• How can I reload a datagrid in flash action script, after an xml file has loaded

  Hi Everyone, Does anyone know how to change the rowcount of a datagrid in flash after it has been created on the stage. I am loading an xml file externally that contains the number of rows the datagrid should have, but the problem is that becuase this file is not loaded at runtime, it just picks the default 3 items. Maybe I have to reload the datagrid on the stage, or loop until it is defined. Does anyone have experince of this. Regards, Chris

I know it is the case with the css folder, but in migrating a traditional php website over, will my /images folder, /js folder /mp3s, etc Will those all just also be public folders that will be accessed via the layout or view.phtml pages?   Hi all, I am just trying to count the number of white spaces to the LEFT of a line from a text file. I have been using count( line.begin(), line.end(), ' ' ); but obviously that includes ALL white spaces to the left, in between words and to the right. So basically what I'm wanting it to do is once it hits a non-space character stop it from counting the white spaces. Thanks everyone.

  Hello everyone, I'm in the design phase for a desktop-based application. Because of the nature of this particular application, I believe it would benefit greatly from a web-based approach (i.e., allowing a user to interface with the application through a browser running in kiosk mode) in order to leverage the simplicity of HTML/CSS/JS and the availability of many great JS interface plugins. Does taking this approach (rather than coding in a native or cross-platform graphics library) come with any gotchas?
