    I am trying to rescue from a `require': no such file to load in ruby in order to hint the user at specifying the -I flag in case he has forgotten to do so. Basically the code looks like: begin require 'someFile.rb' rescue puts "someFile.rb was not found, have you" puts "forgotten to specify the -I flag?" exit end I have expected the rescue part to take over execution in case someFile.rb was not found, but my assumption was wrong.

    Is there a way to hide the "X" closing icon of a ToolWindow or is there a way to use IVsWindowFrameNotify3's OnShow method to discard (ignore) the event? It seems that the OnClose method is called only when VS exit. When the ToolWindow is called, the OnShow method is called with the __FRAMESHOW.FRAMESHOW_WinHidden state. thanks

So my question is how can we do this process with 3 socket( tcp connection) without using thread?   • makecontext segfault?

    I am working on a homework assignment that will be due in the next semester. It requires us to implement our own context switching/thread library using the ucontext API. The professor provides code that does it, but before a thread returns, he manually does some work and calls an ISR that finds another thread to use and swapcontexts to it or if none are left, exits. The point of the assignment is to use the uc_link field of the context so that when it hits a return it takes care of the work. I've created a function (type void/void args) that just does the work the functions did before (clean up and then calls ISR). The professor said he wanted this. So all that's left is to do a makecontext somewhere along the way on the context in the uc_link field so that it runs my thread, right? Well, when I do makecontext on seemingly any combination of ucontext_t's and function, I get a segfault and gdb provides no help.. I can skip the makecontext and my program exist 'normally' when it hits a return in the threads I created because (presumably) the uc_link field is not properly setup (which is what I'm trying to do). I also can't find anything on why makecontext would segfault.     I have moved my Opencart website to a new host, and I receive the error: Notice: Error: Could not load language total/sub_total! in .../vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_library_language.php on line 41 How do I resolve this? I have tried renaming vqmod/xml to vqmod/xml.bad, with no result. I have tried renaming /vqmod/vqcache to /vqmod/vqcache.bad, with no result. Update: In \system\library\language.php, I commented out an else branch which resulted in an application exit.

  • send socket c ctrl+c behavior

    I'm witting an application based on a server and various client but I'm having a problem with the send command. Whenever I do ctrl+c on the client side the send operation kills the thread which is in and the process running (in order to have multiple clients I set a thread to which one). If the client ends (doing the close socket) properly the server doesn't die, but when I use the ctrl+c combination on the client both exit. What can I do to prevent send commando to have this behavior? Thx in advance
