    - by ACEnglish

  • relaunch app when it ends or when it prints out certain text (stdout)

    - by acidzombie24
I have an app which acts almost like a daemon. Sometimes it quits on error and many times it prints an error msg then ask users to press any key to close. How can i relaunch the app when either case happens? I am more interested in the 2nd case. I can do this in c++, C# or python. The script is an old python that i dont want to change (a newer c# version is in the works but not stable)

  • Fast matrix transposition in Python

    - by psihodelia
Is there any fast method to make a transposition of a rectangular 2D matrix in Python (non-involving any library import).? Say, if I have an array X=[[1,2,3], [4,5,6]] I need an array Y which should be a transposed version of X, so Y=[[1,4],[2,5],[3,6]].

  • Is there a common way to access files, that works both on android and PC?

    - by m01
Hi, I'm writing an application that will ship in two versions: Android and PC version. Is there a simple way to access files from the shared code? Using java.io is simple, but I don't know how to access android resources or assets using it. And I can't write methods that operate on FileInputStreams instead, because some files contain references to another ones, so I need a way to access them from the method code. Any suggestions?

  • Is there a link to the "latest" jquery library on Google APIs?

    - by Nick Pierpoint
I use the following for a jquery link in my <script> tags: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.2.6/jquery.js Just wondered if anyone had discovered whether there's a link to the "latest" version: Something like the following (which doesn't work): http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/latest/jquery.js (Obviously not necessarily a great plan to link your code to potentially changing libraries but useful in development)

  • ETA on Smart Device Projects for Visual Studio 2010

    - by Vaccano
I really want to upgrade to Visual Studio 2010. But since I do a lot of development for the Pocket PC version of Windows Mobile I cannot. (I develop for a Symbol device that does not support Windows Phone 7, so that is not a option.) Does any one know any kind of time frame of when Microsoft plans to add support for Smart Device Projects into Visual Studio 2010

  • How to know when an upload is done?

    - by mr1031011
I'm using Guzzle 4 (latest version) to upload file to a remote server, since it uses stream to upload the $response-getStatusCode() will be 100 which means "Continue" and the responseBody is not available at this point. Is there a way to catch the remote server response when the upload is done? Edit 1: I was able to call back to a function when the upload is done using this: https://github.com/guzzle/progress-subscriber However, I haven't found out how to get the response yet

  • Is there a standard place to store Spring library jar files?

    - by richj
I've downloaded Spring 3.0.2 with dependencies and found that it contains 405 jar files. I usually keep third party libraries in a "lib" subdirectory, but there are so many Spring jars that it seems sensible to keep them separately so that they don't swamp the other libraries and to simplify version upgrades. I suspect that I want to keep the full set of libraries in Subversion, but only deploy the subset that is actually used. Do Spring users have a standard way to deal with this problem?

  • VisualSVN and VS2008 integration - moving files

    - by tyndall
If I drag and drop tracked .cs files to new folders in VS2008 with VisualSVN what message should I see when I commit the .cs file? I see added (+) shouldn't I see a "move"? I'm asking because I'm getting ready to do a major refactoring (including moving lots of files) and I don't want to lose my version history on these files. Note: I'm very new to Subversion, TortoiseSVN, and VisualSVN.

  • In .NET Xml Serialization, is it possible to serialize a class with an enum property with different

    - by Lasse V. Karlsen
    I have a class, containing a list property, where the list contains objects that has an enum property. When I serialize this, it looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ibm850"?> <test> <events> <test-event type="changing" /> <test-event type="changed" /> </events> </test> Is it possible, through attributes, or similar, to get the Xml to look like this? <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ibm850"?> <test> <events> <changing /> <changed /> </events> </test> Basically, use the property value of the enum as a way to determine the tag-name? Is using a class hierarchy (ie. creating subclasses instead of using the property value) the only way? Edit: After testing, it seems even a class-hierarchy won't actually work. If there is a way to structure the classes to get the output I want, even with sub-classes, that is also an acceptable answer. Here's a sample program that will output the above Xml (remember to hit Ctrl+F5 to run in Visual Studio, otherwise the program window will close immediately): using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Xml.Serialization; namespace ConsoleApplication18 { public enum TestEventTypes { [XmlEnum("changing")] Changing, [XmlEnum("changed")] Changed } [XmlType("test-event")] public class TestEvent { [XmlAttribute("type")] public TestEventTypes Type { get; set; } } [XmlType("test")] public class Test { private List<TestEvent> _Events = new List<TestEvent>(); [XmlArray("events")] public List<TestEvent> Events { get { return _Events; } } } class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { Test test = new Test(); test.Events.Add(new TestEvent { Type = TestEventTypes.Changing }); test.Events.Add(new TestEvent { Type = TestEventTypes.Changed }); XmlSerializer serializer = new XmlSerializer(typeof(Test)); XmlSerializerNamespaces ns = new XmlSerializerNamespaces(); ns.Add("", ""); serializer.Serialize(Console.Out, test, ns); } } }
