  • Hessian on Windows Phone 7/ Silverlight ??

    Hi, I'm using hessian protocol for communication betwee server (java) and various client applications. Now I started to develop Windows Phone 7 client. I downloaded hessian C# implementation but it does not compile for windows phone 7/silverlight. Does anyone managed to make it work on WP7/Silverlight? It's looks like there is many thing to be done/changed to make it work, which I'd like to avoid if it has been done by someone already. Thanks.

    I just installed the Nfc Demo from google, but it doesn´t read the information from the Tag.- It just provides some fakeTag information. Has anybody an idea, where I can change the sample to read from the nfc Tag? Or has somebody a working nfc demo for the nexus? If we could bring a nfc demo to work, many people would have the possibility to develop a nfc demo on their own. Best regards Alexander

    When developing applications how much focus/time do you place on an application’s style vs. functionality. Battleship gray apps drive me insane. On the other hand maximizing a business application’s "style" can tax time and financial resources. Applications need to be appealing to resell or meet basic customer expectations, but defining a healthy medium can be difficult. What would you say are reasonable "standards" for allocating develop time/resources should be dedicated to stylizing a business application?

    Hello I am a beginning android developer using windows and the eclipse IDE to develop java android applications.I have published one game but there is a free version of the game and a paid version. The google market insists that the different versions must have different package names. So far i have been refactoring the package with 2 different names and changing the R resource file import each time i build the different versions. The code is 99% the same for both versions.Is there a better way?

  • Will apple allow an odds application?

    Hi, This is a hypothetical question. If one would develop an iPhone/iPad (Universal) odds application, whould apple allow this to the appstore? This application would not let you bet on odds directly, but would collect odds from different odds sites and show them to the user.     Microsoft's FxCop tool uses the introspection API. This introspection API could be used to develop new code analysis tools. But the introspection api is not documented well. Additionally, I was not able to figure out any blogs which explains this API in breadth and depth of it. The knowledge gained by understanding the API can also be used for writing custom FxCop rules. Does anybody knows about any blog or resources which explains the same?
