  • Library resolution with autoconf?

    I'm building my first autoconf managed package. However I can't find any simple examples anywhere of how to specify a required library, and find that library where it might be in various different places. I've currently got: AC_CHECK_LIB(['event'], ['event_init']) but: It doesn't find the version installed in /opt/local/lib It doesn't complain if the library isn't actually found I need to set the include path to /opt/local/include too any help, or links to decent tutorials much appreciated...

    I have a large xml file which contents a lot of self-closed tags. How could remove all them by using XSLT. eg. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <Persons> <Person> <Name>user1</Name> <Tel /> <Mobile>123</Mobile> </Person> <Person> <Name>user2</Name> <Tel>456</Tel> <Mobile /> </Person> <Person> <Name /> <Tel>123</Tel> <Mobile /> </Person> <Person> <Name>user4</Name> <Tel /> <Mobile /> </Person> </Persons> I'm expecting the result: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <Persons> <Person> <Name>user1</Name> <Mobile>123</Mobile> </Person> <Person> <Name>user2</Name> <Tel>456</Tel> </Person> <Person> <Tel>123</Tel> </Person> <Person> <Name>user4</Name> </Person> </Persons> Note: there are thousands of different elements, how can I programmatically remove all the self-closed tags. Another question is how to remove the empty element such as <name></name> as well. Can anyone help me on this? Many thanks.

    Hi I am using eclipse galileo on my macbook pro. After a few minutes it starts dragging really badly, like it takes 8 seconds to open a file. I don't have many files open at all. I already modified the config file to increase ram and all that stuff. Is there something wrong with this version of eclipse, never had it run so poorly on here, Thanks

    I have a list of color values encoded as signed integers in a legacy INI file that I need to translate into (A)RGB values with .NET. An INI example: [INI_Section] Color=-2147483633 Doing something like: Color.FromArgb(-2147483633) gives an alpha-blended version of a color that is not at all what I expect. Is there a .NET method for translating these legacy colors properly? Note that pInvoke to OlePro32.dll is not an option.

    Hello, My TeamCity's nightly build produces more than 130Mb java doc as Build Configuration artifact. I have to share these artifact for other teams(developers), but javadoc every time has another one URL(I know that it's possible to get it like .lastFinished), and get's new place on Build Machine. Is it possible on each build replace old artifact with new one because I don't need need previous versions? And have independent from build version URL for accessing.

    I have a program which does a system call: latex somefile.latex This runs ok, when I type it directly in the command line, or when i invoke the program via CGI. But when it is using FastCGI, the system call returns: This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (TeX Live 2009) ---! Must increase the hyph_size (Fatal format file error; I'm stymied) I already tried to increase the hyph_size but still no effect.

What I mean is, say I have some custom user control, and this control has certain validation that it performs when I set a particular property. I'd like to be able to set a breakpoint somewhere within that code, and step through it to see what happens when I set the property from the designer.

  • Visual C++ 6.0 Academic Edition, using MFC as a static library

    I need to compile some mfc code that was written using Visual C++ 6.0 many years ago. I was supposed to be able to choose New-Project-Win32 Application and then in Project-Settings choose "Using MFC as a static library." I'm using the AE version and this could be the reason that this option is not available. So far, the smaller programs compile using the "Use MFC as a shared dll", but I'd like to have or mimic the other option. Any suggestions?
