    - by Mike Clark
In VB.NET there is the WITH command that lets you omit an object name and only access the methods and properties needed. For example: With foo .bar() .reset(true) myVar = .getName() End With Is there any such syntax within Java? Thanks!

    - by YogoZuno
I'm doing the first bit of web-page development I've done in years, in VS2008, using VB.net. I have a fairly simple layout, which is using several nested tables. IE6 displays the layout just fine, but Firefox for some reason shows the whole thing in a small panel at the top of the page, with a scrollbar. Can anyone suggest something basic I am likely missing?

  • QueryString From Shared Function

    - by Kezzer
I'm trying to get a query string from a shared function in a code-behind model using VB.NET. You have to use HttpContext.Current.Request.QueryString("Query") in order to get it from a shared function, however doing HttpContext.Current.Request.QueryString.Count gives back 0, which obviously isn't right in my case as there's many that exist. Is there some sort of issue with using this static call from a shared function?
