  • Dreaded iframe horizontal scroll bar can't be removed in IE?

    I have an iframe. The content is wider than the width I am setting so the iframe gets a horizontal scroll bar. I can't increase the width of the iframe so I want to just remove the scroll bar. I tried setting the scroll property to "no" but that kills both scroll bars and I want the vertical one. I tried setting overflow-x to "hidden" and that killed the horizontal scroll bar in ff but not in IE. sad for me.

  • From the parent, force an iFrame to redirect the entire page

    My site has an iFrame that displays content from and second site. I don't control the second site. When a user clicks on a link in the iFrame, I want it to redirect the entire page, not just the iFrame. I've seen solutions for doing this from the iFrame, but I need to do it solely from the parent. I'd prefer to do it in the code behind, but a javascript solution would be acceptable.

  • Using git-svn (or similar) just to help out with svn merge?

    Some complex subversion merges are coming up in my project: big branches that have been apart for a long time. Svn gives too many conflicts. Would it be any good to use git-svn just for the benefit of making the merge more manageable?     hello, i am trying to get the headers of an ajax request i made through jquery $.get(url, function(response, textStatus, headers ) { console.log("Response: %o", response); console.log("TextStatus: %o", textStatus); console.log("Request: %o", headers); } ); this does not seem to be working however: the response and textstatus are printing, but the "headers" object seems to be undefined i simply want to check if it is what i expect (content type='excel', etc) or if the response type is html, i can assume the page i was calling is an error
