• Recreating the Apple Store's summary that moves with the page scrolling

  I'm looking to create something like what Apple has on their online store for displaying the summary of your computer and total as seen here. I'm guessing this is JavaScript, but it'd be even cooler if it could be done in CSS. Basically I'd like something scrolls with the page like position:fixed, but I don't want it to start moving until the user has scroll past a certain position. I'm using jQuery, so a jQuery plugin would be perfect as well.

• Trying to open a file in Ruby - Getting TypeError: can't convert String into Integer

  Not sure whats going on here, or what could be the integer in this case. Here's the code: def build_array_from_file(filename) contents = [] File.read(File.expand_path('lib/project_euler/' + filename), 'r') do |file| while line = file.get contents << line end end contents end filename is a string and I've checked to make sure the path comes up valid.   If I use OnError event handler in my SSIS package, there are variables System::ErrorCode and System::ErrorDescription from which I can get the error information if any things fails while execution. But I cant the find the same for OnTaskFailed event handler, i.e. How to get the ErrorCode and ErrorDescription from the OnTaskFailed event handler when any things fails while execution in case we want to only implement OnTaskFailed event handler for our package?

  Hi, I m facing a issue where test/resource is not picked,but instead jar's main/resource is picked Scenario is like : Myproject src/test/resources--- have config.xml w which should be needed by abc.jar which is a dependecy in Myproject. When running test case for Myproject its loading config.xml of abc.jar instead of Myproject test/resources. - I need to know order in which maven pick resources. - Or wat im trying is not possible. • Automatically inserting new fields in a web.config file

  I have an ASP.NET project which has already some custom fields in it's web.config file. I've added in it three more fields and used them in my changes, and it's working great. But where it needs to be used, there aren't these thre fields in the web.config (this was expected, I've just added by hand for tests and developing). How do I check the existance of fields in web.config, and in case of not finding it, how do I add it permanently to the web.config ? Thank you

  I want to modify the "Java class" template, so that the class javadoc comment includes more than just the author. In Netbeans 6.8., I go to Tools Templates Java Java Class, and modify the template. However, nothing seems to change. I tried restarting Netbeans, just in case, but the old template is still used. How do I get Netbeans to recognize changes to the template for Java Classes?

  I am looking at integrating a C# application with a barcode scanner. The last time I did this was with Delphi 1 (win 3.11) using a scanner that plugged in-line into the keyboard cable. Looking around it appears most scanners are USB based these days and assume they emulate keyboard entry. Anybody know of more sophisticated/programmable scanner that can call a webservice or even just do a basic POST/GET this would eliminate the C# application and the computer to support it?

  Is there a way to "declare" a variable with a particular user-defined type in MATLAB? zeros() only works for built-in numeric types. The only solution I've come up with involves using repmat() to duplicate a dummy object zero times: arr = repmat(myClass(), [1 0]) Without declaring variables this way, any code which does "arr(end+1) = myClass()" has to include a special case for the default empty matrix which is of type double. Have I missed something a little more sensible?
