Machines -------- idMachine machine idCat Categories -------- idCat category Users -------- idUser nameUser UsersMachines -------- idUserMachine idUser IdMachine To list machines, filtered for any field of 3 previous table, I have this query: select distinct machines.*,categories.category from( (machines left join UsersMachines on machines.idMachine=UsersMachines.idMachine) left join categories on machines.idcat=categories.idcat) Ok,runs fine. But Using the same query, how I can do to filter the machines that only have linked users ?

  • Help with method logic in Java, hw

    I have a Loan class that in its printPayment method, it prints the amortization table of a loan for a hw assignment. We are also to implement a print first payment method, and a print last payment method. Since my calculation is done in the printPayment method, I didn't know how I could get the value in the first or last iteration of the loop and print that amount out. One way I can think of is to write a new method that might return that value, but I wasn't sure if there was a better way.     I am currently html encoding all user entered text before inserting/updating a db table record. The problem is that on any subsequent updates, the previously encoded string is reencoded. This endless loop is starting to eat up alot of column space in my tables. I am using parameterized queries for all sql statements but am wondering would it be safe to just let the .NET Framework handle this part without the HTML Encoding?

    I am trying to mix dynamic and static cells in a grouped table view: I would like to get two sections with static cells at the top followed by a section of dynamic cells (please refer to the screenshot below). I have set the table view contents to static cells. I designed the static cells in Interface Builder and gave them identifiers related to their section and row: "section0static0", "section0static1", "section1static0" and "section1static1". I named the dynamic cell "section2dynamic".
