  • Is this possible in sql server 2005?

    This is my queries select ClientName,ClientMobNo from Clients select DriverName,DriverMobNo from Drivers It gives me two result tables... But i want to combine both the result tables into a single table... I tried union and union all it doesn't give me what i want.... Note: There is no relationship between the two tables...... There may be 200 clients and 100 drivers...

  • iPhone to host server to mySQL and back?

    Can someone please direct me to process for doing this? I have already done the Login verification exercise using mySQL for the dbase on my host server (thanks to kiksy). Now I am trying to move forward and "Query" from the iPhone a list of "users" that currently occupy the table (iphoneusers) in MySQL. And of course get it back to the iPhone via the php connection.     I've found an old plugin called acts_as_habtm_list - but it's for Rails 1.0.0. Is this functionality built in acts_as_list now? I can't seem to find any information on it. Basically, I have an artists_events table - no model. The relationship is handled through those two models specifying :has_and_belongs_to_many How can I specify order in this situation?

I basically want to select information from each table For example: userid = 1 I want to select data from all 3 tables, where userid = 1 I am currently using: SELECT r.*, p.*, l.* FROM random r LEFT JOIN pandom p ON r.userid = p.userid LEFT JOIN landom l ON l.userid = r.userid WHERE r.userid = '1' LIMIT 0, 30 But it doesn't seem to work.

  • IE is doing strange things with JQuery

    So ... The thing is, the code works in FireFox, no problems. But when I open the same page, it gives me the following error: "Undefined is null or not an object." But when I copy the code to a localhost page, it works fine. Also when I clear my cache in IE it works, but only once, if I refresh after that one load, it gives me the same error.     Hello, I have the problem, that MSSQL Server 2000 should select some distinct values from a table (the specific column is of the nvarchar type). There are the sometimes the same values, but with different cases, for example (pseudocode): SELECT DISTINCT * FROM ("A", "a", "b", "B") would return A,b But I do want (and do expect) A,a,b,B because they actually are different values. Any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks a lot in advance!
