    You can publish the properties of an control that is inside a activex form? example I have a form with an TAdoconnection component, I wish the properties of this component can be modified by the user when he loads my activex control. UPDATE @TOndrej gives me a very nice sample, but this sample only works for components derived from an activex control, how can accomplish this same efffect with an VCL component like an Timage or TMemo? is possible publish all the properties without rewrite each property to expose manually?

    I know there is something I am doing wrong. In my controls I have keydown events that control my hero. As of right now, I am trying to rotate my hero but he refuses to turn . But I get attempt to call private method error. I'm guessing it has something to do with 'self'? Thanks for your help.

  • optimizing widget painting.

    I am painting a widget and I want to optimize the process. Basically i will be sliding the image in the x direction and I only want to fill the newly exposed area. Is there a way to translate the pixels of a widget without calling update or using paintevent? I know of pixmaps and such but I am wondering If I can for example draw a pixmap once and then translate what I have drawn without having to paint anything else or draw pixmaps anymore.
