The web address of some web sites end with ".aspx", ".php", ".jsp", etc. But some web address do not contains any indicators.   Here's my model: class Comment < ActiveRecord::Base serialize :request_headers end But when I try to do @comment.request_headers = request.headers I get a TypeError (can't dump anonymous class Class) exception. Another way to ask my question: how can I convert request.headers into a Hash? It uses a Hash under the covers so this should be easy, no?

  Hey guys, I am trying do write an application(server) which receives the keyboard instructions from the client and execute them on the server end. It's more like those screen recorders which records your keyboard and mouse events and replay them. For example, you pull up a textedit on the server, type whatever you like on the client and you can see those letters on the server.   I'd like to use searchlogic's scope_procedure feature like so class MyModelObject < ActiveRecord::Base scope_procedure :my_scope_proc, lambda { |p1, p2| { :conditions => "p1 >= #{p1} AND p2 < #{p2}" }} end Then, I am doing the search: scope = MyModelObject.search(:my_scope_proc => true) scope.all The above code obviously doesn't work because I didn't pass p1 and p2 parameters to my named scope. I can't figure out how to pass parameters to the named scope.

  Is there any function in Objective-C to print a list of elements as unordered HTML elements. For ex - [@"a--b-c---d" htmlList: @"--"] returns @ "ab-c-d" the "--" is the delimiter to seperate the string of elements. I have used NSSArray to store the input string and function componentsSeperatedByString:@"--" to get the elements. How do I go ahead in adding the HTML tags li and /li between elements and ul and /ul at the end of the entire list? Please help, Im a beginner in objective -C

• IEnumerator: Is it normal to have an empty Dispose method?

  I'm writing an IEnumerator<T> class to iterate over a COM collection I'm wrappering. I've noticed that IEnumerator<T> extends IDisposable, so I'm required to implement the Dispose method. However, I can't think of anything I would put there, as I only have a reference to the collection (which I wouldn't want being disposed at the end of a foreach), and an int for the index. Is it normal to leave the Dispose method empty?

And if I kill cmd, the child dies too- no "yeah.txt" is created. How do I make ensure the child continues to run even if parent is killed and also that the parent doesn't wait for child process to end?

• What exactly are those data types int 16, int 32 and int 64 on the iPhone, in Core Data?

  The Xcode data modeler shows me those three different int data types. When I would write code, which data types do these really correspond to on the iPhone? Are they all simply NSInteger, wrapped in an NSNumber? As far as I see it, NSNumber only differentiates between int an NSInteger... so I guess those three end up beeing pretty much the same?

Unfortunately there are Values without a dot, so it's probably best to check for numbers from the end of the String. thanks for your help!
