• Wpf usercontrol with parameterised constructor

  Hi, We are using Microsoft Unity and we are using dependency injection and so we have parametrised constructor. So now how to call such a usercontrol in the main window. I see the below error when i added the usercontrol in xaml. "It does not define a public parameterless constructor or a type converter" I have added the usercontrol in XAML as below xmlns:usrRefundArrivalProcessor="Ttl.Refunds.Wpf.Dashboad.Application.Usercontrols;assembly=Ttl.Refunds.Wpf.Dashboad.Application"

• Cannot read from registry - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT if not running in Administrator Mode

  I cannot read from the registry unless I run my application in administrator mode. I am building a preview handler, using the IPreviewHandler interface, and I require GUIDs for file types located in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. How can I access this information without elevating my application to adminstrator. I am using Delphi but happy for any sample code. Thanks, Phillip

• How can I prevent PermGen space errors in Netbeans?

  Every 15-30 minutes Netbeans shows a "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space". From what I learned from Google this seems to be related to classloader leaks or memory leaks in general. Unfortunatly all suggestions I found were related to application servers and I have no idea to adapted them to Netbeans. (I'm not even sure it's the same problem) Is it a problem in my application? How can I find the source?

But the license for Mozilla Javascript engine is GNU/GPL/MPL based and I don't have the time and energy to digest the cryptic legal document. In short, does the license mean I need to publish my application's source code if I embed the engine into my own appli.? Something I think is quite impossible but as what i understand from the CopyLeft license, any work derived from modifying the source code means the derived work must be made open source as well.

• Error while installing a .net setup executable locally

  Hello I have created a setup for my windows application in .NET 2008 After building the same i have the .msi and setup.exe files in my release folder. The problem i am facing is : I can install the application using the msi installer files from the shared network folder. But when i copy the installer locally and tried to install it, i get the following error: Error reading file.Please Try again.   Using Sun Glassfish Enterprise server v2.1.1 I am using "alternatedocroot" via sun-web.xml for my web application to abstract out static content from actual deploy-able code (EAR/WAR) What I have is a cluster of two server instances distributed across two physical hosts - HOST1 and HOST2. "alternatedocroot" points to /data/static-content/ on both HOST1 and HOST2. Would DAS (Domain application server )take care of syncing /data/static-content between HOST1 and HOST2 if I use syncinstances=true option while starting up the cluster? Thanks!

The question is, is there a way to keep the file on the hard disk even after the application in uninstalled? I don't want to reconfigure the application every time the user uninstalls/installs. • Why am I getting a TypeLoadException when defining a custom profile?

  I'm writing a .NET command-line application that will migrate users from an existing database into aspnetdb. To simplify the user-specific settings, I'm using the profile class that Joel Spolsky wrote about here. It works great in the ASP.NET MVC website, but for some reason it's throwing a TypeLoadException when being used from this new application. I'm not sure why the framework is trying to load the new class from System.Web.
