    I have list of variables in an include files which is looks like: var_1 = "string" var_2 = "string" on the main file i need variable created on the fly so i do ' somewhere i have the num variable Execute("new_var = var_"&num) Exactly on the execute line i got this error Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01ca' Variable uses an Automation type not supported in VBScript Any idea guys? thanks

    Suppose that I have a Table Symbols(Symbol, Value) and a Table SymbolValues (Symbol, Value) which contains a list of values for the symbol. How to choose maximum values fromt he SymbolValues table and insert into Symbols table. For Example, The SymbolValues Table has following values A 1 A 2 A 3 B 6 B 7 Then only A 3 and B 7 should be inserted in the Symbols table. Is this possible using insert into select statement.     I can't figure out how to check from within C/C++ if a service is enabled via launchd. I know I can use launchctl from the command line and am currently executing ' launchctl list myServiceName ' from fork/exec. I've found that boostrap_look_up() might be the way to check this but I can't find enough documentation to condense this down to a simple example. Can you shed light on this? All I need is a small function to test if my service is actually registered and available.
