    I am confused, I don't know what's wrong. I'm about to transfer all data from my first table to the other.     HI, i have a table, new_id----old_id----created_on 1234------5678------20100912 5678------3456------20100808 etc. i wrote this query, $q = "select event1.new_id, event1.old_id, event1.created_on,event2.new_id, event2.old_id, event2.created_on FROM replaced_isbns event1 JOIN replaced_isbns event2 ON event2.new_id = event1.old_id WHERE event1.new_id='$id'"; but i get result as 5678 - 1234, ie only one row, i want all rows... plz help me.   • How do I generate an Array string from an array in memory (php).

    I need to create a big array in my code, I have the values in several tables (for easy management). I select it and now I have all the values in an array, in memory in the way I want. My problem, I need to write this array down, into the code. Is there a way to take an array which sits in the memory and translate it into a string "array('g'='h','b'='d'....)" which I can then echo and just copy-paste into my code?

I have set up a filter for the divs using the following code: $("#logo").click(function() { $(".box").fadeIn(); $(".box:not(.logo)").fadeOut(); }); when I select an item, I want masonry to reload the layout so that the items are reshuffled and that there aren't blank spaces.     The first one below works, but, just wanted to see if there's a better way... If I'm trying to find all records that start with 'C' with either a flag of 2 or a status of 9, do I need to incorporate the 'C' criteria twice? i.e., "SELECT * FROM mytable WHERE name like 'C%' AND flag = 2 OR name like 'C%' AND status = 9" Or, is there a way quicker way to write it so that I only need to set 'C%' once?

But image if I have a huge contact list, it is not enough to just show list but possibility for filtering (by contact's name) is also needed.     I have to write mysql query for fetching result from my database with a specified date and code like ABH18 or ABH17 or ABH19.I write the querly like below. select * from tbl_transaction where trans_name like 'ABH19%' or trans_name like 'ABH18%' or trans_name like 'ABH17%' or trans_name like 'ABH15%' and date_of_vazhipad='2013-11-20' and trans_status='Completed successfully.' There are no result in the DB satisfying all above conditions.But i got result with different dates.But i want to ensure the date_of_vazhipad='2013-11-20' so that the query may work properly Thanks in advance

  • jQuery UI Autocomplete IE Cursor Position Bug

    Heya, I have just implemented the excellent jQuery UI autocomplete. http://jqueryui.com/demos/autocomplete/ There is a strange bug in IE 8 (and maybe other versions). When you select an item from the box of suggestions in IE 8 the cursor moves to the begining of the textbox before the suggested word which has just been inserted. Firefox put the cursor after the inserted word. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Regards Steve

I usually use it to detect changes in forms (select/unselect check boxes), and submit them automatically without having to click on submit button (which is hided). i.e. $("#views-exposed-form-Portfolio-page-1").change(function(){ $("#views-exposed-form-Portfolio-page-1").submit(); }); But in Ie it doesn't work. It seems I have to use "click" instead. thanks
