• how to display specific dates in KCalander

  hi ,All i want to use KCalander (which is Open Source on www.code.google.com) in my project but i want to allow select only one date from awailable dates (means every monday of limited time period/dates awailable for reservations) what am i want to display only that dates/day in KCalander. is that possible with the use of UIDatePicker controller. which one is easy sollution ? waiting for your reply...   sorry for the vague subject, the issue is such: I create an event with invitees in google calendar; on the receiving side an email arrives as multipart, which, in its text/html block, has the following text (quoted-prinatble encoded) Wed Jun 9 1pm =96 2p= m I googled for the =96 and can't find anything.   I vaguely remember reading a blog entry (written by a well-known blogger I think) about how to model price changes over time, and that you could model most changes by saving two dates only (two columns in a db). The blog talked about prices on a website changing over time and how you could figure out the right price to charge knowing only when the purchase had been made. Very vague, I know, but my google-fu is failing me, everyone at IRC are busy talking about other stuff and I don't know what to do! :)

• dotted stroke in <canvas>

  I guess it is not possible to set stroke property such as CSS which is quite easy. With CSS we have dashed, dotted, solid but on canvas when drawing lines/or strokes this doesn't seem to be an option. How have you implemented this?   I have a textarea with a default value of http://. Now when an user pastes in an url (if they don't know what they are doing, like most people) it comes out like this http://http://www.google.com. I've seen a site that as soon as you have http://http:// it removes one via Ajax. I am not familiar with Ajax, so can anyone help me? I don't want to clear the field on focus only.

• Projects with browsable source using dependency injection w/ guice?

  I often read about dependency injection and I did research on google and I understand in theory what it can do and how it works, but I'd like to see an actual code base using it (Java/guice would be preferred). Can anyone point me to an open source project, where I can see, how it's really used? I think browsing the code and seeing the whole setup shows me more than the ususal snippets in the introduction articles you find around the web. Thanks in advance!

The Problem is that i want this Server to move itself to the background (deamonize itself). In order to do so I use a small python-script that pulls the html-code of the page, but after that I have to execute the JavaScript in a DOM-context which seems pretty hard. To make it even harder I want to use it in a server environment that has no X11-server. Note: I already read about http://code.google.com/p/pywebkitgtk/ but it seems to need a X-server.
