  • Facebook Connect: Error when clicking the Facebook Connect button

    - by Garrett
    I am getting this error when I click on the facebook connect button: API Error Code: 100 API Error Description: Invalid parameter Error Message: next is not owned by the application. I am not too sure how to do this, but I've read all the documentation for facebook connect and came up with this: <?php date_default_timezone_set("America/Toronto"); define('FACEBOOK_APP_ID', '##################'); define('FACEBOOK_SECRET', 'XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX'); function get_facebook_cookie($app_id, $application_secret) { if(!isset($_COOKIE['fbs_' . $app_id])) return null; $args = array(); parse_str(trim($_COOKIE['fbs_' . $app_id], '\\"'), $args); ksort($args); $payload = ''; foreach ($args as $key => $value) { if ($key != 'sig') { $payload .= $key . '=' . $value; } } if (md5($payload . $application_secret) != $args['sig']) { return null; } return $args; } $cookie = get_facebook_cookie(FACEBOOK_APP_ID, FACEBOOK_SECRET); ?> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml"> <head> <!-- JQUERY INCLUDE --> <script src="js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <!-- FACEBOOK CONNECT INCLUDE --> <script src="http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php/en_US" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- $(document).load(function() { }); FB.init("XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXx ", "xd_receiver.htm"); FB.Event.subscribe('auth.login', function(response) { window.location.reload(); }); function facebook_onlogin() { FB.getLoginStatus(function(response) { if (response.session) { // logged in and connected user, someone you know fb_login.hide(); } else { // no user session available, someone you dont know } }); } // --> </script> </head> <body> <div id="fb_login"> <fb:login-button onlogin="facebook_onlogin();" v="2">Log In with Facebook</fb:login-button> </div> <?php $user = json_decode(file_get_contents( 'https://graph.facebook.com/me?access_token=' . $cookie['access_token']))->id; ?> </body> </html> how on earth can i get this to work? thanks!

  • Snow Leopard upgrade -> reinstalling sqlite3-ruby gem problem

    - by Carl Tessler
    Hi all, I got ruby 1.8.7 (native compiled), rails 2.3.4, OSX 10.6.2 and also sqlite3-ruby. The error I'm getting when accessing the rails app is NameError: uninitialized constant SQLite3::Driver::Native::Driver::API History: I upgraded to snow leopard by migrating my apps with a FW-cable from my old macbook to the new one. Everything was running perfectly for months, but Yesterday I needed to install watir, which was dependant on rb-appscript, which didn't build due a "wrong architecture" error in libsqlite3.dylib. I figured the build was made on the old machine, so i wanted to rebuild sqlite3-ruby: $ sudo gem uninstall sqlite3-ruby $ sudo gem install sqlite3-ruby Building native extensions. This could take a while... ERROR: Error installing sqlite3-ruby: ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension. /usr/local/bin/ruby extconf.rb checking for fdatasync() in -lrt... no checking for sqlite3.h... yes checking for sqlite3_open() in -lsqlite3... no * extconf.rb failed * Could not create Makefile due to some reason, probably lack of necessary libraries and/or headers. Check the mkmf.log file for more details. You may need configuration options. It seems like the sqlite3 libs are not working properly. I've tried to install macports sqlite3 (sudo port install sqlite3) and use that instead, but with same result... so i rebuild sqlite3 from scratch.. download-configure-make-make install. After that, the gem now builds perfectly, but doesn't work in rails, giving the error in the top of this article. I'm not really sure where to go from here because I've tried the following Rebuild sqlite3 from newest source (http://www.sqlite.org/download.html) Reinstalled sqlite3-ruby (sudo gem uninstall sqlite3-ruby && sudo gem install sqlite3-ruby) Used sqlite3 from macports (sudo port install sqlite3 && sudo gem install sqlite3-ruby) Reinstalled rails (sudo gem install rails sqlite3-ruby ) and updated environment.rb to rails 2.3.5. No avail, I still get this error: NameError: uninitialized constant SQLite3::Driver::Native::Driver::AP from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activesupport-2.3.5/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:105:in const_missing' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/sqlite3-ruby-1.2.5/lib/sqlite3/driver/native/driver.rb:76:in open' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/sqlite3-ruby-1.2.5/lib/sqlite3/database.rb:76:in `initialize' Btw, I have Xcode installed from the Snow Leopard CD. What can i do to solve the problem?

  • Build failing - VS2010 solution on TFS2008

    - by Nick
    I have migrated a VS2008 ASP.NET MVC solution to VS2010/MVC2/.NET 4.0 The solution builds locally and all unit tests pass. Our TFS server is still TFS2008 and I am having problems getting the CI build to pass. The projects all build successfully, the unit tests all run and pass but the Running Tests item fails. I followed this blog post on how to get the build working and I'm almost there. Combing the log file for failures I have found the following: Test Run Completed. Passed 1101 ------------ Total 1101 Results file: C:\Documents and Settings\apptemetrybuild\Local Settings\Temp\Client Portal 3\CI\TestResults\apptemetrybuild_ATT15DEV01 2010-04-27 09_09_59_Any CPU_Release.trx Test Settings: Default Test Settings Waiting to publish... Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this to build successfully? Many thanks, Nick

  • Asynchronous COMET query with Tornado and Prototype

    - by grundic
    Hello everyone. I'm trying to write simple web application using Tornado and JS Prototype library. So, the client can execute long running job on server. I wish, that this job runs Asynchronously - so that others clients could view page and do some stuff there. Here what i've got: #!/usr/bin/env/ pytthon import tornado.httpserver import tornado.ioloop import tornado.options import tornado.web from tornado.options import define, options import os import string from time import sleep from datetime import datetime define("port", default=8888, help="run on the given port", type=int) class MainHandler(tornado.web.RequestHandler): def get(self): self.render("templates/index.html", title="::Log watcher::", c_time=datetime.now()) class LongHandler(tornado.web.RequestHandler): @tornado.web.asynchronous def get(self): self.wait_for_smth(callback=self.async_callback(self.on_finish)) print("Exiting from async.") return def wait_for_smth(self, callback): t=0 while (t < 10): print "Sleeping 2 second, t={0}".format(t) sleep(2) t += 1 callback() def on_finish(self): print ("inside finish") self.write("Long running job complete") self.finish() def main(): tornado.options.parse_command_line() settings = { "static_path": os.path.join(os.path.dirname(__file__), "static"), } application = tornado.web.Application([ (r"/", MainHandler), (r"/longPolling", LongHandler) ], **settings ) http_server = tornado.httpserver.HTTPServer(application) http_server.listen(options.port) tornado.ioloop.IOLoop.instance().start() if __name__ == "__main__": main() This is server part. It has main view (shows little greeting, current server time and url for ajax query, that executes long running job. If you press a button, a long running job executes. And server hangs :( I can't view no pages, while this job is running. Here is template page: <html> <head> <title>{{ title }}</title> <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript" src="{{ static_url("js/prototype.js")}}"></script> <script type='text/javascript' language='JavaScript'> offset=0 last_read=0 function test(){ new Ajax.Request("http://172.22.22.22:8888/longPolling", { method:"get", asynchronous:true, onSuccess: function (transport){ alert(transport.responseText); } }) } </script> </head> <body> Current time is {{c_time}} <br> <input type="button" value="Test" onclick="test();"/> </body> </html> what am I doing wrong? How can implement long pooling, using Tornado and Prototype (or jQuery) PS: I have looked at Chat example, but it too complicated. Can't understand how it works :( PSS Download full example

  • heroku mongohq and mongoid Mongo::ConnectionFailure

    - by Ole Morten Amundsen
    I have added the mongoHQ addon for mongodb at heroku. It crashes with something like this. connect_to_master': failed to connect to any given host:port (Mongo::ConnectionFailure) The descriptions online (heroku mongohq) are more directed towards mongomapper, as I see it. I'm running ruby 1.9.1 and rails 3-beta with mongoid. My feeling says that there's something with ENV['MONGOHQ_URL'], which it says the MongoHQ addon sets, but I haven't set MONGOHQ_URL anywhere in my app. I guess the problem is in my mongoid.yml ? defaults: &defaults host: localhost development: <<: *defaults database: aliado_development test: <<: *defaults database: aliado_test # set these environment variables on your prod server production: <<: *defaults host: <%= ENV['MONGOID_HOST'] %> port: <%= ENV['MONGOID_PORT'] %> username: <%= ENV['MONGOID_USERNAME'] %> password: <%= ENV['MONGOID_PASSWORD'] %> database: <%= ENV['MONGOID_DATABASE'] %> It works fine locally, but fails at heroku, more stack trace: ==> crashlog.log <== Cannot write to outdated .bundle/environment.rb to update it /disk1/home/slugs/176479_b14df52_b875/mnt/.bundle/gems/gems/rack-1.1.0/lib/rack.rb:14: warning: already initialized constant VERSION /disk1/home/slugs/176479_b14df52_b875/mnt/.bundle/gems/gems/mongo-0.20.1/lib/mongo/connection.rb:435:in `connect_to_master': failed to connect to any given host:port (Mongo::ConnectionFailure) from /disk1/home/slugs/176479_b14df52_b875/mnt/.bundle/gems/gems/mongo-0.20.1/lib/mongo/connection.rb:112:in `initialize' from /disk1/home/slugs/176479_b14df52_b875/mnt/.bundle/gems/gems/mongoid-2.0.0.beta4 /lib/mongoid/railtie.rb:32:in `new' from /disk1/home/slugs/176479_b14df52_b875/mnt/.bundle/gems/gems/mongoid-2.0.0.beta4/lib/mongoid/railtie.rb:32:in `block (2 levels) in <class:Railtie>' from /disk1/home/slugs/176479_b14df52_b875/mnt/.bundle/gems/gems/mongoid-2.0.0.beta4/lib/mongoid.rb:110:in `configure' from /disk1/home/slugs/176479_b14df52_b875/mnt/.bundle/gems/gems/mongoid-2.0.0.beta4/lib/mongoid/railtie.rb:21:in `block in <class:Railtie>' from /disk1/home/slugs/176479_b14df52_b875/mnt/.bundle/gems/gems/railties-3.0.0.beta3/lib/rails/initializable.rb:25:in `instance_exec' ..... • oauth_verifier is not passed using DotNetOpenAuth's Webconsumer

    - by BozoJoe
    I receive back a good oauth_verifier value from the server, but it is not being passed on via the ProcessUserAuthorization call to the access_token endpoint. I'm using DotNetOpenAuth 3.3.1, and the WebConsumer implementation. The server I'm working with is using OAuth 1.0a not 1.0.1. Do I need to force DotNetOpenAuth to use 1.0a? 2010-01-16 13:19:44,343 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Channel [(null)] <(null)> - After binding element processing, the received UserAuthorizationResponse (1.0.1) message is: oauth_verifier: dEz9lE9AA1gcdr6oCbmD oauth_token: vauHNVOCITlbGCuqycWn 2010-01-16 13:19:44,346 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Channel [(null)] <(null)> - Preparing to send AuthorizedTokenRequest (1.0) message. 2010-01-16 13:19:44,346 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Bindings [(null)] <(null)> - Binding element DotNetOpenAuth.OAuth.ChannelElements.OAuthHttpMethodBindingElement applied to message. 2010-01-16 13:19:44,346 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Bindings [(null)] <(null)> - Binding element DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Bindings.StandardReplayProtectionBindingElement applied to message. 2010-01-16 13:19:44,346 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Bindings [(null)] <(null)> - Binding element DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Bindings.StandardExpirationBindingElement applied to message. 2010-01-16 13:19:44,346 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Channel [(null)] <(null)> - Applying secrets to message to prepare for signing or signature verification. 2010-01-16 13:19:44,348 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Bindings [(null)] <(null)> - Signing AuthorizedTokenRequest message using HMAC-SHA1. 2010-01-16 13:19:44,349 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Bindings [(null)] <(null)> - Constructed signature base string: GET&http%3A%2F%2Fx-staging.indivo.org%3A8000%2Foauth%2Faccess_token&oauth_consumer_key%3Doak%26oauth_nonce%3DgPersiZV%26oauth_signature_method%3DHMAC-SHA1%26oauth_timestamp%3D1263676784%26oauth_token%3DvauHNVOCITlbGCuqycWn%26oauth_version%3D1.0 2010-01-16 13:19:44,349 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Bindings [(null)] <(null)> - Binding element DotNetOpenAuth.OAuth.ChannelElements.SigningBindingElementChain applied to message. 2010-01-16 13:19:44,351 [5] INFO DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Channel [(null)] <(null)> - Prepared outgoing AuthorizedTokenRequest (1.0) message for http://x-staging.indivo.org:8000/oauth/access_token: oauth_token: vauHNVOCITlbGCuqycWn oauth_consumer_key: XXXXXXmyComsumerKeyXXXXXX oauth_nonce: gPersiZV oauth_signature_method: HMAC-SHA1 oauth_signature: xNynvr2oFlqtdoOKOl2ETiiTLGY= oauth_version: 1.0 oauth_timestamp: 1263676784 2010-01-16 13:19:44,351 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Messaging.Channel [(null)] <(null)> - Sending AuthorizedTokenRequest request. 2010-01-16 13:19:44,351 [5] DEBUG DotNetOpenAuth.Http [(null)] <(null)> - HTTP GET http://x-staging.indivo.org:8000/oauth/access_token 2010-01-16 13:20:34,657 [5] ERROR DotNetOpenAuth.Http [(null)] <(null)> - WebException from http://x-staging.indivo.org:8000/oauth/access_token: <h4>Internal Server Error</h4> A pastebin link to the log4net log

  • Android "Trying to use recycled bitmap" error?

    - by Mike
    Hi all, I am running into a problem with bitmaps on an Android application I am working on. What is suppose to happen is that the application downloads images from a website, saves them to the device, loads them into memory as bitmaps into an arraylist, and displays them to the user. This all works fine when the application is first started. However, I have added a refresh option for the user where the images are deleted, and the process outlined above starts all over. My problem: By using the refresh option the old images were still in memory and I would quickly get OutOfMemoryErrors. Thus, if the images are being refreshed, I had it run through the arraylist and recycle the old images. However, when the application goes to load the new images into the arraylist, it crashes with a "Trying to use recycled bitmap" error. As far as I understand it, recycling a bitmap destroys the bitmap and frees up its memory for other objects. If I want to use the bitmap again, it has to be reinitialized. I believe that I am doing this when the new files are loaded into the arraylist, but something is still wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated as this is very frustrating. The problem code is below. Thank you! public void fillUI(final int refresh) { // Recycle the images to avoid memory leaks if(refresh==1) { for(int x=0; x<images.size(); x++) images.get(x).recycle(); images.clear(); selImage=-1; // Reset the selected image variable } final ProgressDialog progressDialog = ProgressDialog.show(this, null, this.getString(R.string.loadingImages)); // Create the array with the image bitmaps in it new Thread(new Runnable() { public void run() { Looper.prepare(); File[] fileList = new File("/data/data/[package name]/files/").listFiles(); if(fileList!=null) { for(int x=0; x<fileList.length; x++) { try { images.add(BitmapFactory.decodeFile("/data/data/[package name]/files/" + fileList[x].getName())); } catch (OutOfMemoryError ome) { Log.i(LOG_FILE, "out of memory again :("); } } Collections.reverse(images); } fillUiHandler.sendEmptyMessage(0); } }).start(); fillUiHandler = new Handler() { public void handleMessage(Message msg) { progressDialog.dismiss(); } }; }

  • WebKit "Refused to set unsafe header "content-length"

    - by Paul
    I am trying to implement simple xhr abstraction, and am getting this warning when trying to set the headers for a POST. I think it might have something to do with setting the headers in a separate js file, because when i set them in the <script> tag in the .html file, it worked fine. The POST request is working fine, but I get this warning, and am curious why. I get this warning for both content-length and connection headers, but only in WebKit browsers (Chrome 5 beta and Safari 4). In Firefox, I don't get any warnings, the Content-Length header is set to the correct value, but the Connection is set to keep-alive instead of close, which makes me think that it is also ignoring my setRequestHeader calls and generating it's own. I have not tried this code in IE. Here is the markup & code: test.html: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <script src="jsfile.js"></script> <script> var request = new Xhr('POST', 'script.php', true, 'data=somedata', function(data) { console.log(data.text); }); </script> </head> <body> </body> </html> jsfile.js: function Xhr(method, url, async, data, callback) { var x; if(window.XMLHttpRequest) { x = new XMLHttpRequest(); x.open(method, url, async); x.onreadystatechange = function() { if(x.readyState === 4) { if(x.status === 200) { var data = { text: x.responseText, xml: x.responseXML }; callback.call(this, data); } } } if(method.toLowerCase() === "post") { x.setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"); x.setRequestHeader("Content-Length", data.length); x.setRequestHeader("Connection", "close"); } x.send(data); } else { // ... implement IE code here ... } return x; }

  • Stack overflow in compojure web project

    Hi I've been playing around with clojure and have been using it to build a simple little audio player. The strange thing is that sometimes, maybe one out of twenty, when contacting the server I will get the following error: 2010-04-20 15:33:20.963::WARN: Error for /control java.lang.StackOverflowError at clojure.lang.RT.seq(RT.java:440) at clojure.core$seq__4245.invoke(core.clj:105) at clojure.core$filter__5084$fn__5086.invoke(core.clj:1794) at clojure.lang.LazySeq.sval(LazySeq.java:42) at clojure.lang.LazySeq.seq(LazySeq.java:56) at clojure.lang.RT.seq(RT.java:440) at clojure.core$seq__4245.invoke(core.clj:105) at clojure.core$filter__5084$fn__5086.invoke(core.clj:1794) at clojure.lang.LazySeq.sval(LazySeq.java:42) at clojure.lang.LazySeq.seq(LazySeq.java:56) at clojure.lang.RT.seq(RT.java:440) at clojure.core$seq__4245.invoke(core.clj:105) at clojure.core$filter__5084$fn__5086.invoke(core.clj:1794) at clojure.lang.LazySeq.sval(LazySeq.java:42) at clojure.lang.LazySeq.seq(LazySeq.java:56) at clojure.lang.RT.seq(RT.java:440) at clojure.core$seq__4245.invoke(core.clj:105) at clojure.core$filter__5084$fn__5086.invoke(core.clj:1794) at clojure.lang.LazySeq.sval(LazySeq.java:42) at clojure.lang.LazySeq.seq(LazySeq.java:56) at clojure.lang.RT.seq(RT.java:440) ... If I do it right after again it always works. So it appears to be related to timing or something. The code in question is: (defn add-track [t] (common/ref-add tracks t)) (defn add-collection [coll] (doseq [track coll] (add-track track))) and (defn ref-add [ref value] (dosync (ref-set ref (conj @ref value)))) where coll is extracted from this function: (defn tracks-by-album [album] (sort sort-tracks (filter #(= (:album %) album) @tracks))) which uses: (defn get-album-from-track [track] (seq/find-first #(= (:album track) (:name %)) @albums)) (defn sort-tracks [track1 track2] (cond (= (:album track1) (:album track2)) (cond (and (:album-track track1) (:album-track track2)) (< (:album-track track1) (:album-track track2)) :else 0) :else (> (:year (get-album-from-track track1)) (:year (get-album-from-track track2))))) it gets called more or less directly from the request I get in: (when-handle-command cmd params (audio/tracks-by-album decoded-name)) (defn when-handle-command [cmd params data] (println (str "handling command:" cmd)) ....) I never get the handling command in my log, so it must die when it does the tracks-by-album. so it does appear to be the tracks-by-album function from the stack trace. I just don't see why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I say that it's tracks-by-album because it's the only function (including it's children) that does filter, as can be seen in the trace. All the source code is available at: http://code.google.com/p/mucomp/. It's my little hobby project to learn clojure and so far it's quite buggy (this is just one bug :)) so I havn't really liked to tell too many people about it yet :)

  • sharepoint search is not working

    - by Nikkho
    Hi all, I have an issue with SharePoint search. The situation The server is installed with SharePoint on a farm with 2 servers. A new app pool is created and that app pool is using a domain account called moss_service. moss_service is set to be in the administrator group in both server. moss_service is also set to be the db_creator in the content database. When I checked it initially, the search's default content access account is using another different account, I changed that to be using moss_service account. I didn't do IIS reset because this is a production server, they dont want frequent iis reset. Strangely, checking the services.msc under "office sharepoint server search" the account is still using an old one. (and apparently it's only running on 1 server, the other server is not running) I then change that to the following: domain\moss_service with the password. and then I rerun the crawl. How do I diagnose the issue Basically everytime I change something I restart the crawl and then check the event viewer. Multiple things come out but the following is the major ones: The start address cannot be crawled. The password for the content access account cannot be decrypted because it was stored with different credentials. Re-type the password for the account used to crawl this content. (0x80042406) Performance monitoring cannot be initialized for the gatherer object, because the counters are not loaded or the shared memory object cannot be opened. This only affects availability of the perfmon counters. Restart the computer. Access is denied. Check that the Default Content Access Account has access to this content, or add a crawl rule to crawl this content. (0x80041205) Crawl Logs Result The crawl log is showing this: The password for the content access account cannot be decrypted because it was stored with different credentials. Re-type the password for the account used to crawl this content. I tried changing it again at service.mstsc and the rerun the full crawl again but then it doesn't work. I have tried entering it using the following way: [email protected] and domain\moss_service My Questions are: How do I fix this? Is this the right way to setup the search? Does the search account has to be using a different domain account? Seemed like one fix complicates the other, how do I set this right? Is it worth it to upgrade to sp2?

  • annotationView didChangeDragState being fired multiple times

    - by RodH257
    I've got a draggable annotation in IOS4 mapkit, and I'm trying to call an event when the annotation is dragged to a new position. my code currently looks like: - (void)mapView:(MKMapView *)mapView annotationView:(MKAnnotationView *)annotationView didChangeDragState:(MKAnnotationViewDragState)newState fromOldState:(MKAnnotationViewDragState)oldState { if (newState == MKAnnotationViewDragStateEnding) { CLLocationCoordinate2D droppedAt = annotationView.annotation.coordinate; NSLog(@"dropped at %f,%f", droppedAt.latitude, droppedAt.longitude); //update the annotation //see if its an information annotation if ([annotationView.annotation isKindOfClass:[InfoAnnotation class]]) { NSLog(@"Info annotation updating.."); InfoAnnotation* userAnnotation = ((InfoAnnotation *)annotationView.annotation); [userAnnotation updateLocationWithServerForConvoy: self.title]; } } } the code simply logs the update and then tells the annotation to send its update to my server, which is a custom method. This method seems to be getting fired multiple times, see the log here: 2011-06-15 01:12:39.347 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.340206,-122.027550 2011-06-15 01:12:39.347 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:39.658 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.340206,-122.027550 2011-06-15 01:12:39.659 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:39.957 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.340206,-122.027550 2011-06-15 01:12:39.958 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:43.415 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.339251,-122.026691 2011-06-15 01:12:43.416 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:43.713 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.339251,-122.026691 2011-06-15 01:12:43.713 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:44.006 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.339251,-122.026691 2011-06-15 01:12:44.006 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:44.297 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.339251,-122.026691 2011-06-15 01:12:44.297 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:54.825 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:54.825 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:55.150 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:55.150 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:55.475 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:55.476 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:55.771 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:55.772 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:56.070 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:56.070 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating..     hi all i am developing an application which uses sqlite db for storing records. I am developing this application on SDK 1.5.. when i test the application on 1.5 device it works good but when i try to run it on a 1.6 device i get a force close message with following logcat output: 03-19 09:31:35.206: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): Uncaught handler: thread main exiting due to uncaught exception 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.abc.android/com.abc.android.app}: android.database.sqlite.SQLiteException: unable to open database file 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.app.ActivityThread.performLaunchActivity(ActivityThread.java:2454) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.app.ActivityThread.handleLaunchActivity(ActivityThread.java:2470) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.app.ActivityThread.access$2200(ActivityThread.java:119) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.app.ActivityThread$H.handleMessage(ActivityThread.java:1821) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:99) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:123) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.app.ActivityThread.main(ActivityThread.java:4310) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invokeNative(Native Method) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:521) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run(ZygoteInit.java:860) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main(ZygoteInit.java:618) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at dalvik.system.NativeStart.main(Native Method) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): Caused by: android.database.sqlite.SQLiteException: unable to open database file 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.dbopen(Native Method) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.(SQLiteDatabase.java:1697) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.openDatabase(SQLiteDatabase.java:738) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.openOrCreateDatabase(SQLiteDatabase.java:760) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.openOrCreateDatabase(SQLiteDatabase.java:753) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.app.ApplicationContext.openOrCreateDatabase(ApplicationContext.java:473) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.content.ContextWrapper.openOrCreateDatabase(ContextWrapper.java:193) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteOpenHelper.getWritableDatabase(SQLiteOpenHelper.java:98) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at com.abc.android.DbAdapter.open(DbAdapter.java:101) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at com.abc.android.class1.onCreate(class1.java:105) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.app.Instrumentation.callActivityOnCreate(Instrumentation.java:1047) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): at android.app.ActivityThread.performLaunchActivity(ActivityThread.java:2417) 03-19 09:31:35.226: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(224): ... 11 more DBAdapter.java public DbAdapter open() throws SQLException { Log.d("DbAdapter", "in DbAdapter open()"); mDbHelper = new DatabaseHelper(mCtx); mDb = mDbHelper.getWritableDatabase(); // line 101 return this; } DatabaseHelper(Context context) { super(context, DATABASE_NAME, null, DATABASE_VERSION); } @Override public void onCreate(SQLiteDatabase db) { db.execSQL(DATABASE_QUERY); } class1.java mDB = new DbAdapter(Class1.this); mDB.open(); // line 105 Please help..what do i do????

  • Memory leak on CollectionView.View.Refresh

    - by Dabblernl
    I have defined my binding thus: <TreeView ItemsSource="{Binding UsersView.View}" ItemTemplate="{StaticResource MyDataTemplate}" /> The CollectionViewSource is defined thus: private ObservableCollection<UserData> users; public CollectionViewSource UsersView{get;set;} UsersView=new CollectionViewSource{Source=users}; UsersView.SortDescriptions.Add( new SortDescription("IsLoggedOn",ListSortDirection.Descending); UsersView.SortDescriptions.Add( new SortDescription("Username",ListSortDirection.Ascending); So far, so good, this works as expected: The view shows first the users that are logged on in alphabetical order, then the ones that are not. However, the IsLoggedIn property of the UserData is updated every few seconds by a backgroundworker thread and then the code calls: UsersView.View.Refresh(); on the UI thread. Again this works as expected: users that log on are moved from the bottom of the view to the top and vice versa. However: Every time I call the Refresh method on the view the application hoards 3,5MB of extra memory, which is only released after application shutdown (or after an OutOfMemoryException...) I did some research and below is a list of fixes that did NOT work: The UserData class implements INotifyPropertyChanged Changing the underlying users collection does not make any difference at all: any IENumerable<UserData as a source for the CollectionViewSource causes the problem. -Changing the ColletionViewSource to a List<UserData (and refreshing the binding) or inheriting from ObservableCollection to get access to the underlying Items collection to sort that in place does not work. I am out of ideas! Help? EDIT: I found it: The Resource MyDataTemplate contains a Label that is bound to a UserData object to show one of its properties, the UserData objects being handed down by the TreeView's ItemsSource. The Label has a ContextMenu defined thus: <ContextMenu Background="Transparent" Width="325" Opacity=".8" HasDropShadow="True"> <PrivateMessengerUI:MyUserData IsReadOnly="True" > <PrivateMessengerUI:MyUserData.DataContext> <Binding Path="."/> </PrivateMessengerUI:MyUserData.DataContext> </PrivateMessengerUI:MyUserData> </ContextMenu> The MyUserData object is a UserControl that shows All properties of the UserData object. In this way the user first only sees one piece of data of a user and on a right click sees all of it. When I remove the MyUserData UserControl from the DataTemplate the memory leak disappears! How can I still implement the behaviour as specified above?

  • ReportBuilder.application fails on my PC - but works on localhost

Here's the situation: I can run Report Builder from localhost My coworker can run Report Builder on his Vista computer Another coworker can run Report Builder on his XP SP3 computer (IE7) I can NOT run Report Builder on my XP SP3 computer (IE7) I'm told that it could be anything from an errant registry entry to a group policy problem. • Unable to rename file with c# ftp methods when current user directory is different from root

    - by Agata
    Hello everyone, Remark: due to spam prevention mechanizm I was forced to replace the beginning of the Uris from ftp:// to ftp. I've got following problem. I have to upload file with C# ftp method and afterwards rename it. Easy, right? :) Ok, let's say my ftp host is like this: ftp.contoso.com and after logging in, current directory is set to: users/name So, what I'm trying to achieve is to log in, upload file to current directory as file.ext.tmp and after upload is successful, rename the file to file.ext The whole difficulty is, as I guess, to properly set the request Uri for FtpWebRequest. MSDN states: The URI may be relative or absolute. If the URI is of the form "ftp://contoso.com/%2fpath" (%2f is an escaped '/'), then the URI is absolute, and the current directory is /path. If, however, the URI is of the form "ftp://contoso.com/path", first the .NET Framework logs into the FTP server (using the user name and password set by the Credentials property), then the current directory is set to UserLoginDirectory/path. Ok, so I upload file with the following URI: ftp.contoso.com/file.ext.tmp Great, the file lands where I wanted it to be: in directory "users/name" Now, I want to rename the file, so I create web request with following Uri: ftp.contoso.com/file.ext.tmp and specify rename to parameter as: file.ext and this gives me 550 error: file not found, no permissions, etc. I traced this in Microsoft Network Monitor and it gave me: Command: RNFR, Rename from CommandParameter: /file.ext.tmp Ftp: Response to Port 53724, '550 File /file.ext.tmp not found' as if it was looking for the file in the root directory - not in the current directory. I renamed the file manually using Total Commander and the only difference was that CommandParameter was without the first slash: CommandParameter: file.ext.tmp I'm able to successfully rename the file by supplying following absolute URI: ftp.contoso.com/%2fusers/%2fname/file.ext.tmp but I don't like this approach, since I would have to know the name of current user's directory. It can probably be done by using WebRequestMethods.Ftp.PrintWorkingDirectory, but it adds extra complexity (calling this method to retrieve directory name, then combining the paths to form proper URI). What I don't understand is why the URI ftp.contoso.com/file.ext.tmp is good for upload and not for rename? Am I missing something here? The project is set to .NET 4.0, coded in Visual Studio 2010.

  • Log4r : logger inheritance, yaml configuration, alternatives ?

    - by devlearn
    Hello, I'm pretty new to ruby environments and I was looking for a nice logging framework to use it my ruby and rails applications. In my previous experiences I have successfully used log4j and log4p (the perl port) and was expecting the same level of usability (and maturity) with log4r. However I must say that there are a number of things that are not clear at all in the log4r framework. 1 Logger Inheritance The logger inheritance does not seem to be managed at all ! If I declare a logger named 'myapp' and then try to get a logger name 'myapp::engine', the lookup will end with a NameError. I would expect that the framework returns the root logger according to the naming scheme and to use the 'myapp' logger. Q1 : Of course I can work around this and manage the names by myself with a lookup method, however is there a cleaner way to do this without any extra coding ? 2 YAML configuration Second thing that confuses me is the yaml configuration. On the log4r site there are literally no information about this system, the doc links forward to missing pages, so all the info I can find about is contained in the examples directory of the gem. I was pretty confused with the fact that the yaml configuration must contain the pre_config section, and that I need to define my own levels. If I remove the pre_config secion, or replace all the “custom” levels by the standard ones ( debug, info, warn, fatal ) , the example will throw the following error : log4r/yamlconfigurator.rb:68:in `decode_yaml': Log level must be in 0..7 (ArgumentError) So there seems to be no way of using a simple file where we only declare the loggers and appenders for the framework. Q2 : I realy think that I missed something and that must be a way of providing a simple yaml conf file. Do you have any examples of such an usage ? 3 Variables substitution in XML file Q3 : The Yaml configuration system seems to provide such a feature however I was unable to find a similar feature with XML files. Any ideas ? 4 Alternatives ? I must say that I'm very disappointed by the feature level and the maturity of log4r compared to the log4j and other log4j ports. I run into this framework with a solid background of logging APIs in other languages and find myself working around in all kinds just to make 'basic things' running in a “real world application”. By that I mean a complex application composed of several gems, console/scripting apps, and a rails web front end where the configuration must be mutualized and where we make intensive usage of namespaces and inheritance. I've run several searches in order to find something more suitable or mature, but did not find anything similar. Q4 : Do you guys know any (serious) alternatives to log4r framework that could be used in a enterprise class app ? Thanks reading all of this ! I'd really appreciate any pointers, Kind Regards,

  • Flash Builder missing fundamental things

    - by Bart van Heukelom
    All of a sudden Flash Builder 4 is missing all kinds of fundamental things and is generating incorrect errors. I've had the same issue yesterday, where I fixed it by downloading a new Flex SDK and importing that into FB. I did this again, but this time it fixed nothing. I don't think it's something I did, like removing critical references from the build path. The errors also appeared on projects I was not working on at the time. It occurs for ActionScript, Flex and Flex Library projects alike. • realtime logging

    - by Ion Todirel
    I have an application which has a loop, part of a "Scheduler", which runs at all time and is the heart of the application. Pretty much like a game loop, just that my application is a WPF application and it's not a game. Naturally the application does logging at many points, but the Scheduler does some sensitive monitoring, and sometimes it's impossible just from the logs to tell what may have gotten wrong (and by wrong I don't mean exceptions) or the current status. Because Scheduler's inner loop runs at short intervals, you can't do file I/O-based logging (or using the Event Viewer) in there. First, you need to watch it in real-time, and secondly the log file would grow in size very fast. So I was thinking of ways to show this data to the user in the realtime, some things I considered: Display the data in realtime in the UI Use AllocConsole/WriteConsole to display this information in a console Use a different console application which would display this information, communicate between the Scheduler and the console app using pipes or other IPC techniques Use Windows' Performance Monitor and somehow feed it with this information ETW Displaying in the UI would have its issues. First it doesn't integrate with the UI I had in mind for my application, and I don't want to complicate the UI just for this. This diagnostics would only happen rarely. Secondly, there is going to be some non-trivial data protection, as the Scheduler has it's own thread. A separate console window would work probably, but I'm still worried if it's not too much threshold. Allocating my own console, as this is a windows app, would probably be better than a different console application (3), as I don't need to worry about IPC communication, and non-blocking communication. However a user could close the console I allocated, and it would be problematic in that case. With a separate process you don't have to worry about it. Assuming there is an API for Performance Monitor, it wouldn't be integrated too well with my app or apparent to the users. Using ETW also doesn't solve anything, just a random idea, I still need to display this information somehow. What others think, would there be other ways I missed?

  • Getting authentication token after a HttpSendRequest

    - by Jessica
    The following code will log in my application to a server. That server will return an authentication token if the login is successful. I need to use that token to query the server for information. egressMsg := pchar('email='+LabeledEdit1.text+'&&password='+MaskEdit1.Text+#0); egressMsg64 := pchar(Encode64(egressMsg)); Reserved := 0; // open connection hInternetConn := InternetOpen('MyApp', INTERNET_OPEN_TYPE_PRECONFIG, NIL, NIL, 0); if hInternetConn = NIL then begin ShowMessage('Error opening internet connection'); exit; end; // connect hHttpSession := InternetConnect(hInternetConn, 'myserver.com', INTERNET_DEFAULT_HTTP_PORT, '', '', INTERNET_SERVICE_HTTP, 0, 0); if hHttpSession = NIL then begin ShowMessage('Error connecting'); exit; end; // send request hHttpRequest := HttpOpenRequest(hHttpSession, 'POST', '/myapp/login', NIL, NIL, NIL, 0, 0); if hHttpRequest = NIL then begin ShowMessage('Error opening request'); exit; end; label2.caption := egressMsg64 + ' '+inttostr(length(egressMsg64)); res := HttpSendRequest(hHttpRequest, Nil, DWORD(-1), egressMsg64, length(egressMsg64)); if not res then begin ShowMessage('Error sending request ' + inttostr(GetLastError)); exit; end; BufferSize := Length(infoBuffer); res := HttpQueryInfo(hHttpRequest, HTTP_QUERY_STATUS_CODE, @infoBuffer, BufferSize, Reserved); if not res then begin ShowMessage('Error querrying request ' + inttostr(GetLastError)); exit; end; reply := infoBuffer; Memo1.Lines.Add(reply); if reply <> '200' then begin //error here end; // how to I get the token here!!!! InternetCloseHandle(hHttpRequest); InternetCloseHandle(hHttpSession); InternetCloseHandle(hInternetConn); How do I get that token? I tried querying the cookie, I tried InternetGetCookie() and a lot more. Code is appreciated Thanks jess EDIT I found that if you use InternetReadFile you can get that token. However that token comes out as an array of bytes. It's hard to use it later to send it to the server... anyone knows how to convert an array of bytes to pchar or string?

  • ASP.NET Web Service Throws 401 (unauthorized) Error

    - by user268611
    Hi Experts, I have this .NET application to be run in an intranet environment. It is configured so that it requires Windows Authentication before you can access the website (Anonymous access is disabled). This website calls a web service (enable anonymous access) and the web service calls the DB. We do have a token-based authentication between the web application and the web service to secure the communication between them. The issue I'm facing is that when I deploy this to production, I'm having an intermittent issue whereby the communication between the web application and the web service failed. The 401 issue was thrown. This is actually working fine in our QA environment. Is this an issue with Active Directory? Or could it be an isssue with FQDN as mentioned here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;896861? The weirdest thing is that this is happening intermittently when tested in both on the server itself and a remote workstation in my client's environment. But, this is working perfectly in my environment. OS: Windows Server SP1 IIS 6 .NET 3.5 Framework Any idea about the 401 (Unauthorized) issue?? Thx for the help... This is from the log... • OCR an RSA key fob (security token)

    - by user130582
    I put together a quick WinForm/embedded IE browser control which logs into our company's bank website each morning and scrapes/exports the desired deposit information (the bank is a smallish regional bank). Since we have a few dozen "pseudoaccounts" that draw from the same master account, this actually takes 10-15 minutes to retrieve. Anyway, the only problem is that our business bank account reuires an RSA security token (http://www.rsa.com/node.aspx?id=1156)--if you are not familiar, it is a small device which shows a random 6 digit number every 15(?) seconds, so I have to prompt for this value before starting. This is on top of the website's login based security model, so even if you create a read-only account that can't do anything, you still have to put the RSA number in. We have 5 of these tokens for different people in the company. From our perspective this is nusiance security. I was joking about using a web camera to OCR the digits from the key fob so they didn't have to type it in -- mainly so that the scraping/export would be done before anyone arrives in the morning. Well, they asked if I could really do it. So now I ask you, how hard (how many hours) do you think it would take to OCR these digits reliably from a JPEG image produced by the camera? I already know I can get the JPEG easily. I think you get 3 tries to log in, so it really needs to hit a 99% accuracy rate. I could work on this on my off time, but they don't want me to put more than a few hours into it, so I want to leverage as much existing code as possible. This is a 7-segment display (like an alarm clock) so it's not exactly text that an OCR package would be used to seeing. Also--there is a countdown timer on the side of the display; typically when it is down to 1 bar, you wait until the next number appears and it starts over at 5 bars (like signal strength on your cell phone). So this would need to be OCRd as well but it is not text. Anyway the more I think about it as I type this, the less convinced I am that I can truly get this right, so maybe I should just work on it in my spare time?

  • Magento My Account Layout XML Problem

    - by Remy
    Hi there, I'm having issues getting the customer.xml layout file to work properly for the customer's "my account" pages. The navigation links and the previously ordered items that are usually on the left hand side of the page won't show up on the page, but if I change the reference name to "content" in the xml file, it shows up (except it's obviously then on the right hand side). I've checked the template it's referencing (2columns-left.phtml), and the getChildHtml('left') is there in the correct position. The block that's causing the problem: <customer_account> <!-- Mage_Customer --> <reference name="root"> <action method="setTemplate"><template>page/2columns-left.phtml</template></action> </reference> <reference name="left"> <action method="unsetChild"><name>catalog.navigation.all</name></action> <action method="unsetChild"><name>callout.sendcard</name></action> <action method="unsetChild"><name>callout.specialorder</name></action> <block type="customer/account_navigation" name="customer_account_navigation" before="-" template="customer/account/navigation.phtml"> <action method="addLink" translate="label" module="customer"><name>account</name><path>customer/account/</path><label>Account Dashboard</label></action> <action method="addLink" translate="label" module="customer"><name>account_edit</name><path>customer/account/edit/</path><label>Account Information</label></action> <action method="addLink" translate="label" module="customer"><name>address_book</name><path>customer/address/</path><label>Address Book</label></action> </block> <block type="sales/reorder_sidebar" name="sale.reorder.sidebar" as="reorder" template="sales/reorder/sidebar.phtml"/> <remove name="tags_popular"/> </reference> </customer_account> This was basically copied straight over from another one of our sites where this works 100%. I've tried everything I can think of (changing the name of the reference in both the template and the layout xml, for example) to no avail. The templates that the layout is referencing are obviously working because they do show up when put into the "content" area. This installation of magento is version 1.3.1.1. I appreciate any advice you have to give me... *Update: I tried changing the reference to "global_messages", and it doesn't show there either. It only seems to work in the "content" section.* Update 2: These are the results of using the "showLayout=page" query string on the page when used with Alan Storm's very handy debugging module (which you'll find in his answer below). <?xml version="1.0"?> <layout><block type="page/html" name="root" output="toHtml" template="page/3columns.phtml"> <block type="page/html_head" name="head" as="head"> • android spinning image

    - by user270811
    hi, i am trying to create two spinning wheels, as in pulleys, so everytime the attached rope moves, the two pulleys will rotate. i have tried two approaches: 1) use Matrix.postRotate within the onDraw() method of the View class, which calls the following: private void drawSpinningWheel(Canvas canvas) { try { canvas.save(); Bitmap bitmapOrg = null; int iDrawable = R.drawable.spinning_button; bitmapOrg = BitmapFactory.decodeResource(getResources(), iDrawable); if(bitmapOrg != null) { int width = bitmapOrg.getWidth(); int height = bitmapOrg.getHeight(); int newWidth = 24; int newHeight = 24; // calculate the scale - in this case = 0.4f float scaleWidth = ((float) newWidth) / width; float scaleHeight = ((float) newHeight) / height; // createa matrix for the manipulation Matrix matrix = new Matrix(); // resize the bit map matrix.postScale(scaleWidth, scaleHeight); matrix.postRotate((float) mDegrees++); Bitmap resizedBitmap = Bitmap.createBitmap(bitmapOrg, 0, 0, width, height, matrix, true); canvas.drawBitmap(resizedBitmap, matrix, null); } canvas.restore(); } catch(Exception e) { Log.e(TAG + "drawSpinningWheel", e.getMessage()); } } but it seems like the image not only spins but rotates around another axis 2) use SurfaceView and a separate thread, in the run() call this: private void doDraw(Canvas canvas) { // Draw the background image. Operations on the Canvas accumulate // so this is like clearing the screen. canvas.drawBitmap(mBackgroundImage, 0, 0, null); int yTop = mCanvasHeight - ((int) mY + mSpinningWheelImageHeight / 2); int xLeft = (int) mX - mSpinningWheelImageWidth / 2; ... // Draw the ship with its current rotation canvas.save(); canvas.rotate((float) mHeading++, (float) mX, mCanvasHeight - (float) mY); mSpinningWheelImage.setBounds(xLeft, yTop, xLeft + mSpinningWheelImageWidth, yTop + mSpinningWheelImageHeight); mSpinningWheelImage.draw(canvas); canvas.restore(); } i get the spinning to work but i can't add another spinning wheel. i even tried to create another thread for the second spinning wheel, only one shows up. can someone point me in the right direction? thanks.
