    In my project,I will get the coordinates of some points from an XML file,and create some visual components using this information ? I am planning to give these components to a Java swing frame or panel. However,The users are supposed to click on the figure(which I will construct using Graphics 2d libraries) and select two points and give a label to the points between those two points ? How can i get the clicks clicked on JFrame or JPanel(i.e events for this kind of actions) ?

  • How to Backup Emails that are Archived on Server

    Our exchange system here has been setup that any emails older and x weeks are automatically archived. Once they are when you click on them they are loaded from the archive and then opened. This makes backing older emails up onto say another drive impossible because when I open them from say home, I'm not connected to the exchange server and thus the email cannot be opened. Is there a way I can back them up and still have them available?

    What is the easiest way in standard Java Swing to align three components in such a way that: the dynamic widths of Component1 and Component3 are adjusted to be equal, while Component2 (which is in between) has constant width? Imagine we have some resizable JPanel (such as inside a JFrame).   • Put `stdout` in an `NSTextView` while running the a command

    I'm creating a Cocoa Application, which will need to run the rails command. This command generates an output, and streams it to stdout. I want to show this output to the user in an NSTextView (so basicly stream the stdout to the NSTextView). I don't really care about how I should run the command, as long as I can set the working directory. Can anyone help me? Thanks

    I'm now writing a Bonjour service listener class, according to the document here: Currently, it seems working, I can receive "netServiceBrowserWillSearch:" and "didFindService:moreComing:" correctly. However, after a long wait, I cannot receive " netServiceBrowserDidStopSearch:" or "netServiceBrowser:didNotSearch:". Therefore I don't know that is the proper time for my delegate class to stop showing some UI. Could anyone have an idea for this? Thanks.

    I have a method like: public T Get<T>(string key) { } Now say I want to return "hello" if the type is a string, and 110011 if it is type int. how can I do that? typeof(T) doesn't seem to work. I ideally want to do a switch statement, and return something based on the Type of the generic (string/int/long/etc). Is this possible?

  • In GWT 2.1.0.M2 the options "-style pretty" couldn't be recognized

    I am using GWT eclipse plugin and try to add option "-style pretty" inside arguments tab of debug configuration window in eclipse. But after click debug it just prompts "Unknown argument: -style". I used to use webcreator to create gwt app. this is my first time to use plugin and i am not sure i put it into the right place or gwt 2.1.0.M2 just doesn't support this option (which is wired). Please help me thanks in advance.
