  • how can I prevent my SESSION to be overwritten on pageLoad of my MasterPage

    I'm new to asp world, and I have to keep my new job :) Switching form php to asp.net 3.5 (never used before). What would be the best practice for storing a SESSION variable in my project ? How can I prevent my SESSION to be overwritten if my initialisation code is in the onPageLoad method of my MasterPage ? My variables keeps beeing overwritten, please someone help me and tell me if there is any other solution than dealing with this pageLoad problem. Thank you all

  • SQL Joins on varchar fields timing out

    Hi, I have a join which deletes rows that match another table but the joining fields have to be a large varchar (250 chars). I know this isn't ideal but I can't think of a better way. Here's my query: DELETE P FROM dbo.FeedPhotos AS P INNER JOIN dbo.ListingPhotos AS P1 ON P.photo = P1.feedImage INNER JOIN dbo.Listings AS L ON P.accountID = L.accountID WHERE P.feedID = @feedID This query is constantly timing out even though there are less than 1000 rows in the ListingPhotos table. Any help would be appreciated.

But I don't understand why I can't see php5-cgi process [ top ] Looks like apache run php5-cgi for each request, but processes should be already run. Could you help me to find the problem?

    Hi, I have run into a problem where I am removing a component and adding another one. I have set addedEffect and removedEffect for corresponding component. But the addedEffect starts before the removedEffect completes. How can i make them in order ?? I am doing this in actionscript.So, in this case i'm not using state and transition. Several people who were implementing the algorithm have posted on this site, so maybe they could help? I also noticed that quite a number of NTRU implementations have been written at universities, so it would seem strange that sources, or at least sample code, are so hard to come by. Thanks!

    Hi, We have a created a subsite to the SharePoint 2010 Mysite (used blank site) called "home". This site uses the mysite.master master page. The problem is the top link (navigation) bar from MySite is not showing up on the subsite... Any ideas? If I open the home site in Share Point Designer - the navigation bar does show up... But not in the browser... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Terry
