  • Android::Webview removes scrollbar for a DIV

    I made a small webpage with a scrollable div. When I load it in a browser, it works fine. But when I load it in a webview inside Android, it doesn't let me scroll the div. Is there a workaround for this or do I have to use a different design? I am talking about websites like this.

    Hi there, When I create UITableView with UITableViewController, all the right - scroll bar is present on UITableView. But I'd like to place some more controls apart from table on the area, so I have to use UIViewController instead. I create UITableView *tableView as controller's member, and set controller as its delegate conforming to UITableViewDelegate and UITableViewDataSource protocols. All the OK now, except of scroll bars do not appear at all. tableView.showsVerticalScrollIndicator is set to YES. Where might be a problem? Much thanks! WBR, Timur

  • Flex 3 - Scroll bar issue

    Im currently learning Flex, and Im having the hardest time getting scroll bars to work. In short Im pretty much just making a giant form for users to fill out, contained within a viewstack component, the user will type up information in one view, and it will be displayed in the other. But right now in the first canvas i have components that run of the screen and flex doesnt seem to automate a scroll bar, so i added in 'verticalScrollPolicy="on"' to my canvas, now while it gives me a scroll bar, it gives me an empty scroll bar, I still cannot move it up or down, meaning components are still trapped off the bottom of my screen. Im I missing something amazingly simple?   • How can you determine when the user scrolls to the bottom of a DataGridView?

    I am writing a C# Windows Forms Application in Visual Studio 2008. I have a DataGridView with a lot of data in it. I would like to initially only populate 10,000 rows and add more only when the user scrolls to the bottom. I am handling the DataGridView's Scroll event, but it never seems to raise with the ScrollEventArgs.Type property set to Last, which is the condition I think I need to catch to add more rows. I have read about people having bad experiences with the DataGridView.Scroll event (e.g. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/785200/datagridview-scroll-event-and-scrolleventtype-endscroll), but the solution provided (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/472389/how-can-i-receive-the-scroll-box-type-scroll-events-from-a-datagridview/767603#767603) only adds the ScrollEventArgs.Type property to come back as EndScroll, not Last like I need. Does anybody know how to get the event to raise properly, or another way to accomplish this task?

  • Adding scrollbars to UserControl

    I am trying to add vertical and horizontal scrollbars to my UserControl with the HorizontalScroll and VerticalScroll properties, but I am having extreme issues. My problem arises when I drag or manipulate the scroll box on the bar. When I let it go, it simply jumps back to the start position! I know of the AutoScroll property, but I do not want to use it since I want to be able to control every aspect of my scrollbars, and I don't want it to be done automatically. Also, according to the documentation, AutoScroll is for "[enabling] the user to scroll to any controls placed outside of its visible boundaries" which isn't what I want. I just want scrollbars. ...aaand I suppose I could add VScrollBar and HScrollBar to the control, but why should I do this when the scroll functionality already exists? Seems like a waste to me.

I wired PreviewMouseDown and PreviewMouseUp to a single event, which checked my backgroundWorker.IsBusy, and if it was set the IsHandled property on the event args to true.

    Using winforms in vs2008. I have a DataGridView and I would like to detect when the vertical scroll bar is visible. What event should I register for? I am adding the summing the each cell value in the last column of the grid and displaying that value in a textbox at the bottom of the DataGridView. I would like this textbox to stay lined up with the cell values (I have made them right aligned since it is $$ values) even after the scroll bar is present.

  • jQuery UI Autocomplete with scrollbar z-index help

    I have a textbox that I am attaching jQuery UI's Autocomplete functionality to and I am using CSS to give it a max height via the example here. My problem is that doing this causes the z-index problem that bgiframe solves to come back again, but in a different way. The initial autocomplete menu is above all the controls underneath it, but when I begin to scroll the autocomplete menu falls behind them. Any suggestions? EDIT: This is purely an IE6 bug. As you can see, after scrolling down the autocomplete falls behind the other controls.

    Hello fellow programmers, I was wondering if there still isn't a good way to get a div to stretch and scroll horizontally, according to the images inside. -After all, it is 2011 now! The mega-width does the trick, but leaves an empty mega-space if not filled with images. If filled too much, images don't display. Same for the jQuery. The click event listener registered with the element is triggered when I click on the element, but not when I click on the scroll bar for the element. Is it possible to capture mouse events which occur on an HTML element's scroll bar? The reason I want to do this is to make a visual popup element disappear when ever a click event occurs anywhere outside the popup element.

    I've seen this problem on the web, and all the suggested solutions aren't working for me, so I thought I'd come here. I have a page that has an iframe. The top of the page is a dropdown menu, the rest of the page is the iframe. The idea like I'm sure everybody else does, is to have the menu stay stationary and the menu selection runs an application in the iframe. The contents of the iframe should scroll, but the page as a whole should not. I've tried putting the iframe width=height=100% inside a single table element also with width=height=100% but I get two scrollbars if I make the window too short vertically. Any suggestions?

Every second time the control size shrinks (IE, drag the the border one pixel), I get a scroll bar on the bottom which can't move at all (not even one pixel). The result of which is when I drag the size of the parent I am left with a flickering scroll bar in the ListView, and a 50% chance it will be there when the dragging stops.
