    Hi, When using visual studio to develop c++ applications, I used to write _asm int 3; and then build the application. When the application is executed, if the code path that has "_asm int 3" is encountered Visual Studio Debugger used to get lauched and I could debug the problems. Is there any similar approach when developing using Xcode on Mac OS X? Thanks a lot. Mark

    I try to start an Google appengine application in my eclipse. I have the Google plugin and I set the sdk for my application. But, when I start this one, I get the following error: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.datanucleus.store.appengine.jpa.DatastorePersistenceProvider However, this class is present in the sdk which is present in my classpath. Why Appengine doesn't find this class ? Thanks.

  • Flash Builder 4 debug issue

    I am trying to debug an application in Flash Builder 4. The application I am working makes use of php session variables to ensure that the user is logged in. When not debugging, after logging in I can simply path to the container html file and everything works fine. However, when I am debugging a new IE window is launched but for some odd reason the previously logged in php session does not exist for this window. Is this an issue with IE?

    Is it possible to launch any arbitrary iPhone application from within another app? For example in my application if I want the user to push a button and launch right into the Phone app (close the current app, open the Phone app), would this be possible? I know this can be done for making phone calls with the tel URL link, but I want to instead just have the Phone app launch without dialing any specific number.

    When we compile a dll using __stdcall inside visual studio 2008 the compiled function names inside the dll are. FunctionName Though when we compile the same dll using GCC using wx-dev-cpp GCC appends the number of paramers the function has, so the name of the function using Dependency walker looks like. FunctionName@numberOfParameters or == FunctionName@8 How do you tell GCC compiler to remove @nn from exported symbols in the dll?

    I am creating a web application that is accessing a SQLite database in the server. I also have "clients" that updates this same database. As we know SQLite locks the entire database during INSERTs which are done by the clients and the web application is also trying to make some UPDATEs at the same time. So my problem now is about concurrency in database access. I would like to use an embeddable database like SQLite. Any suggestions.

    I'm planning on doing a application for Android 2.1 that changes song every minute (through what I hope exists in Android, "next track") for the application using the audio device atm.     Hello everyone, I am using Linq-to-Sql for a C# application and am currently working on some stored procedures. The application is for a newspaper, and a sample stored procedure is the following: ALTER PROCEDURE dbo.Articles_GetArticlesByPublication @publicationDate date AS SELECT * FROM Articles WHERE Articles.PublicationDate=@publicationDate Anyway, this query gets all of the articles where the publication date is equal to the argument (publicationDate). How can I alter this so that the argument can handle multiple publication dates? Also, I'd prefer not to use "BETWEEN," rather, I want to pick and choose dates.

    On XP (user account) when running this shortcut: <Shortcut Id="UninstallStartMenuShortcut" Advertise="no" Name="AppName" Description="Uninstalls AppName" Target="[SystemFolder]msiexec.exe" Arguments="/x [ProductCode]"/> I'm getting an error "You must be an Administrator to remove this application. To remove this application, you can log on as an administrator, or contact your technical support group for assistance." Why this happens instead of asking for elevation with admin password? How can I avoid this stupid error?

    Hi I'm working on some code where I have a Time object with a member time. Time.time gives me the time since my application started in seconds (float value). Now I want to create a pulsating value between 0 and 1 and then from 1 to 0 again, which continues doing thins untill the application stops. I was thinking to use sin() but don't know what to pass to it as paramters to create this pulsing value. How would I create this pulsating value? Kind regards, Pollux

    How do I format an NSURL (what path, or path generator function) so that I can display a downloaded local file (NOT part of the application NSBundle) for use offline? The idea is to snag an HTML file, clean it up and stash it in the iFoo application specific storage area, then later use UIWebView to display it.
