  I have found several open-source/freeware programs that allow you to convert .doc files to .pdf files, but they're all of the application/printer driver variety, with no SDK attached. I have found several programs that do have an SDK allowing you to convert .doc files to .pdf files, but they're all of the proprietary type, $2,000 a license or thereabouts. Does anyone know of any clean, inexpensive (preferably free) programmatic solution to my problem, using C# or VB.NET? Thanks!

When I initialise my Django form in a view, I would like to pass the image path as a parameter, and the form when rendered in the template displays the image. Enabling Cross domain in Firefox and Chrome was easy by setting the header on the handling server: header("Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *"); But this doesn't help enabling it in Internet Explorer. When I try: httpreq.send(''); it stops with error Access denied. How can this be enabled in Internet Explorer?

  Developed a winform project using VB 2008. I'm using a .xls sheet as source. My appln has 7 columns and unspecified rows. I want to sort all the columns based on a specified column and allot a serial number as per the sorted order.
