This is more of an open question than a direct one...
anyone out there having issues with kohana and the jquery wisywig plugin? mainly this one: http://code.google.com/p/jwysiwyg/
I am preparing for my interview tomorrow -- I need the answer to this question:
How can you print 1 to 10 & 10 to 1 by using recursion with single variable
Hi All,
Is there any specific methodology followed to specify a language for given grammar ?? i.e. Is it necessary to run all the production rules given in a grammar to determine the language it represents? I don't have an example as such since the one I am working on is a homework question.

Hi probably quite a simple question but..
When plotting a graph using matplotlib.pyplot my Y axis goes from -0.04 to 0.03 which is fine but there are 8 labels for increments (eg 0.03,0.02,0.01 etc.). I need more maybe 16 or so.
Thanks for your help
Working on implementing view helpers and partials to create a group of reusable display objects. Previously addressed in my question here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2389531/zend-framework-when-to-use-viewscripts-partials-vs-view-helpers
Wondering if partials can call view helpers of their own, and if they can whether those helpers will have access to the original view (since the partials don't).
Hi All
There is this 3rd party webservice. One of the public webmethods available is a GetDocument() method. This method returns a Document object. The Document object has properties for File(byte[]), ContentType(string) ect.
My Question : Can I subscribe to this service using javascript(mootools) + ajax + JSON, return the document object, in this case an excel document, and force the file download?
Hello,
I have a very basic knowledge of the web programming, and I couldn't figure out the answer to this question.
Typically, a cookie is used to identify a session in web applications. However, as far as I know, multiple browser windows share cookies. In that case, how does web applications distinguish between the tabs?
I've learned today, if you append to your query
OPTION (MAXDOP 0)
your query will run on multiple processors and if it's huge query, query will perform faster.
I know general guidelines on query optimizations (using indexes, selecting only needed fields etc.), my question is about SQL Server optimization. Maybe changing some options in configurations or anything else.
What guidelines are there for SQL Server Optimization?
Thank you.
I've found, via Google, numerous people asking the same question, but no solutions. The Python Image Library (PIL) has tools for stepping through an already existing multi-page TIFF, but nothing about creating them.
Libraries would hopefully be available on Windows, for Python 2.6.
If there's some freeware out there which will do the trick, I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I was hoping I could accomplish this in Python.
The question is to know if there is a way to build an HTML email with inline style (no CSS file, nor tags) with the href links that react with the mouse passing over them : just to be able to change the color font.
So, no JS, no script, no , just link
I feel rather foolish as this is just a short question.
I was reading about a bunch of thread management helper classes in .net, specifically one that aids the storage of threads to help a service manager object automatically invoke delegates onto the subscribing thread. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with creating dispatchers.
Totally forgotten the name, can't find it :( Anyone know what I'm talking about?
May be a dumb question, but GWT FlowPanel (raw div element) does not provides something to handle a mouseclick/mousemovement on it. Overriding onBrowserEvent do not works either.
If setting onclick event using native JavaScript (need to specify positive height before, 'div' have a height of 0 if not specified), then catching these events is working properly. Is there a way to do it without using JSNI?
I'm trying to send an int array through Winsocks. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure only a char* is supported so I'm kind of stuck on how to do this properly. There are also problems with little/big edian, so what would be a good way to do this? I've already asked a question of converting int array to char but it was recommended to start a new thread on this in the networking section instead.
There are several different methods for converting floating point numbers to Integers in JavaScript. My question is what method gives the best performance, is most compatible, or is considered the best practice?
Here are a few methods that I know of:
var a = 2.5;
window.parseInt(a); // 2
Math.floor(a); // 2
a | 0; // 2
I'm sure there are others out there. Suggestions?
basically i have read some samples, but all are self contained in one servlet.
such as: use doGet to establish the long polling connection, and then use doPost to trigger the event to notify all suspended connections.
Here is my question: I have other web actions programming in spring mvc, in the spring mvc controller a user post a message via /message/post, how can I make this action to trigger the atmosphere handler to notify the suspended connections?

hi ,
Mine is similar to this question.
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2042342/network-path-and-variables-in-python/2042376
The only difference is my network drive has a password protect with user name and password .
I need to copy files to a samba share using python and verify it.
if i manually login in then the code works but without logging in the shutil command does not work
Thanks
This may seem a trivial question, but it's one that's bothered me a lot lately. Why do some programmers refer to "C++/STL" like it's a different language? The STL is part of the C++ standard library -- and therefore is part of the language, "C++". It's not a separate component, and it does not live alone in the scope of things C++. Yet some continually act like it's a different language altogether. Why?
Does anyone know if Core Location in the iPhone OS uses anything but simple vector math to calculate speed? I've read that the GPS system can provide speed measurements that can be accurate when position is not (I believe using the Doppler shifts of the signals).
I've tried and failed to see if the iPhone does this. The question is basically, does this data contain information or is it just convenience functions, using (filtered?) location data?
In reference to my previous question regarding making the .EXE file for demonstration
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2862067/how-to-make-exe-for-demonstration-of-a-android-software-built-in-eclipse
Can anyone explain creating batch file to launch the emulator?
Besides making an HTML5 app (which may very well be the answer to this question), are there any other languages I can develop in for android besides Java?
Hi,
In answering my own question, I came across this GreaseMonkey script that automatically converts currency values on a webpage. I would like to modify the script for my specific case, and I want to know how I should modify the script MetaData block to acknowledge the script's original author and respect the (letter and spirit of the) GPL. Can anyone advise?
Thanks, MagicAndi
