Is there a good article or source code where I could find an WPF image rotator (moves automatically) similar to WPF carousel?
I'm not really interested with DevExpress Carousel Control for WPF. I'm only lookingfor a simpler approach for this one.

I am presently lookingfor a user management system in PHP which can easily be integrated and built on. I have googled for it and i have two or three already on the list to try out, but then again i want the benefit of personal recommendation based on usage and experience with a solution.
So if you know of any that has worked for you in time past, i would really appreciate if you can recommend.
Thanks!

Hello,
I'm lookingfor a product that can:
1) allows users to have a video conference (picture + sound)
2) can be embedded in a jsp web page
3) supports video recording which can also be operated from the browser
The product may be commercial (or open source).
Thanks,
Yael
(don't know if this better belongs to SU/SF, feel free to move if so)
Hi, I've got a directory with 1000+ subfolders full with hi-res images. I'm lookingfor php software that would allow me to explore it server-side: browse folders - preview images - download hi-res. NB: support for print formats (tiff, eps) is a must!
I'm looking to write a Tag class (a tag is a string with no spaces). My first thought is to inherit from String:
class Tag < String
def initialize(str)
raise ArgumentError if str =~ /\s/
super
end
end
Does this look correct? Are there any other methods I should redefine?
I'm looking to throw up a web site that supports user submitted entries and allows voting and comments. Similar in form and function to FMyLife.
Basic requirements of site:
Users can submit text entries - generally 1 liners
Enters can be up or down voted
Comments allowed - presentation collapseable
Would like the fastest path possible. Ideal solution is configurable vs requirement for programming.
I'm lookingfor a java web framework that will allow you to configure dynamic urls where information is being passed to the controller.
For example
/{clientName}/login
would call the same controller regardless of the clientName and pass that clientName as an accessible value or an object in it's own right.
looking for a ruby on rails freelance job
I have been using ror for more than 2 years.
I am familiar with ruby, rails, javascript.
I'm living in Chengdu,China now.
i am lookingfor a open source full featured web search engine like nutch , because nutch is complex and it take much time to penetrate its code and i didnt find a book about it .
At first I was going to use doctrine ORM as the main one but it was an overkill, unneeded features and probably excessive calls. One of the main reasons was the "helper" that handled traverse trees (the hierarchy tree) easily but I'm starting to prefer building my own class.
This is what I'm looking for:
1) Can manage multiple database connections, (sort of like doctrine manager)
2) Models
3) flexible
All suggestions are welcome
I'm preparing a talk on SSL to our local Java user group, and I would like to introduce it with some story on how NOT to use it. I've searched through the DailyWTF archives but couldn't find anything really good.
Do you know such a story, or do you have some pointers where I could go lookingfor one?
When I am looking at a Sharepoint site home page, how can I tell if it is a site collection or a site? I also have the admin permissions if that helps, but, as you can see, no administration knowledge. :-)
The last time I produced a catalog I used a software called EasyCatalog that worked with Adobe InDesign to merge data from a spreadsheet with graphics. I wouldn’t say it was completely successful. I know of one other catalog building software called Catalog Builder by Computer Pundits. I'm just lookingfor any suggestions from someone who might have gone through this process on what software I should use.
Hi!
I'm lookingfor a FPGA + machine.
It should be entry level pricing (e.g no more than $200).
EDIT: I want to make an ASM chart and program the FPGA to act like I specified in the chart
We are lookingfor a .NET PDF creator. It needs to be .NET, so we can just copy the file(s) onto the server, not having to install anything.
We only need to create a PDF with some text and images and a heading, that's all.
Anyone know a good one? We are happy to buy if there is a good one that is easy to use.
Thanks in advance.
I'm lookingfor a free alternative to all the XML/XSD editors around here (that are relatively expensive--at least for me). I totally fail to find one.
I need it to allow me to edit xsd files to help in writting an xml-based language specification. I need it to be visual to help with the design, making it clear. Other features are less interesting for me.
Any suggestion?
I'm thinking about writing a small application that will help me mass rename files. I currently use an application named 'RegexRenamer', which (I'm assuming) uses the .NET regex engine. The application is fine, but is sort of clunky.
So what I'm lookingfor is a C/C++ regex library that I can build my custom program off of. Anything that is small and lightweight is preferred (.Net seems heavy).
Thanks.
Hi,
I'm lookingfor a tool to enumerate all methods and properties on an activeX binary.
Right now, my solution consists in adding the activeX as a reference in a VB6 project, then use the object explorer (F2).
Is there anything quicker than that?
Ms ActiveX Control Pad isn't an option, as it's far less usable than the VB IDE.
Thanks
Can anyone possibly suggest a good book which steps through the development of such a driver written in C. I'm lookingfor a book which is good for beginners. If there is an online resource on how to do this which explains the process from ground up it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you
Victor
