  • Lazy Loading in dynatree

    - by gnomixa
In this component http://wwwendt.de/tech/dynatree/index.html under 5.4 Loading child nodes on demand ('lazy loading') it seems that the only way to load the tree nodes in a lazy manner is to grab them from web service. What if I want to grab the nodes from a data structure? Any advice?

  • properly setting email subject line delivered from email form

    - by DC1
    I have a email form for my website but here is the issue: when i receive an email, the subject line in my inbox shows whatever the user inputted as subject in the form. id like to override that so that whenever an email comes in. the subject in the email header is always "an inquiry from your website". In the message body, sure i don't mind their specific subject they entered but when I receive an email, id like consistency in my inbox. this is the current code: <?php session_start(); if(isset($_POST['Submit'])) { if( $_SESSION['chapcha_code'] == $_POST['chapcha_code'] && !empty($_SESSION['chapcha_code'] ) ) { $youremail = 'xxxxxxxxx'; $fromsubject = 'An inquiry from your website'; $title = $_POST['title']; $fname = $_POST['fname']; $lname = $_POST['lname']; $mail = $_POST['mail']; $address = $_POST['address']; $city = $_POST['city']; $zip = $_POST['zip']; $country = $_POST['country']; $phone = $_POST['phone']; $subject = $_POST['subject']; $message = $_POST['message']; $headers = "From: $nome <$mail>\r\n"; $to = $youremail; $mailsubject = 'Message received from'.$fromsubject.' Contact Page'; $body = $fromsubject.' The person that contacted you is '.$fname.' '.$lname.' Address: '.$address.' '.$city.', '.$zip.', '.$country.' Phone Number: '.$phone.' E-mail: '.$mail.' Subject: '.$subject.' Message: '.$message.' |---------END MESSAGE----------|'; echo "Thank you for inquiring. We will contact you shortly.<br/>You may return to our <a href='/index.html'>Home Page</a>"; mail($to, $subject, $body, $headers); unset($_SESSION['chapcha_code']); } else { echo 'Sorry, you have provided an invalid security code'; } } else { echo "You must write a message. </br> Please visit our <a href='/contact.html'>Contact Page</a> and try again."; } ?>

Is there a possibility to create a html or a php page that will count redirects? I mean, let's say you have a page with a link in it. I want the page to count how many times the link is clicked per ip adress or username. The counting would be reported into a log file or text document.

  • Outlook Marking Email as Junk Email

    - by robertabead
I know. I sound like a spammer but these emails are completely legitimate email confirmations for people that have signed up for an account on this website we developed. These emails all make it through to various mail providers (gmail, yahoo, aol, hotmail/live) but they always get directed into the Outlook Junk Email folder. I am have tried using Zend Framework mail, PEAR Mail and phpMailer. All of those methods result in the same thing happening. This seemed to start happening after Microsoft released their update to the Outlook Junk Email filter in January of this year. Following is the code in question: include_once('Mail.php'); include_once('Mail/mime.php'); $hdrs = array( 'From' => "Membership <[email protected]>", 'Subject' => 'Test Email', 'Reply-To'=> "[email protected]", 'Message-ID'=> "<" . str_pad(rand(0,12345678),8,'0',STR_PAD_LEFT) . "@mail.example.com>", 'Date'=> date("D, j M Y H:i:s O",time()), 'To'=> '[email protected]' ); $params = array('host'=>'mail.example.com','auth'=>false,'localhost' => 'www.example.com','debug'=>false); $crlf = "\n"; $mime = new Mail_mime($crlf); $mime->setTXTBody("TEST"); $mime->setHTMLBody("<html>\n<body>\nTest\n</body>\n</html>"); $body = $mime->get(); $hdrs = $mime->headers($hdrs); $mail =& Mail::factory('smtp',$params); $t=$mail->send('[email protected]', $hdrs, $body); As you can see we are using the PEAR Mail functionality in this test. This is the most basic test we could run and the above generated email gets dumped into the Outlook Junk Email folder. We have reverse DNS on the mail server and it matches the forward DNS, SPF and DKIM are set up and there is nothing "spammy" with the above content. Can anybody see something with the above code that could cause Outlook to mark it as Junk? Thanks!

  • Z-Index and javascript for rollover

    - by Raffaele
    I have a container (div) with a background image. In this div there is a menu - a horizontal list. What I need is to insert an image onMouseOver, positioning it absolutely, and showing it behind the text (of course!) AND on top of the div's background image. I also use jQuery, but I think this doesn't matter. The problem can be viewed online. Go to http://www.w3schools.com/css/tryit.asp?filename=trycss_zindex and paste the following text <html> <head> <style type="text/css"> img { top: 0; left: 0; position:absolute; z-index:-1; } #main { color: red; margin: 30px; padding: 20px; width: 700px; min-height: 400px; z-index: -2; background-image: url("http://www.google.com/logos/mother10-hp.gif"); background-repeat: no-repeat; } </style> </head> <body> <div id="main"> <h1>Z-Index question:</h1> <img src="w3css.gif" width="100" height="140" /> <p>How can we place the green pic between the text and the div#main?</p> <p>I need the green gif to appear</p> <ol> <li>On top of #main's background image</li> <li>Behind the text</li> </ol> </div> </body> </html>

  • storing session data in mysql using php is not retrieving the data properly from the tables.

    - by Ronedog
I have a problem retrieving some data from the $_SESSION using php and mysql. I've commented out the line in php.ini that tells the server to use the "file" to store the session info so my database will be used. I have a class that I use to write the information to the database and its working fine. When the user passes their credentials the class gets instantiated and the $_SESSION vars get set, then the user gets redirected to the index page. The index.php page includes the file where the db session class is, which when instantiated calles session_start() and the session variables should be in $_SESSION, but when I do var_dump($_SESSION) there is nothing in the array. However, when I look at the data in mysql, all the session information is in there. Its acting like session_start() has not been called, but by instantiating the class it is. Any idea what could be wrong? Here's the HTML: <?php include_once "classes/phpsessions_db/class.dbsession.php"; //used for sessions var_dump($_SESSION); ?> <html> . . . </html> Here's the dbsession class: <?php error_reporting(E_ALL); class dbSession { function dbSession($gc_maxlifetime = "", $gc_probability = "", $gc_divisor = "") { // if $gc_maxlifetime is specified and is an integer number if ($gc_maxlifetime != "" && is_integer($gc_maxlifetime)) { // set the new value @ini_set('session.gc_maxlifetime', $gc_maxlifetime); } // if $gc_probability is specified and is an integer number if ($gc_probability != "" && is_integer($gc_probability)) { // set the new value @ini_set('session.gc_probability', $gc_probability); } // if $gc_divisor is specified and is an integer number if ($gc_divisor != "" && is_integer($gc_divisor)) { // set the new value @ini_set('session.gc_divisor', $gc_divisor); } // get session lifetime $this->sessionLifetime = ini_get("session.gc_maxlifetime"); //Added by AARON. cancel the session's auto start, important, without this the session var's don't show up on next pg. session_write_close(); // register the new handler session_set_save_handler( array(&$this, 'open'), array(&$this, 'close'), array(&$this, 'read'), array(&$this, 'write'), array(&$this, 'destroy'), array(&$this, 'gc') ); register_shutdown_function('session_write_close'); // start the session @session_start(); } function stop() { $new_sess_id = $this->regenerate_id(true); session_unset(); session_destroy(); return $new_sess_id; } function regenerate_id($return_val=false) { // saves the old session's id $oldSessionID = session_id(); // regenerates the id // this function will create a new session, with a new id and containing the data from the old session // but will not delete the old session session_regenerate_id(); // because the session_regenerate_id() function does not delete the old session, // we have to delete it manually //$this->destroy($oldSessionID); //ADDED by aaron // returns the new session id if($return_val) { return session_id(); } } function open($save_path, $session_name) { // global $gf; // $gf->debug_this($gf, "GF: Opening Session"); // change the next values to match the setting of your mySQL database $mySQLHost = "localhost"; $mySQLUsername = "user"; $mySQLPassword = "pass"; $mySQLDatabase = "sessions"; $link = mysql_connect($mySQLHost, $mySQLUsername, $mySQLPassword); if (!$link) { die ("Could not connect to database!"); } $dbc = mysql_select_db($mySQLDatabase, $link); if (!$dbc) { die ("Could not select database!"); } return true; } function close() { mysql_close(); return true; } function read($session_id) { $result = @mysql_query(" SELECT session_data FROM session_data WHERE session_id = '".$session_id."' • Div positioning on a canvas with arrows bindings

    - by ideotop
I'm searching for a little piece of javascript that can attach to a div (in data-x data-y attributes for example) the x,y coordinates of a draggable div. And then be able to draw arrows between them (using a data-targetid attribute?). If the solution can look like a simple version of graphview, jsPlumb or vizster but without the complicated library, and only in javascript/html

How would you go about knowing that ajax requests are related? Normally with HTTP-HTML requests, cookies would store a md5 hash representing a session id. Is there a similar pattern with AJAX?

  • What's the correct way to read an inputStream into a node property in JCR 2?

    - by Stuart
In JCR 1 you could do: final InputStream in = zip.getInputStream(zip.getEntry(zipEntryName)); node.setProperty(JcrConstants.JCR_CONTENT, in); But that's deprecated in JCR 2 as detailed at http://www.day.com/maven/jsr170/javadocs/jcr-2.0/javax/jcr/Node.html#setProperty%28java.lang.String,%20java.io.InputStream%29 That says I should be using node.setProperty(String, Binary) but I don't see any way to turn my inputStream into a Binary. Can anyone point me to docs or example code for this?

  • Displaying a message in a dialog box using AJAX, jQuery, and CakePHP

    - by LainIwakura
I have a form, and when users submit this form, it should pass the data along to a function using AJAX. Then, the result of that is displayed to the user in a dialog box. I'm using CakePHP (1.3) and jQuery to try and accomplish this but I feel like I'm running into the ground. The form will eventually be used for uploading images with tags, but for now I just want to see a message pop up in the box.. The form: <?php echo $this->Form->create('Image', array('type' => 'file', 'controller' => 'images', 'action' => 'upload', 'method' => 'post')); echo $this->Form->input('Wallpaper', array('type' => 'file')); echo $this->Form->input('Tags'); echo $this->Form->end('Upload!'); ?> The AJAX: $(document).ready(function() { $("#ImageUploadForm").submit(function() { $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "/images/upload/", data: $(this).serialize(), async: false, success: function(html){ $("#dialog-modal").dialog({ $("#dialog-modal").append("<p>"+html+"</p>"); height: 140, modal: true, buttons: { Ok: function() { $(this).dialog('close'); } } }) } }); return false; }); }); NOTE: if I put $("#dialog-modal").dialog({ height: 140, modal: true }); OUTSIDE of the $.ajax but inside the $("#ImageUploadForm").submit(function() { and comment out the $.ajax stuff, I WILL see a dialog box pop up and then I have to click it for it to go away. After this, it will not forward to the location /images/upload/ The method that AJAX calls: public function upload() { $this->autoRender = false; if ($this->RequestHandler->isAjax()) { echo 'Hi!'; exit(); } } $this-RequestHandler-isAjax() seems to do either absolutely nothing, or it is always returning false. I have never entered an if statement with that as the condition. Thanks for all the help, if you need more information let me know.

  • C++ (And other languages) - Learning from source code examples.

    - by Gabe
I found that the most effective way for me to learn html and css was to simply find a site, right click, view the source code, and see how it worked. I'm in the process of learning c++ and I think examples/source code to look through would help me a good deal. So, how can I do this? Are there online sites that serve this purpose? Any other recommendations on learning would be great, too.

  • How to make the WebBrowser to scroll up when new content is appended to the bottom of the page?

    - by Java Doe
In order to achieve this effect, I would like to know how I can make the WebBrowser to scroll up when new content is added to the HTML page? "Allow more entries to be displayed in the view: When the user clicks more, additional entries should be displayed in addition to the ones which are already displayed. The code should cause the UI to scroll such that the first entry of the "more" set is on top". I am using com.ibm.rcp.browser.service.WebBrowser which is similar to SWT WebBrowser.
