This is what tried, which is a useful pseudo code: for i in {1..100} ; do awk -F "," " { printf \"%3d, %12.3f, %12.3f\\n\", \$1, \$($i+1), \$($i+3) } " All_Runs.csv > Run-$i.csv which, obviously doesn't work (but it seemed reasonable to hope).     i am extracting file names of html files using line: filename = File.basename(input_filename, ".*") which currently prints full file name excluding .html extension All files are stored in the form of http^x.x.edu^1^2 all file names begin with http^ and contain edu^ what i want is to extract 2 (which changes) but it is always the second element after .edu I have attempted destructive gsub! but i m weak with regular expressions.

    I think the concept of Python's doctests is brilliant, and as a C++ programmer at a real-time shop, I'm quite jealous. We basically have no unit test capability, which is a severe hindrance. I've seen C++Unit, etc, but is there anything that can extract test cases out of comments like Python's doctests rather than putting them in the code directly?

    We had a a clob column in DB. Now when we extract this clob and try to display it (plain text not html), it prints junk some characters on html screen. The character when directly streamed to a file looks like ” (not the usual double quote on regular keyboard) One more observation: System.out.println("”".getBytes()[0]); prints -108. Why a character byte should be in negative range ? Is there any way to display it correctly on a html screen ?

    i have given the user the option to upload his own aspx and code behind i will extract the path by the help of upload control and display the page onto the users home page, am thinking of using iframe but the problem of iframe is its size if fixed, are there any other ways of displaying page within a page without the use of iframes? and is there any efficient way of achieving the above goal? if there is no alternative please give a link explaining how privide resizing in iframes at the users end.
