  • CKEditor disable HTML transformation

    I've got a problem with CKEditor. Especially the br- and img-Tags are transformed to not be valid. In the source-view I see and but when I inspect the rte-source the slashes are gone as well as when submitting the form. Can someone tell me where I can disable this or enable XHTML-conformity? The embedding page is XHTML. Thank to any hints, ideas or solutions.

  • XSL transformation of SVG adds namespace attribute to new tag

    I have a SVG file that I want to extend by adding onclick handlers to edges and nodes. I also want to add a script tag referring to a JavaScript. The problem is that the script tag gets an empty namespace attribute added to it. I haven't found any information regarding this that I understand. Why does XSLT add an empty namespace?     I have the following model associations: Response->Survey Response->Question Response->Choice Survey->Question Question->Choice I want to create a form where I could answer all the questions for one survey. So I used the following to return the needed data: $questions = $this->Response->Question->find('all', array( 'conditions' => array('survey_id' => $id), 'contain' => array('Choice') ) ); Sample output for debug($questions). Questions Is there a contain() option so that an associated model returns in the find('list') format so that I could use: foreach($question as $questions) { $this-Form-select('field_name', $question['Choice']); } If no option is available, how could I do this using PHP's builting array methods? PS: The foreach block won't turn into a code block. If someone could edit and fix it, please do so and delete this line. Thank you.

  • Comparing images using SIFT

    I'm trying to compare 2 images that are taken from a digital camera. Since there may be movement on the camera, I want to first make the pictures "match" and then compare (using some distant function). To match them, I'm thinking about cropping the second picture and using SIFT to find it inside the first picture... it will probably have a small difference on scale/translation/rotation so then I'd need to find the transformation matrix that converts image 1 to image 2 (based on points found by SIFT) any ideas on how to do that (or I guess that's a common problem that may have some opensource implementation?)? thanks

  • Converting C source to C++

    How would you go about converting a reasonably large (300K), fairly mature C codebase to C++? The kind of C I have in mind is split into files roughly corresponding to modules (i.e. less granular than a typical OO class-based decomposition), using internal linkage in lieu private functions and data, and external linkage for public functions and data. Global variables are used extensively for communication between the modules. There is a very extensive integration test suite available, but no unit (i.e. module) level tests. I have in mind a general strategy: Compile everything in C++'s C subset and get that working. Convert modules into huge classes, so that all the cross-references are scoped by a class name, but leaving all functions and data as static members, and get that working. Convert huge classes into instances with appropriate constructors and initialized cross-references; replace static member accesses with indirect accesses as appropriate; and get that working. Now, approach the project as an ill-factored OO application, and write unit tests where dependencies are tractable, and decompose into separate classes where they are not; the goal here would be to move from one working program to another at each transformation. Obviously, this would be quite a bit of work. Are there any case studies / war stories out there on this kind of translation? Alternative strategies? Other useful advice? Note 1: the program is a compiler, and probably millions of other programs rely on its behaviour not changing, so wholesale rewriting is pretty much not an option. Note 2: the source is nearly 20 years old, and has perhaps 30% code churn (lines modified + added / previous total lines) per year. It is heavily maintained and extended, in other words. Thus, one of the goals would be to increase mantainability. [For the sake of the question, assume that translation into C++ is mandatory, and that leaving it in C is not an option. The point of adding this condition is to weed out the "leave it in C" answers.]

  • Saxon XSLT-Transformation: How to change serialization of an empty tag from <x/> to <x></x>?

    Hello folks! I do some XSLT-Transformation using Saxon HE 9.2 with the output later being unmarshalled by Castor 1.3.1. The whole thing runs with Java at the JDK 6. My XSLT-Transformation looks like this: <xsl:transform version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:ns="http://my/own/custom/namespace/for/the/target/document"> <xsl:output method="xml" encoding="UTF-8" indent="no" /> <xsl:template match="/"> <ns:item> <ns:property name="id"> <xsl:value-of select="/some/complicated/xpath" /> </ns:property> <!-- ... more ... --> </xsl:template> So the thing is: if the XPath-expression /some/complicated/xpath evaluates to an empty sequence, the Saxon serializer writes <ns:property/> instead of <ns:property></ns:property>. This, however, confuses the Castor unmarshaller, which is next in the pipeline and which unmarshals the output of the transformation to instances of XSD-generated Java-code. So my question is: How can I tell the Saxon-serializer to output empty tags not as standalone tags?   • Interpolation and Morphing of an image in labview and/or openCV

    I am working on an image manipulation problem. I have an overhead projector that projects onto a screen, and I have a camera that takes pictures of that. I can establish a 1:1 correspondence between a subset of projector coordinates and a subset of camera pixels by projecting dots on the screen and finding the centers of mass of the resulting regions on the camera. I thus have a map proj_x, proj_y <-- cam_x, cam_y for scattered point pairs My original plan was to regularize this map using the Mathscript function griddata. This would work fine in MATLAB, as follows [pgridx, pgridy] = meshgrid(allprojxpts, allprojypts) fitcx = griddata (proj_x, proj_y, cam_x, pgridx, pgridy); fitcy = griddata (proj_x, proj_y, cam_y, pgridx, pgridy); and the reverse for the camera to projector mapping Unfortunately, this code causes Labview to run out of memory on the meshgrid step (the camera is 5 megapixels, which apparently is too much for labview to handle) I then started looking through openCV, and found the cvRemap function. Unfortunately, this function takes as its starting point a regularized pixel-pixel map like the one I was trying to generate above. However, it made me hope that functions for creating such a map might be available in openCV. I couldn't find it in the openCV 1.0 API (I am stuck with 1.0 for legacy reasons), but I was hoping it's there or that someone has an easy trick. So my question is one of the following 1) How can I interpolate from scattered points to a grid in openCV; (i.e., given z = f(x,y) for scattered values of x and y, how to fill an image with f(im_x, im_y) ? 2) How can I perform an image transform that maps image 1 to image 2, given that I know a scattered mapping of points in coordinate system 1 to coordinate system 2. This could be implemented either in Labview or OpenCV. Note: I am tagging this post delaunay, because that's one method of doing a scattered interpolation, but the better tag would be "scattered interpolation"

  • Certain transformations in Open Inventor(Coin3D)

    Hi, I am quite new to Open Inventor(Coin3D) and have the following problem: I have a SoSelection holding a root node(also SoSeparator). And the root node holds a number of SoSeparator nodes. Each of these SoSeparator nodes holds a SoTransform node and a SoCube node. When I select one cube node I want all other cubes within a certain distance to the selected cube to arrange in a circle arround the selected cube. (Moreover all of the cubes should be on a plane than) An additional information: My cubes are always oriented in the camera direction with (cubeTransform_-rotation.connectFrom(&camera_-orientation) Assuming the selected cube is the center of the circle, how do I translate the other cubes in a circle on a plane(perpendicular to the vector between the selected cube and the camera)? Especially how do I find coordinates on the plain on which the circle should be which have a certain distance from the Axis (from center cube to camera). What I already did is to search for the for all cubes within a certain distance as soon as one cube is selected. As a result I already have the required separators (which are holding the according SoTransforms and SoCubes) in a SoPathList. Now I want to arrange the cubes by modifing the according SoTransform-translation values. Regards Mark

  • Access external xml using xslt document function return 401

    On MOSS2007, I have a webpart that display the content of a xml feed. I use a xslt with parameters for transforamtions. There is a situation when I receive a 401 Authorisation exception. I realize that this happen when a document() function from my xslt try to open an external xml. If I try to open this xml in browser all work ok. I provided my admin credentials to the web part and to the XmlSecureResolver. Same problem. The webpart is on server1 and the xml feed and external xml required by xslt is on server2.   • OpenGLES rotation in fixed coordinate system

    Hi, I'm having real trouble finding out how to rotate an object arround two axes without changing axes orientation. I need only local rotation, first arround X axis and then arround Y axis(only example, it doesn't matter how many transformations arround which axes) without transforming the whole coordinate system, only the object. The problem is that if I'm using glRotatef arround X axis, the axes are rotated also and that's what I don't want. I've red bunch of articles about it but it seems I'm still missing something. Thanks for every help. To have some sample code here, it's something like this glMatrixMode(GL_MODELVIEW); glLoadIdentity(); glRotatef(rotX, 1.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glRotatef(rotY, 0.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f); drawObject(); but this transforms the coordinate system also.

    I have an xml message that is in the older schema (xsd) format. My new schema is exactly the same but I embedded an element inside the older one. For example : My old schema had an element : <exclude> MyRestriction </exclude> but my new schema is like this : <exclude> <restriction> MyRestriction </restriction> </exclude> and the entire message is the same as before. Last time I used to do a copy-of but now I need to have a template that copy-of everything but move the value of the exclude to the restriction tag. Anyone can help me please ? Thanks
