• Encoding in SQL to CSV

  When do I execute query COPY TO ... CSV, I create CSV file. BUt when open it column with names in excel that should be with national characters are not as it should be. So my question is, If it is possible within a sql query to change this encoding to utf8? Or something else? Because I want that new created CSV file to be as final product for user on web. • Can I pass a pointer to a superclass, but create a copy of the child?

  I have a function that takes a pointer to a superclass and performs operations on it. However, at some point, the function must make a deep copy of the inputted object. Is there any way I can perform such a copy? It occurred to me to make the function a template function and simply have the user pass the type, but I hold out hope that C++ offers a more elegant solution.

  If I use M-x shell and run the interactive Python interpreter, Emacs on Windows does not return any IO. When I discovered M-x python-shell, I regained hope. However, instead of running the interactive Python shell, I want to run a specific Python script that features an interactive CLI. (See Python's cmd module for details). Is there a way of launching a Python script in Emacs that is interactive? (stdout, stdin, stderr)

  I've had a problem with my styles not being applied after AJAX calls. My styles were not in the < HEAD section of the page, and they were only recognized by IE on initial Page_Load.   Say I have an environment variable myvar myvar=\tapple\n when the following command will print out this variable perl -e 'print "$ENV{myvar}"' I will literally have \tapple\n, however, I want those control chars to be evaluated and not escaped. How would I achieve it? In the real world $ENV residing in substitution, but I hope the answer will cover that.
