  • Audio recording and playback using NAudio

    When I try recording audio following this here, and using the related source code from here in the (voicerecorder.audio project), I face the problem that the recording stops within moments of starting and so does the playback. the recorded file is 46 bytes, and playback is there for less than a second, basically, the thread jumps to the next statement immediately. If I try to sleep the thread, it doesn't help. What can I do to keep it in the recording mode or playback mode until user interrupt ?

  • Positioning 1px off in Safari/Mac but works on Safari/Windows

    I'm beating my head against a wall on this one; the logo image ("It's All About Revenue") shifts up by one pixel in Safari on Mac, but renders correctly in all other browser/OS combinations I've been able to test. When we are on a cluster with a special, non-socket infrastructure system this API would emulate something like sockets but using that infrastructure (so programs perform much faster than on sockets, but still use the sockets API).

    Hi, I have a facebook connect installation on ilovefootball.com.au When they log in, we previously didn't ask Users for permission to get their email address, but the owner of the site wished to ask for users email to contact them later. If we didn't ask for their email address, is there a way to contact a Facebook connect user simply by knowing their name and Facebook UID? I'm confused as to which API to use to perform the communication if this possible. Any help is greatly appreciated. -CV

    Hey, I have a two jpeg files. One is 1024x768 in size and the other is 64x64. I'm creating a console application and would like to add the 64x64 image at location (X,Y) into the 1024x768 image. How can I do this in memory (since I'm not using winforms and would like this to be quite fast)? I've converted the larger image into bytes using File.ReadAllBytes, but I'm not sure how to insert the smaller image at a particular location. Thanks for any help

Here is a sample of my code: using (ServerManager serverManager = new ServerManager(webSite)) { ConfigurationSection anonymousAuthenticationSection = config.GetSection( @"system.webServer/security/authentication/anonymousAuthentication", webSite); anonymousAuthenticationSection["enabled"] = true; serverManager.CommitChanges(); return "true"; } This throws an exception and the message is: Cannot read configuration file due to insufficient permissions.     Hello. Does anyone know how I can resize a winform when it has no border. I don't want the default border that Windows has, so I changed the property "FormBorderStyle" to "None". This removed the border, although now it can't be resized. I've figured out how to move the form around, I just need to know how to resize it. Thanks for the help.

However, he's having a difficult time getting it set up, with some apparent code problems in the C source code for uWSGI.
