  I am having a problem with assigning a colour to the different meshes that I have on one object. The technique that I have used is the first approach on this site. Is it possible to export a simulation (animation) from Blender to Unity? So what I would like to do is the following. I have about 107 meshes that are different frames from my shape key animation of my blender model. What I would like to have is that the first mesh will be bright green and up to the 40th mesh the colour turns to be white /greyish... the best would be if I could assign every mesh by hand a colour, however they are all default materials. And if I assign the object a colour, the whole "animation" is going to be in that colour

• reasonably priced registrar for obscure tlds like .tt

  I'm looking to buy a .tt domain name, however the only registrars I can find want from between $500 to $3000 for one domain. Considering I can buy a .com for around $10 a year, I consider that not very reasonable! It's going to be for a personal blog site (non monetised), hence why I'm not willing to spend over $500 a year on it. Does anyone know of any registrars that sell obscure tld's such as .tt for reasonable price? As for my definition of "reasonable", I understand it's not a .com and I'm going to have to pay more, but $3000 is just silly! In my opinion I'd say anything under $100 is reasonable.

  Possible Duplicate: Why don't TITLE tags get indexed in google? Hello there, I have a h1 element on my page which is working great. I have also been using the title attribute on this element which I don't think has been causing much harm at all. My h1 title is "The Great Ocean Road" and the title attribute on that is "Great Ocean Road" - so it's a variation of the h1 text. These are both keywords for the site so i'm hoping it's a good thing for seo. Is that a bad idea do you think? I'm not sure what Search Engines think about using a title attribute or even if they would 'mark me down' for doing it in such a way. Do you think if the h1 text is "The Great Ocean Road", the title attribute should be "The Great Ocean Road" aswell? Thank you in advance

• Dell b1160w not working in 14.04

  I originally installed the dell b1160w printer on ubuntu 12.04. It worked as expected. A few months ago I upgraded to ubuntu 14.04 and now I can't get the printer to work. I looked at the driver information on the dell site. They have not updated their driver since 2013 so 12.04 is the latest version with a supported driver. Is there a work around for this problem, like a generic driver that I can use or a way to install whatever printer interface ubuntu 12.04 was using? I have a windows virtual box. I can get it to work through there, but it's inconvenient to pull up my virtual box and transfer the files over to it anytime I want to print.

Considering that /movie is not a real directory. So that page doesn't exist. Something similar to wordpress /category/ base that is used purely for content separation on the site. What do you think? For user it will be beneficial, if domain doesn't signal what content is about my extra dir will tell what it is about. Correct? But from SEO perspective?

• Is there a (free) reliable place to get statistics from sites, more reliable than Alexa, Quantcast, Compete?

  I mean, seems there's no way. I am just asking in case someone knows of a recent new site being more accurate. I am aware of Alexa's, Compete and Quantcast inaccuracies and/or limited system/range of sites to get their stats. I also know about websitegrader perhaps being a little more accurate (although not sure if that's the data I am after). And read Seomoz tools are reliable. I am yet though looking for a free solution, a 'reliable' Alexa. And not a place depending on a toolbar installation, an easy to trick place, or one with stats way too off, or of a very limited range of sites. I am almost sure there's nothing new, but I wanted to be sure.

• How will the search rank get impacted if i move my mobile website to a single page application?

  I have two different versions of my site. A desktop version and a mobile optimised version. That is for the same url the server renders different html for different user agents. I had been using vary header for this scheme as recommended by Google. However, now i want to move the mobile website to a single page application for several reasons. I want to know if google stops seeing anything on my mobile web version but the desktop version continues to work as it is, then how would the search rank be impacted given that mobile web gets more traffic than the desktop version. • Good analytics tools that can track visitor actions from a particular source?

  Are there good tools that can track what actions a certain subset of visitors (i.e. from a particular source) do once they're on your site? As far as I know (which could be wrong), Google Analytics can't do this beyond telling you how long they stayed, bounce rate, and average number of pages. I'm looking for something that can tell me which links they clicked on, and if possible break it down per-visitor. Free solutions would be great, but I'm anticipating that this would require a paid solution.

  Background I have been developing a web application. I have been using Joomla platform and CMS as the base from my application. My application relies heavily on the joomla platform, but uses very few features of the CMS (I have to login users etc so I use the _users component of the CMS). Question What is the best way to start removing some of the excess CMS that I don't need? For example when I being building my production site, I will want to avoid creating a load of joomla component database tables etc. I have read that an application can be build from the ground up using just the joomla platform, but i still want to include the _users component and would also like to avoid having to start coding all the session handling aspects. Any advice?

• Do navigation menu links negatively impact SEO for pages' content?

  I've always had my doubts about navigation menus effect on SEO. You know, the vertical menus on the top that show in every page in the site linking to main sections and subsections. My issue is that if not done dynamically (i.e. after page is loaded or something), from a search engine's point of view it probably looks like a whole bunch of links in the beginning of the page, and links that probably have nothing to do with the page being analyzed, so it's probably not only confusing it, but also giving link 'juice' to the wrong pages or reducing its value. When I've asked SEO people about this, I usually get a "Google is smart, they'll recognize it as a menu and ignore it" response, but I'm not convinced (and the 'Google is smart' argument sounds almost like religion discussion to me). So does it affect SEO negatively or not? Are there any official posts on this topic?

How can I make the best out of those differences?   In an effort to debug a Silverlight component on a page in SharePoint I opened the Developer Tools in Internet Explorer.  After choosing the Find > Select Element by Click option my page refreshed for some reason and a small bar appeared at the top of the page reading: You may be trying to access this site from a secured browser on the server. Please enable scripts and reload this page. After a quick look around the internet, some seemed to be suggesting that you have to disable the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration (IE ESC) in Server Manager.  Since this is one of the very first things I do when creating a VM, I figured the solution did not apply to me.  However, I decided to go ahead and enable IE ESC and then disable it again to see if that would fix the problem, and it did.  So if you see that error message in IE, the bar and you've already got IE ESC disabled, you can just enable it and disable it to get rid of the bar.

  We have a website that has two URLs (one for the US side and another for the Canadian side which is then broken into Canadian English and Canadian French). For the purposes of my question, I will write as: www.us_url.com (US) www.canada_url.ca/ca_en/ (Canadian English) www.canada_url.ca/ca_fr/ (Canadian French) To make sure people are on the correct site, what do I do if they go to the US URL with Canadian English content (e.g. www.us_url.com/ca_en/canada.asp) but I want to make sure the URL is the Canadian one (e.g. www.canada_url.ca/ca_en/canada.asp) so it shows up properly in Google Analytics. We're using IIS 7 and classic ASP.

  We have an Apache server running a PHP website. The site is an e-commerce shop. We currently use Barclays as the payment provider but are seeing a lot of customers drop out at the point at which we transfer them to the payment gateway (hosted with Barclays) I can see specific instances in the shop where orders have been created but not paid/failed but I need to ascertain if the user has definitely left our server (or just failed to reach Barclays). Is there anything in any of the server/access logs that states when a user transferred to a different domain?

• My Herokuapp is inaccessible from custom domain name

  I have a Heroku app that is located at myapp.herokuapp.com. I have mapped a domain name to this app, using the A properties. I followed the instructions on Heroku's website to the letter, and it worked for a few days. Now when I try to access the site from the custom domain, it's timing out! On Chrome, I am getting "Oops! Google Chrome could not find that page!" message. I tried pinging the name as well, but I got this error: ping: cannot resolve yourhostname.org: Unknown host The app itself is working and I don't see any error messages from Heroku. Or from new Relic. What's going on here? Also tried running host and this was the error message: ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

Our website servers are located in one place. We can't distribute our site to different locations.   14.04 / Firefox 29.0 I've been using Bleachbit to clear usage/file history, and for the most part it works great. However, it doesn't seem to clear the website hostnames out of the URL, at all. These addresses are not bookmarked. Also, the total URL isn't preserved, just the hostname. Visit site http://www.bluesnews.com/some_random_URL_string Exit Firefox Run Bleachbit, with ALL Firefox options selected Restart Firefox Check history: completely empty, other than bookmarked sites. www.bluesnews is NOT bookmarked Type "blue" which is Firefox automatically completes as "http://www.bluesnews.com/" Alternate Step #3: Use Firefox's built-in "Clear History" and select ALL entries with a time frame of "Everything". Same result as above. My inquiry in BB forums hasn't been responded to. I found Dan's proposed solution, however changing autocomplete in about:config only turns off the function, it doesn't actually stop storing URLs.

  I rebuilt a web app to replace a version that we have been using for the last 3-4 years. We have a few thousand clients and a few hundred active users per day. The functionality is basically the same. The new version is a little bit faster with a few enhancement features and there are a lot of behind the scenes changes that the clients will never see. The UI is quite different but ultimately much easier to use and navigate. How should I go about having our clients stop using the old system and start using the new one? I am currently putting together a video that will play on the web site as well as within the app. The video will go through the pages and focus on some key changes. I was also thinking about an intro page that will display once the user logs in and explains some of the features.
