Hi,
Does anyone know good and simple to use in production code R-tree (actually, any implementations - R*, R+ or PR-tree would be great)?
It doesn't matter if it is a template or library implementation, but some implementations that google found look very disappointing...
Thanks in advance.
I am currently building an application that allows users to track where their phone has been on a Google Map. At the moment, when the onLocationChanged() method is called, the application stores the current GPS longitude and latitude in a database and calls the animateTo() method to the current position.
Using SDK 1.5, how would I go about connecting these points with a coloured line drawn on the MapView using an Overlay?.
I've just signed up for the Google group entitled Test Driven Development but it's only had 3 posts in 2010 and seems to be littered with spam.
Does anyone know of a good TDD focussed place to ask those general perhaps 'subjective' questions which might not be welcomed on SO?
Is it possible to apply a custom user CSS over a specific site? Say I created a custom CSS file that I wanted to use while browsing the google.com domain, how would I apply it / add it?
I would like to know for Firefox and IE if its possible.
I just downloaded the Haskell and J modes off of SourceForge, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to make them interface with emacs 23. Google searches yield detailed instructions for emacs 22, but it looks like changes have been made that make it hard to figure out where I'm supposed to stick the binaries. The internal documentation seems to assume more experience with emacs internals than I currently have, and the problem has resisted solution for several days. Does anyone know how to get these modes up and running?
hello.
This is not hundred percent programming related question, but I was not able to find answer on the net.
Is there some kind of detector to record frequency/intensity of light radiation source? something like spectroscopy detector, but instead of actual machine, just the module which can be integrated in project. I have tried searching on Google but I do not even know what such device is called
if you know the more appropriate place to ask, can you let me know please.
Thank you
I have an html table nested in an html table cell. I want the nested table to use the full size of the cell it is nested in. When I use firefox or google chrome I get the result I want but when I use Internet Explorer 8 (even if I use td style="height="100%") the height of the nested cell depends on it's content. As a result I get whitespace before and after my nested table.
I have an arraylist (eg: h1) contain some urls.
eg: http://www.google.com,http://www.yahoo.com,http://www.xyz.com,.....
How can i put hyperlinks to each elements in that arraylist in c# ? Means by clicking on that url it should navigate to corresponding website. Can you give an example??
Also, how can i use 'Hyperlink' keyword in c# ?
Why is still C99 mixed declarations and code not used in open source C projects like the Linux kernel or GNOME?
I really like mixed declarations and code since it makes the code more readable and prevents hard to see bugs by restricting the scope of the variables to the narrowest possible. This is recommended by Google for C++.
For example, Linux requires at least GCC 3.2 and GCC 3.1 has support for C99 mixed declarations and code
I have several flash movies that need to redirect to an external website at the end of the presentation. In any browser (firefox, opera, etc.), getURL("http://www.google.com"); works but in IE versions 7 and 8 it just hangs.
I need to use Action Script 2 because I have alot of code that doesn't work in AS 3.
Thanks!
Hi,
Actually make application on Google android g1 but normal screen size But I Want To increase
my screen size up to 1024x600 then how I can increase please help.........?
I know it's a simple question but I really can't find anything on Google. Sorry if I'm not searching right.
I created 2 pages and in the first one I have a button.
What should I write in the C# code to change to redirect me on the second page?
I usually know my way around C# but I'm totally new in ASP.
Frustrated in finding the .jar -balls like google collections or "package org.apache.commons.io;". Is there some utility to get them fast like the style-"apt-get source app"? "get-java-jar-ball-3rd source apache commons"?
Sometimes I'd like to take a peek into the implementation of the JRE classes, which is used to generate the JavaScript code.
For some classes, I can find a corresponding implementation by guessing its name, e.g. com.google.gwt.core.client.impl.StringBuilderImpl. But where's the implementation for java.util.Date for example? Where do I find it, and how does GWT find it (via some configuration file?)
Hi,
I notice when you go to google.com for example, the input field keyboard has a "submit" button as opposed to the original "return" button.
How do I turn on that feature?
I tried type=search but I still see the return button.
Thanks,
Tee
Is it possible to make GNU Emacs 24 dim unfocused windows a bit? For example, I can set my rxvt-unicode clients to become darker when their windows don't have focus with this string in ~/.Xdefaults:
URxvt*fading: 50
It greatly reduces discomfort when you have a lot of terminal windows on 2+ monitors. I would like a similar feature in Emacs, but couldn't google up anything.
Here is how it looks like with urxvt (png, 1.43 MB)
In the context of functional programming which is the correct term to use: persistent or immutable? When I Google "immutable data structures" I get a Wikipedia link to an article on "Persistent data structure" which even goes on to say:
such data structures are effectively
immutable
Which further confuses things for me. Do functional programs rely on persistent data structures or immutable data structures? Or are they always the same thing?

I can't seem to find this on google anywhere. I am trying to move to emacs from eclipse but I can't for the life of me figure out how to set my svn author name so it doesn't default the author name OR save the password so I don't have to type it in any each time. I am Ubuntu 8.10 if that matters.
Any insight would be great. Thanks.
I want my website to do exactly what Stackoverflow does with openId.
I'm combing through sources, and I have done this before with facebook, but
not making much progress with OpenID.
What I would like to do is just detect if someone has logged into Google,
and if they have get some identifying information, and allow them to
federate into my site.
Can anyone suggest any tutorials or Code snippets, and should I use Zends Libraries ?

Long and short of the story is, whilst reading John Resig's blog (specifically http://ejohn.org/blog/javascript-trie-performance-analysis/) I came across a line which makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. Essentially it boils down to
object = object[key] = something;
(this can be found in the first code block of the article I've linked.)
This has proven rather difficult to google, so if anyone can offer some insight / a good online resource for me to learn for myself, I'd much appreciate it.
On some pages in Google Analytics, there is a variable shown in the URL. The default value is 10. The URL always looks something like this:
...&trows=10&...
is there a way to change that to trows=100, so that the number of rows displayed by default is 100?
Thanks
I woudl like to know how to use a System.Collections.Hashtable in F#. The reason it is a Hashtable is because I am referencing C# assemblies.
How would I call the following methods?
- Add
- Get value from key
I have not been able to find anything useful in google about this. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
