryptedContents += cipher.final() But what if the file size is large, is there a way for me to pass the input stream to M2Crypto instead of reading the whole file first?

• Max number of nested \input in LaTeX/Beamer

- by P. Henaff
When using the beamer documentclass, it looks like the third level of nested input is ignored: \documentclass{beamer} \input{body} body.tex: \begin{document} \input{file1} \input{file2} \end{document} file2.tex: \input{file21} The content of file21.tex is ignored with documentclass beamer, but correctly inserted if I use a documentclass article, for example. Has anyone seen something like this?

• [ZF] set/add view from controller action

- by user359650
Hi all, I'm trying to set a view script to be executed in addition to the currently requested action view script. I want to do this from the controller action itself in a way that this new view script output will be available from the layout $this-layout()-content helper. I found the setView() method but don't know how to use it from the controller. Thanks a lot.

• How to refresh the properties view in Eclipse RCP?

- by geejay
I am using the properties view in RCP, i.e org.eclipse.ui.views.properties.PropertySheet. I want to be able to refresh the content of these properties programmatically. It seems RCP is geared towards the use case where this changes only when a selection changes. Is there any way I can fire a dummy event to get this to refresh (without having ugly UI artifacts such as visibly switching between parts) ?

Hello: Can I do the following with SharePoint 2007: 1) Create lists (records) and document libraries with content that is in force for a certain amount of days and after that, they automatically expire? How? 2) When searching for words in a SharePoint site where there are lists and documents, SharePoint displays results similar to Google, would it be possible that Sharepoint tell me what documents are no longer current? How? Thank you very much.

• How to autostart this slide

- by lchales
Hello there: first of all i have no idea on coding or anything related, simple question: is there any simple way to tell this code to autostart the slide? at the current moment the images change on click. currently the index page only have one image, what i want is to add a few but without the need to click to see the next one here is the code from my index: // $(function() { var $tf_bg = $('#tf_bg'), $tf_bg_images = $tf_bg.find('img'), $tf_bg_img = $tf_bg_images.eq(0), $tf_thumbs = $('#tf_thumbs'), total = $tf_bg_images.length, current = 0, $tf_content_wrapper = $('#tf_content_wrapper'), $tf_next = $('#tf_next'), $tf_prev = $('#tf_prev'), $tf_loading = $('#tf_loading'); • Easy way to open the Mail application with an pre-defined message subject and body?

- by mystify
In my app the user generates text content. I want to enable the user to launch the Mail application, which then should contain a specified subject and message body. Like: You write a poem in my app and then want to send it to your new girlfriend. So you tap a mail icon and the Mail app opens, containing already an subject and message body with your poem inside. Someone said there is a kind of URL mechanism for that?
