• What causes POCO proxy entities to only sometimes be created in Entity Framework 4.

  I have set up my POCOs and I have marked their public properties as virtual and I am successfully getting Proxies most of the time (95%) but randomly I am getting EF return some proxies and some non-proxies. Recycling the app pool when this happens will then fix this instance of the error and it will go away for an amount of time. Then it will re-occur in some other random (it seems) place. What can cause this sort of behaviour? Thanks, Kohan

  I understand the reasons for compiler/interpreter language extensions but why is behaviour that has no valid definition allowed to fail silently/do weird things rather then throwing a compiler error? Is it because of the extra difficulty(impossible or simply time consuming) for the compiler to catch them)?

• Extending DataGrid/Changing DataGrids header

  Is there any way how to override DataGrids header line ? Or at least its behaviour ? I'm trying to implement Outlook-like grouping of the table. That is allow user to drag column header out of the table to the dedicated area to sort by that column (for example XamDataGrid has that feature, you can see how it works here). I cannot use any commercial solutions. I will be thankfull for any experiences, ideas, code, notes or tutorials.

I even tried creating the same viewstate with same name in usercontrol and page.Both holds different value. I understand that viewstate is a protected property.   I have a project in eclipse, that is unable to see maven dependencies. What is odd is when I build from the command line the build completes fine. They are both pointed at the same repository. • iPhone Application failing to come back from sigkill

  I have no idea if this is intended behaviour, but whenever the application exits (say, the user is double-clicking the home button and pressing on the red dash on the icon) I get the dreaded SIGKILL. Now, when I try to launch the app again all I get is the old screen state and a frozen (I presume ?) program. It could be because of clunky memory management, but NSZombieEnabled doesn't seem to agree. Any thoughts ?

(factorial of odd numbers), but the same way - writing clauses, registering arithmetic_function and operator, calling A is 7!! - results in SyntaxError: Operator expected How should I, if possible, register !! operator ? Yes, I realize, ! is normally the cut.

• CF Client Variables: is the CDATA - CGLOBAL relationship always 1:1?

  Hi We've noticed something odd with our Coldfusion 8 client variables DB. We have many more (about 3 times as many) CGlobal entries as we have CData entries. I would have assumed that the relationship would be 1:1 on the cfid column. Has any one else noticed this before? I have ruled out old data, my sample is less than 3 hours old. We're using SQL Server 2000 to host the tables. Thanks in advance, Ciaran

• Why is jQuery's .removeClass() adding a space to the class attribute?

  I'm having some strange issues with .removeClass() and .addClass() in jQuery. Specifically it seems that when I use .removeClass() the class is indeed removed, but a single space is left in it's place. then when I .addClass("secondclass") I get class=" secondclass" (with the space in front). I'm using jQuery 1.4.1 Is this intended behaviour or a bug? How to stop it?

• jQuery Selectable only select 1 and get a value?

  This might seem like an odd request but I'd like to use jQuery's Selectable tool to only select one item at a time and I'd like it to show me a value I'll have within each tag. • breakpoints not working properly on device with iOS 4.2.1 on Xcode 4.2

  That seems odd to me, but apparently, Xcode 4.2 doesn't recognice breackpoints properly on my iPod Touch 2G running iOS 4.2.1, while it does on my other Ipod Touch 4G running iOS 6.0 Both devices are enabled for development, and their debug symbols information are retrieved from both devices and copied into ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/iOS DeviceSupport/... The only thing that seems suspect to me is that 4.2.1 is missing on /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/... I have 4.2 and 4.3 but nothing in between any help is appreciated

  Can someone explain this behaviour? test.c: #include <stdio.h> int main(void) { printf("%d, %d\n", (int) (300.6000/0.05000), (int) (300.65000/0.05000)); printf("%f, %f\n", (300.6000/0.05000), (300.65000/0.05000)); return 0; } $ gcc test.c $ ./a.out 6012, 6012 6012.000000, 6013.000000 I checked the assembly code and it puts both the arguments of the first printf as 6012, so it seems to be a compile time bug.
