  • nginx - redirect a certain path to another domain

    - by Eli
Hey there. I am very unfamiliar with nginx, as a forewarning, and also can't find any actual references on the regex system they use. So right now it's a black box to me. All I want to do is redirect a user trying to go to www.mydomain.com/mydirectory/X to www.myotherdomain.com/X . Seems like I should be using the rewrite command but the syntax of the regex is eluding me. Thanks in advance.

  • How to launch a browser in view source mode?

    - by JorgeLarre
I want to open a file in a web browser (anyone will do) and I want to see it in the view source mode instead of in the standard browser window. This can be done in two steps, by opening the file and then go to the view source window (different shortcuts in each browser), but I want to directly go to the view source window. I have not found any such command line argument for Firefox nor Chrome. Is this possible just with the base browser functionality?

  • Remove extra junk from C preprocessor?

    - by Brendan Long
I'm trying to use the C preprocessor on non-C code, and it works fine except for creating lines like this at the top: # 1 "test.java" # 1 "<built-in>" # 1 "<command-line>" # 1 "test.java" The problem is that these lines aren't valid in Java. Is there any way to get the preprocessor to not write this stuff? I'd prefer not to have to run this through something else to just remove the first 4 lines every time.

  • mysqli_stmt_bind_param SQL Injection

    - by profitphp
Is there still an injection risk when using prepared statements and mysqli_stmt_bind_param? For example: $malicious_input = 'bob"; drop table users'; mysqli_stmt_bind_param($stmt, 's', $malicious_input); Behind the scenes does mysqli_stmt_bind_param pass this query string to mysql: SET @username = "bob"; drop table users"; Or does it perform the SET command through the API, or use some type of protection to keep this from happening?

Hi, I'm trying to run a cucumber feature multiple times (i.e 500 times). Is there a way of doing this than me having to type in the same command everytime? I'm guessing this can be done using Rake? I'm not an expert in using rake or cucumber. Will appreciate your help. Thanks

  • What is the difference between deploying to com+/MTS using regsvr32?

    - by MatthewMartin
We have a legacy VB6 component that was com+/MTS and is used by asp classic. Staff is having trouble with deployment. Would there be any harm in just using regsvr32 to register the DLL, which will be used by IIS? Alternatively---I won't touch COM+ with a 10 foot pole--so is there a suitable one line command to register a VB6 component with COM+/MTS using a 11 foot pole? My google fu is failing me.

  • How to mkdir only if a dir does not already exist?

    - by Spike Williams
I am writing a script to run under the korn shell on AIX. I'd like to use the mkdir command to create a directory. But the directory may already exist, in which case I don't want to do anything. So I want to either test to see that the directory doesn't exist, or suppress the "File exists" error that mkdir throws when it tries to create an existing directory. Any thoughts on how best to do this?

  • vb6 ADODB TSQL procedure call quit working after database migration

    - by phill
This code was once working on sql server 2005. Now isolated in a visual basic 6 sub routine using ADODB to connect to a sql server 2008 database it throws an error saying: "Login failed for user 'admin' " I have since verified the connection string does work if i replace the body of this sub with the alternative code below this sub. When I run the small program with the button, it stops where it is marked below the asterisk line. Any ideas? thanks in advance. Private Sub Command1_Click() Dim cSQLConn As New ADODB.Connection Dim cmdGetInvoices As New ADODB.Command Dim myRs As New ADODB.Recordset Dim dStartDateIn As Date dStartDateIn = "2010/05/01" cSQLConn.ConnectionString = "Provider=sqloledb;" _ & "SERVER=NET-BRAIN;" _ & "Database=DB_app;" _ & "User Id=admin;" _ & "Password=mudslinger;" cSQLConn.Open cmdGetInvoices.CommandTimeout = 0 sProc = "GetUnconvertedInvoices" 'On Error GoTo GetUnconvertedInvoices_Err With cmdGetInvoices .CommandType = adCmdStoredProc .CommandText = "_sp_cwm5_GetUnCvtdInv" .Name = "_sp_cwm5_GetUnCvtdInv" Set oParm1 = .CreateParameter("@StartDate", adDate, adParamInput) .Parameters.Append oParm1 oParm1.Value = dStartDateIn .ActiveConnection = cSQLConn End With With myRs .CursorLocation = adUseClient .LockType = adLockBatchOptimistic .CursorType = adOpenKeyset '.CursorType = adOpenStatic .CacheSize = 5000 '***************************Debug stops here .Open cmdGetInvoices End With If myRs.State = adStateOpen Then Set GetUnconvertedInvoices = myRs Else Set GetUnconvertedInvoices = Nothing End If End Sub Here is the code which validates the connection string is working.
