  • How can I set up JQuery autocomplete like Stackoverflow's tags input field?

    I'm using PHP and I've never really done anything with Javascript or JQuery or AJAX. I'm just wondering if there are any available solutions to accomplish the same effect of auto-completion that SO uses for entering tags. There are plugins which can handle one word but I haven't seen any that handles multiple words. Also, I hear JQuery is hosted on google code. Is it a good or bad idea to link directly from that?

I first had a look at this project: http://code.google.com/p/facebook-java-api/ , but as I need to create Facebook-Events and invite people this does not help. So I guess I need to use the Graph API, but Igot no clue on how to perform those HTTP POST requests needed - especially how to append the nedded attributes.

For example: container.Register( Component.For<CalculatorSoap>() .Named("calculatorSoap") .LifeStyle.Transient .ActAs(new DefaultClientModel { Endpoint = WcfEndpoint.FromConfiguration("CalculatorSoap").LogMessages() } ) ); Is there any way to do the same via Windsor XML configuration file.     Hi. I'm building a location aware mobile application which uses GPS, but i'd like to be able to add cell location too. The best thing I have found so far is to use Google Gears, which has a location API available, but my application is not web based. Are there any good public cell id databases that can be accessed from any kind of application? I have found a few interesting projects out there like OpenCellID, but the database is very poor right now.

    Where as a developer do like to you keep your code snippets, links, checklists, final solutions to problems etc? I've fooled with Google Notebook, MS Onenote, TreePad, textfiles, and Evernote a bit (currently leaning toward Evernote). All have pros and cons but none seem to be really suited to developers. Is anyone super-happy with a collection / note system that's not just generic GTD, but with developer-centric utility?

    Im trying to host a WCF service on IIS.I created a virtual directory,set application pool to v.4.0 framework,set the pysichal path to the application path. And when try to run the service i get follow error: "Could not load file or assembly 'ingdnp.dll' or one of its dependencies." Does anyone what is that DLL?I couldnt find anything on google. UPDATE: I need to register DLL in GAC (Global Assembly Cache). THK All

    Does anyone know of a .NET API (source-code is preferrable of course) that I can access all the common chat clients thru it (GT, Yahoo, MSN, AIM, FB, ICQ, SKYPE and more)?     Is it possible to get all keys in a column family using SimpleCassie? I looked at SimpleCassie's google code, but do not figure out. Another issue is that I used following code to access column value. $price = $cassie-keyspace('ToyStore')-cf('Toys')-key('Transformer')-column('Price')-get(); echo $price; It always complains "object of cassandra columnorsupercolumn cannot be converted to string". Is it possible to print out the column value?

  • simple yet secure encrypt / decrypt asp to asp.net

    First post here. I have a asp/vb6 web app that logs in a user I want to encrypt the users identity field and pass(querystring) it to a asp.net app and then decrypt it to do a db lookup. I've google'd it of course and found rot13, not secure enough. I've also found some hits on MD5 / RC4 but did not find any good examples of encrypt / decrypt. Thanks, Michael
