  • Cancel changes in a Java Swing Input window

    I am new to Java Swing and I am creating a window which displays a list of items retrieved from an XML file that can be manipulated by the user. The window should have a Cancel and a Save functionality implemented with buttons. While the Save functionality is straightforward (just close the window) I don't know how to implement the Cancel functionality. Does exist an "undo" function? Does anyone know how?

    I am trying to set the default value for a new column I just added. In properties I am trying to set 'Default Value or Binding' to a simple XML along the lines of: <root><title>Welcome</title><body>Thank you for your time.</body></root> However, when I click away, I get "sql error validating the default for column," I set this value in other numerical columns and it worked fine. What gives?

  • How to add django-db-log models to admin panel?

    Just installed django-db-log module and trying to make it work properly. 'python manage.py syncdb' command created databases, it seems like logging works, but there is nothing about it in admin panel. As I found in documentation, it should add itself in admin panel without any additional configuration, but then I added 'djangodblog.middleware.DBLogMiddleware' in MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES and 'djangodblog' in INSTALLED_APPS it looks like nothing happens. What I'm doing wrong?

Consider this snippet... /views/nodes/packages.ctp <li><?php echo $html->link( "Package 1", array( "packages", "package1" ) )?></li> Now when I click on the link, the address in address bar appears like http://www.server.com/nodes/packages/packages/package1 Why is this happening?   • Why are my images compressed?

    I'm using layout xml file for the UI. But the images are compressed and the qualities have lost in some level. My code is like this: <ImageView android:layout_width="480px" android:layout_height="717px" android:layout_x="0px" android:layout_y="45px" android:scaleType="fitXY" android:src="@drawable/e4" /> The drawable is actually 480x717. What's the problem here? Is it due to the fitXY?

    Hello, .NET 4.0 I am looking for the easiest way to generate a Word document on our server. Limitations : Server side I don't want to install word on the server Data source is XML I tried to generate a DOCX with XSLT which is fast and easy but the only way I could find to validate the generated document is to open it with Word and the only error I get when the document is not valid is "Error while opening document".     When I build Rails applications I find myself doing the same things over and over again. This includes adding the same gems/plugins, configuration info and custom initializers, rake tasks etc... etc.... This can't be a good thing. So, is there a way to package all this repetitive code into some sort of project template ... so that I can do a "rails myapp" and have everything good to go from there?     Working with an standard configuration of the server, without any lock, my files are read-only after every check out or update to the working copy. I have to set them to be not read-only to continue working, but besides this shouldn't be happening, it's uncomfortable. Anybody knows how to avoid this behavior?

  • flex button spacing in a horizontal list

    How do you dynamically resize buttons in a horizontal list to fit the text size? I am pulling in my button text from xml and it seems that it resizes all the buttons to the first items text. I am wrapping my button inside a canvas, not setting widths for either of them. Basically I need all the buttons to resize to their text, and have them all spaced evenly as well.

  • Global NSMutableArray doesn't seem to be holding values

    I have a Cocos2D iPhone application that requires a set of CGRects overlaid on an image to detect touches within them. "Data" below is a class that holds values parsed from an XML file. "delegateEntries" is a NSMutableArray that contains several "data" objects, pulled from another NSMutableArray called "entries" that lives in the application delegate. For some strange reason, I can get at these values without problems in the init function, but further down the class in question, I try to get at these values, and the application crashes without an error message (as an example, I put in the "ccTouchBegan" method which accessess this data through the "populateFieldsForTouchedItem" method. Can anyone see why these values would not be accessible from other methods? No objects get released until dealloc.     Hi, I created a custom yaml handler, myRunnerConfigHandler, and placed it under apps/frontend/lib/myRunnerConfigHandler.class.php and created a new config_handler and placed it under apps/frontend/config/config_handler.yml Now, under config_handler.yml,I placed my configuration for my new rundown: modules/*/config/rundown.yml: class: myRundownConfigHandler Basically, under each module, I want to have a yaml file under /apps/frontend/modules/home/config/rundown.yml However no rundown.yml files are being seen.
