    I have fileA.php on SERVER_A and fileB.php on SERVER_B fileB.php makes a curl request to fileA.php for it's contents How can fileA.php determine that the request is coming specifically from fileB.php? -- I was thinking about sending the $_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'] in fileB.php to fileA.php but since someone can go into fileB.php or any file in general and just do $_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'] = 'fileB.php'; it's not really that secure. So how can I determine, for security reasons, that the request is coming from a specific file on a different server?

    My intention is to read every elements in the 2nd column into a buffer[] from the following .txt file: 9992891234 09.920 15.771 11.909 9992345971 07.892 12.234 09.234 9992348971 64.567 70.456 50.987 9992348231 89.234 85.890 58.982 I have know of a way to do it by using fscanf(): for (int i=0;i<4;i++) { fscanf(pFile, "%lld", &junk); fscanf(pFile, "%f", &buffer[i]); fscanf(pFile, "%f", &junk); fscanf(pFile, "%f", &junk); } However, since I'm doing parallel programing which requires me to use different Windows Threads to read different columns, so I'll need to read the elements in the 2nd column directly using fseek().     I am building a shared library on Ubuntu 9.10. I want to export only a subset of my functions from the library. On the Windows platform, this would be done using a module definition ( .def) file which would contain a list of the external and internal names of the functions exported from the library. I have the following questions: How can I restrict the exported functions of a shared library to those I want (i.e. a .def file equivalent) Using .def files as an example, you can give a function an external name that is different from its internal name (useful for prevent name collisions and also redecorating mangled names etc) On windows I can use the EXPORT command (IIRC) to check the list of exported functions and addresses, what is the equivalent way to do this on Linux?

  • In cygwin, why is there a lingering file filename.zip in a directory after running rm filename.zip?

    In cygwin in windows vista, I tried to remove a few zip files I created from the command line in cygwin. The rm finished without complaining, but there remains entries for these zip files in the directory, that cannot be opened or deleted, either in cygwin or vista. For example, ls -l shows the following after performing the rm: $ ls -l ls: cannot access submission.zip: No such file or directory ls: cannot access otherfile.zip: No such file or directory total 36 ??????????? ? ? ? ? ? submission.zip -rwx------ 1 username None 68 May 4 13:36 makefile ??????????? ? ? ? ? ? otherfile.zip ... What's causing this, and how can I fix it?

    I have a configuration file that has entries for various devices, with each entry separated by a blank line. I need to search the file for all instances of a given device type, and count the number of non-blank lines following the occurrence, stopping at the first blank. For example: Server=foo config line 1 config line 2 config line 3 Server=bar config line 1 config line 2 Server=foo config line 1 If I wanted to know how many total "config lines" were associated with server "foo", I should get four. Can you please help?

  • How to run a .class file in Windows 7 OS?

    Hi, This is probably a stupid question, but how do I run a class file on windows 7? I usually create my own .java files and then use a basic IDE (with JDK6) to compile it to a class and run it automatically. My professor gave a .class file that we are supposed to play with extensively but I have no idea how to to run it here. Note that I cannot run it by typing: java classname.class because it contains gui stuff especially buttons and such. If I do the above I get the following error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Test1/2/class Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Test1.2.class at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(Unknown Source) Could not find the main class: Test1.2.class.   • Can you use Javascript to detect a file download window created server side?

    I have a jQuery plugin I use to dynamically create and render a form on a default.aspx asp.net page, then submit it. The page it gets submitted to is a pdf.aspx page. The page builds a PDF then uses Response.Write to write the file (application/pdf) to the browser. I use the same method to render XLSX files to the browser as well. It works really great, but I need a callback or some event to tell the button when to stop spinning. This prevents the user from continuously clicking the Excel or PDF buttons. Does anyone know a way to detect the file dialog window when it was not created using javascript? I am also open to other methods of callback from the server side as well.

  • Why does SQLite say it can't read SQL from a file?

    Hi all. I have a bunch of SQL in a file, which creates the tables and so forth. The problem is that the .read command simply returns "can't open xxx" when I try to execute it. I've set the permissions to everybody read/write, but that didn't help. I can cat the file from the command line and see it fine. This is under Mac OS 10.6.3. Anybody have any idea here? Thanks!

    Using Vim, I'm trying to pipe visually selected text to a UNIX command and have the output appended to the end of the current file. For example, say we have a SQL command such as: SELECT * FROM mytable; I want to do something like the following: V # select text :'<,'!mysql -uuser -ppass mydb But instead of having the output overwrite the currently selected text, I would like to have the output appended to the end of the file. You probably see where this is going. I'm working on using VIM as a simple SQL editor. That way, I don't have to leave VIM to edit, tweak, test SQL code. Thanks!

    have an excel based CSV file with two columns (or rows, Pythonically) that I am working on. What I need to do is to perform some operations so that I can compare the two data entries in each 'row'. To be more precise, one column has constant numbers all the way down, whereas the other column has varying values. So I need to count the number of times the varying column data entry values crosses the constant value on the other column. For example, fro the csv file i have two columns: Varying Column; Constant Column 24 25 26 25 crossed 27 25 26 25 25.5 25 23 25 crossed 26 25 crossed Thus, the varying column data entries have crossed 25 three times.     I have an array of files that looks like this: Array ( [0] => Array ( [type] => folder [path] => RootFolder ) [1] => Array ( [type] => file [path] => RootFolder\error.log ) [2] => Array ( [type] => folder [path] => RootFolder\test ) [3] => Array ( [type] => file [path] => RootFolder\test\asd.txt ) [4] => Array ( [type] => folder [path] => RootFolder\test\sd ) [5] => Array ( [type] => file [path] => RootFolder\test\sd\testing.txt ) ) I parse this array and create a tree like view based on the depth of the files ('/' count). It looks like this: RootFolder - error.log - test - asd.txt - sd - testing.txt What I have now is an array of filepaths the user is allowed to view. I need to take this array into account when constructing the above tree. That array looks like this: Array ( [0] => Array ( [filePath] => RootFolder\test\sd ) [1] => Array ( [filePath] => RootFolder\error.log ) ) It would be easy to do a if in_array($path, $allowed) but that won't give me the tree. Just a list of files... Another part I'm stumped on is this requirement: If the user has access to view the folder test, they then have access to all children of that folder. My idea was to simply parse the filepaths. For example, I'd confirm that RootFolder\test\sd was a directory and then create a tree based on the '/' count. Like I was doing earlier. Then, since this is a directory, I'd pull out all files within this directory and show them to the user. However, I'm having trouble converting this to working code... Any ideas?

  • How can I use git to stage only one line in a file for commit, all from a script?

    I'm writing a simple pre-commit git hook that updates the year in copyright headers for files that are staged for commit. After modifying the line with the copyright, I would like the hook to stage that line so that it is part of the commit. It can't just git add the whole file, because there may be other pre-existing changes in there that shouldn't be staged. I don't see any options in the git add manual the let you stage specific lines. I figure I could git stash save --keep-index, apply my change, git add the file, and then git stash pop, but that seems rather crude. Any better approaches?

  • Trace output not getting logged in output file at times.

    I'm using TextWriterTraceListener to log error messages to a text file.The TraceOutputFile has been mentioned in the web.config file as "trace.log.txt". The error messages are getting logged to the trace.log.txt. But at times I notice that some files are getting generated randomly under root folder with the exception details instead of logging to the trace.log.txt. This is not happening in any particular page and hence I am unable to detect the reason as to why these files are getting generated.Ex:14dbc20a-9eb8-4fec-b6bd-54400db2ceatrace.log.txt . Can u suggest me any circumstances when this might happen?
