    I'd like to access the stage of the main timeline from w/i a class that extends a movieclip. Basically, I have a button in the main timeline that makes a HUD appear. The HUD is an extended MovieClip class. When people click on a button in the HUD, I'd like to remove the object from the stage of the main MovieClip.

    When should it be considered dangerous to use a private field all over the place in the methods of your class? I mostly just create the variable and set it to a default value like null. So it looks like even though I'm not using threaded classes my objects will be heavier because of that?     Hey all, i use some code for inline cell editing from Apples TaggedLocations Example and im now stuck. At the demo Code they save the changes at textFieldDidEndEditing, this works because they asume to edit only the first element in a table view. I have to edit every row at the table view, so my problem is how to get indexPath.row to update the correct object stored in a mutableArray. Or did i miss something? Thanks for your help!
