When a user clicks on any of the submits, I need to pass back its corresponding @car.CarType for that specific hyperlink Not sure how to go about this.   • Display Outlook rooms occupancy in a web page

    Hi everybody, I'm decommissioning a meeting room scheduling [web] tool in favor of the same Outlook's functionality. I'd like, however, to publish (read-only) a "Group Schedule" view in a web page. To make the idea more clear: On Outlook's Calendar view, select Actions / View Group Schedules and then create a new group for say, Conference Rooms. This new view will give a global view of Conference Rooms occupancy. I need a way to publish this room's occupancy. Any idea or suggestion? Thanks in advance

  • MVC and Checkboxes...leaves a bit to be desired

    Here is my problem. I have a list of models that are displayed to the user. On the left is a checkbox for each model to indicate that the user wants to choose this model (in this case, we're building products a user can add to their shopping cart). The model has no concept of being chosen...it strictly has information about the product in question. I've talked with a few other developers after having gone through and the best I could come up with is getting the formcollection and string parsing the key values to determine whether the checkbox is checked or not. This doesn't seem ideal. I was thinking there would be something more strongly bound, but I can't figure out a way to do it. I tried creating another model that had a boolean property to represent being checked and a property of the model and passing a list of that model type to the view and creating a ActionResult on the controller that accepts a list of the new model / checked property, but it comes back null. Am I just thinking too much like web forms and should just continue on with parsing checkbox values?

    I am working on an MVC 5 App that pulls data from Dynamics CRM 5. The Data I am getting back is an IQueryable of type Account (The CRM Entity class auto generated by CrmSvcUtil). I am retrieving all of the items and can loop through them with code like this: @foreach (var item in Model.ToList()) { <tr> <td> @item.AccountId </td> <td> @Html.DisplayFor(modelItem => item.Name) </td> </tr> } The problem is, I would like to instead put them in a drop down list. I can't figure out what the syntax is to put these in a DropDown is. Any suggestions?

    Hi, My web page will get a set of results from the database and display it to the user. However I am not sure about "number" of results. Each result will have a panel which contains several controls in itself, an image, several labels, etc. What is the best way to do this dynamically, eg. create these controls dynamically? Is it better to use an AJAX control? Should I use Gridview? Thanks for the help, Behrouz

Uggggghhh how to resolve this?
