  • flash as2: how can i create custom event with parameters ?

    Hiya. I would like to be able to create custom event with parameters and to dispatch them when needed. in as3 i can create a class that extends flash.events.Event, add parameters to it's constructor and then use addEventListener and dispatchEvent where required. how can I do so in ActionScript 2 ? thanks!

  • User control disapear when added to a Panel

    I've got a user control class that works fine, drawing, events firing and the works. When i programmaticly add it to a class that extends from Panel it disapears. I've checked around and the line that makes it disapear is the line where i go panel.Controls.Add(myuserControl). Without that line the control works just fine, does anybody know why it won't show after the add? I'm currently doing the painting of the user control by overriding OnPaint, but the panel is using the default painting.

  • Hide jquery dialog on asp.net postback

    I feel like this is a stupid questions, but I am finding it hard to get this answered. I only want to show the jquery dialog when the page first renders. After the page renders there are multiple operations that cause the page to postback, but the user doesn't navigate away from that page. How do I disallow the jquery dialog from showing on those postback events. Thanks in advance!

    Hi All, I want to know if I can find/reach UI components of running application under Android OS. it is possible to catch the Button/DDL/.. that was clicked by the user in real-time, example from other subject(web): In browser I can listen to the events and catch the DOM object that was clicked, in this way I can save the DOM object data. catching UI components that was changed by the user will give the option to save UI componentdata, and to perform the user actions automatic.     I am trying to execute a query in oracle db. When i try to run thru SQLTools the query is executing in 2 seconds and when i run the same query thru JAVA it is exectuting in more than a minute. I am using a hint /*+ordered use_nl (a, b)*/ I am using ojdbc6.jar Is it because of any JARS? Please help whats causing this?

  • Different Assembly Name for Each Platform Target

    I need to generate different assembly names depending on the platform target. For example, I have a console application "bob.exe". Instead of building for AnyCPU, I need to build explicitly for x86 and x64 and thus want "bob32.exe" and "bob64.exe". The Application tab in Visual Studio 2010 project options disables the Platform combobox. Build Events also don't allow options per platform so I can't rename it afterwards very easily.

    Why did Sun (now owned by Oracle, I know) develop the Java Plaform? How does it make business sense? It seems to me like it would be a very expensive project (also, any ideas on how much they spent/are spending to develop/maintain the platform?). Are they making money by selling support or something?
