Hello....
I have an SSRS report that contains several subreports. The user has the ability to select/deselect which subreports they want to produce using several Boolean parameters. If a subreport is deselected then it is not rendered by setting the Visibility property. However, the DataSet associated with the de-selected subreport still executes causing the execution time to take longer than expected.
Is there any way to tell a dataset on a subreport or Tablix not to execute based on a Parameter selection?
Thanks
do you got the solution for your problem ?
im working on the exact same thing and cant get it to work...
if u could post the solution, it would be much appreciated :o

When I use the annotation:
@XmlRootElement(name="RootElement", namespace="namespace")
class RootElement {
to create xml file from java, it creates the root element as:
<ns2:RootElement xmlns:ns2="namespace">
but I wanted to create without the "ns2", like:
<RootElement xmlns="namespace">
Any idea how to fix it?
Reletad link (example I used to create the xml):

Hi
What im trying to do is that when the esc key is pressed on the text
input field (id = txtSearch), some code will run.
this is my code:
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#txtSearch').bind('keyup', function(e) {
var characterCode; // literal character code will be stored in this variable
if (e && e.which) { //if which property of event object is supported (NN4)
e = e;
characterCode = e.which;
}
else {
characterCode = e.keyCode;
}
if (characterCode == 27) //if esc key
{
//do stuff
}
});
}
It doesnt work for me. however, if i would change that line:
$('#txtSearch').bind('keyup', function(e) {
with:
$(document).bind('keyup', function(e) {
everything works. but i dont want to bind the keyup with esc to the
whole document...
any suggestions on how i can bind the the keyup only with the specific
text search element? (or its containing div or something)
Thanks!
Hi there,
I'm doing a little app that basically has 2 text boxes. You'll enter Fahrenheit into TextBoxA and Celsius into TextBoxB.
As the text changes in TextBoxA I want the equivalent Celsius value to be displayed in TextBoxB and vice versa.
I can come up with a solution pretty easy for this but i'm trying to be a little clever.
Is there a way to do it all in Xaml except for a Convert class that does the maths? So basically I want the TextChanged event of one textBox to pass in it's value into a Converter class that is evaluated and sent to the other TextBox and visa versa.
Anyone know how I can achieve this ... and if it's possible at all?
Hello, i am trying to bind an event to a dynamically created div.
function GameField(playerNumber) {
this.fields = new Array();
this.player = playerNumber;
this.isPlayerActive = false;
this.currentRound = 0;
}
GameField.prototype.InitField = function(fieldNumber) {
var newField = document.createElement("div");
if (fieldNumber == 0 || fieldNumber == 6 || fieldNumber == 8 || fieldNumber == 17)
newField.className = 'gameCellSmall borderFull gameText gameTextAlign';
else
newField.className = 'gameCellSmall borderWithoutTop gameText gameTextAlign';
newField.onclick = function() { this.DivClick('a'); }
this.fields[fieldNumber] = newField;
return newField;
}
GameField.prototype.DivClick = function(fieldNumber) {
alert('Nummer: ' + fieldNumber);
}
Everything works perfectly, but when you click on one of the created divs, i end up with the following error message: Error: Object doesn't support this property or method.
If i replace the onclick function with this, then it works:
newField.onclick = function() { alert('Nummer: ' + fieldNumber); }
How can i get the onclick event to fire my DivClick function instead?
Here's what I'm doing:
I have (2) DataGridView controls
DGV #1 is bound to the DataSet, DGV #2 is bound to a DataView of the SAME DataSet
Now, what I'm needing to accomplish here is this: When a user checks a boolean column on the original DGV, the second DGV should now display the newly checked row also.
The context is that the first DGV is a master list, and the second one is a "favorite" view of the first.
When I check the rows, the favorite column does NOT update. Do I need to use a DataAdapter to actually update the database, or can I operate directly on the DataSet (DataTable) -- or even with the Rows in the original DataGridView?
hello i am trying to bind multiple applications running on different pc's across a single lan network is it a good idea when all applications are receiving on same port and sending at same port for example.
app1 (receiving at 10000 port , sending at some ip2 and 10000 port)
app2 (receiving at 10000 port , sending at some ip1 and 10000 port)
any other good idea for performing this task is also accepted .
hi,
this is my class
public class Users
{
public string Name { get; set; }
public int Age { get; set; }
public string Gender { get; set; }
public string Country { get; set; }
}
i am defing an list variable
List<Users> myList = new List<Users>
i have four functions each one returing a string array
{of data content like, names, age, gender, country}
**functions names**
FunNames();
FunAge();
Fungender();
Funcountry();
now i need to bind these these return values of all these functions into list one by one
like.
myList =FunNames();
myList =FunAge();
myList Fungender();
.....
hope my Question is clear.
any help would be great thank you.
In my application I have this code in my view model:
hiddenTextContainer.PreHideVerticalOffset = VerticalOffset;
hiddenTextContainer.HiddenText = Text.Remove(SelectionStart, SelectionLength);
hiddenTextContainer.HasHiddenText = true;
hiddenTextContainer.NonHiddenTextStart = SelectionStart;
Text = Text.Substring(SelectionStart, SelectionLength);
SelectionStart = Text.Length;
hiddenTextContainer.ImmediatePostHideVerticalOffset = VerticalOffset;
This code is used to hide selected text in a textbox. Text is a string property data bound to the text property of a textbox and VerticalOffset is a double property data bound to the VerticalOffset property of that same textbox.
I need to save the VerticalOffset before and after the hiding of selected text takes place, but with my code below both hiddenTextContainer.PreHideVerticalOffset and hiddenTextContainer.ImmediatePostHideVerticalOffset are always set to the same value no matter what.
I have figured out that this is because the text of the textbox has not been updated by the time the code reaches:
hiddenTextContainer.ImmediatePostHideVerticalOffset = VerticalOffset;
Is there any way I can fix this?
Any reason why the following code won't work?
$dbconnection = db::getInstance(); //this is a singleton db class
$stmt = $dbconnection->prepare("SELECT `id` from `table` where `username`=?");
$stmt->bind_param("s", $username);
$stmt->execute();
$stmt->bind_result($uid);
$stmt->fetch();
echo $uid;
The same connection method is used elsewhere, and it works there. The only difference on that other page where it works, is that there are multiple rows fetched, not just one.
Guys I have a couple of questions:
Is there a preformance difference in Javascript between a switch statement and an if...else if....else?
If so why?
Is the behavior of switch and if...else if...else different across browsers? (FireFox, IE, Chrome, Opera, Safari)
Hello, I would like to create a new dataset where the following for conditions are all met.
rowSums(is.na(UNCA[,11:23]))<12
rowSums(is.na(UNCA[,27:39]))<12
rowSums(is.na(UNCA[,40:52]))<12
rowSums(is.na(UNCA[,53:65]))<12
Thanks!
I'm totally blocked on this.
See this pastie for sample code: http://pastie.org/990040
The first test will fail.
The user model validates an associated address model, but is only supposed to do it if a flag is true. In practice it does it all the time.
What is going on?
I can't seem to find this in the mysql manual:
How do you enter multiple conditions for the same field in a select statement?
e.g.:
SELECT * FROM table WHERE ID = '1, 2, 3, 4'
Is there a way to do this without using this:
SELECT * FROM table WHERE ID = '1' OR ID = '2' OR ID = '3' OR ID = '4'
Guys I have a couple of questions:
Is there a preformance difference in Javascript between a switch statement and an if...else if....else?
If so why?
Is the behavior of switch and if...else if...else different across browsers? (FireFox, IE, Chrome, Opera, Safari)
The reason for asking this question is it seems that I get better preformance on a switch statement with approx 100 cases in Firefox. But in IE it get better preformance with 100 if...else if...else.
I am trying to define an itemscontrol and data bind it to a List and the code is as below.
XAML
Item Class
public class Item
{
public string val;
}
XAML.cs
public MainPage()
{
InitializeComponent();
List<Item> items = new List<Item>();
Item item1 = new Item();
item1.val = "iasl;fdj1";
items.Add(item1);
Item item2 = new Item();
item2.val = "iasfdkasdkljf2";
items.Add(item2);
ic.ItemsSource = items;
}
The items are displayed when I run this. Am I missing something?
Hi everyone,
I have a piece of javascript which is supposed to latch onto a form which gets introduced via XHR. It looks something like:
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#myform').live('submit', function() {
$(foo).appendTo('#myform');
$(this).ajaxSubmit(function() {
alert("HelloWorld");
});
return false;
});
});
This happens to work in FF3, but not in IE7. Any idea what the problem is?
I want to perform some action when a link is clicked, I am using the following code to achieve this however it rarely works. If I click the link it usually refreshes the page, and 1/10 times it'll actually pop up "Hi". What is wrong?
$(document).ready(function()
{
$('#slconfiglink').click(function()
{
alert("hi");
return false;
});
});
HTML:
<ul>
<li><a href="" id="slconfiglink">Config 1</a></li>
</ul>
Hi There,
we have an Array which is converted via a Binded Converter:
else if (TTools.IsOfBaseClass(value.GetType(), typeof(System.Activities.Presentation.Model.ModelItemCollection)))
{
OurBaseClass[] test = (value as ModelItemCollection).GetCurrentValue() as OurBaseClass[];
List<OurBaseClass> listOfArray = new List<OurBaseClass>();
foreach (OurBaseClass item in test)
{
listOfArray.Add(item);
}
return listOfArray;
}
the convertion works well but it is not shown in our dynamically gui
gui code with bindings:
<sap:WorkflowItemsPresenter xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:sap="clr-namespace:System.Activities.Presentation;assembly=System.Activities.Presentation" Grid.Column="0" Name="MyArray" Items="{Binding Path=ModelItem.MyArray}" MinWidth="150" Margin="0">
<sap:WorkflowItemsPresenter.SpacerTemplate >
<DataTemplate>
<TextBlock Foreground="DarkGray" Margin="30">..</TextBlock>
</DataTemplate>
</sap:WorkflowItemsPresenter.SpacerTemplate>
<sap:WorkflowItemsPresenter.ItemsPanel>
<ItemsPanelTemplate>
<StackPanel Orientation="Vertical" HorizontalAlignment="Center" Margin="0"/>
</ItemsPanelTemplate>
</sap:WorkflowItemsPresenter.ItemsPanel>
</sap:WorkflowItemsPresenter>
Why is the gui not shown as a List??? it works well without converter.
Thanks
I'm having some trouble getting this to work in a WPF app I'm working on. Basically, what I'm after is something like the Task pane in an MMC:
The app has three columns in the main part of the display. I need a column on the right side which is resizable. I presume this means using a Grid with a GridSplitter but anything that works will do.
I want to be able to save the width of the right-side column when the app is closed and load it when the app is opened but this should be an initial size: the user should be able to resize it.
When I resize the window, I want the left- and right-side columns to stay the same size and the middle column to resize with the window width.
The left- and right-side columns need to have a minimum width. When I resize the right-side column I want the centre column to get smaller but not the left-side column.
I also want to be able to toggle the visibility of the right-side column with a toggle button which is outside the column and when it returns to visibility I want it to be the same width it was before.
I'm trying to do as much as possible in XAML and with binding.
And can I have it topped with cream, ice cream and chocolate chips, please? :-)
