  • Set Action Controller name for Zend_Tool create controller

    - by Cobby
Hi All, All my controllers use a custom Action Controller class, is there anyway to set the action controller class it uses when generating the the controller code? Or would be even better if I could set it up to map the action controller class to use based on the module the class is being created under. Cheers.

  • Books or resources for high-loaded sites.

    - by Alex
Currently I'm developing high-loaded financial portal(we use LAMP to run our project). There are great number of incoming data to be processed and stored. So optimization tasks become very important for us. Could you suggest books, articles or resources, that discover optimization questions (especially bboks). NOTE: At the moment I'm reading great book High Performance MySQL, but besides I want to know other facilities of optimization.

  • InnoDB "Column count doesn't match value count at row 1"

    - by Webnet
I'm having issues with a table. I'm using the following to create my insert query... $validatedData = array(); foreach ($post as $key => $value) { if ($key != 'submit' && $key != 'dz_tos' && $key != 'dz_billShip') { $validatedData[$key] = filter_var($value, FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING); } } mysql_query("INSERT INTO dz_users(".implode(array_keys($validatedData), ',').", dz_access_level) VALUES(\"".implode($validatedData, '\",\"')."\", 1)"); So every column has a value to match it. The problem is that I'm getting the SQL error: Column count doesn’t match value count at row 1 The database is an innoDB and all columns are varChar/Char except for the ID field which is an auto increment primary key.

  • Looping through a SimpleXML object, or turning the whole thing into an array.

    - by Coffee Cup
I'm trying to work out how to iterate though a returned SimpleXML object. I'm using a toolkit called Tarzan AWS, which connects to Amazon Web Services (SimpleDB, S3, EC2, etc). I'm specifically using SimpleDB. I can put data into the Amazon SimpleDB service, and I can get it back. I just don't know how to handle the SimpleXML object that is returned. The Tarzan AWS documentation says this: Look at the response to navigate through the headers and body of the response. Note that this is an object, not an array, and that the body is a SimpleXML object. Here's a sample of the returned SimpleXML object: [body] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [QueryWithAttributesResult] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Item] = Array ( [0] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = message12413344443260 [Attribute] = Array ( [0] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = active [Value] = 1 ) [1] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = user [Value] = john ) [2] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = message [Value] = This is a message. ) [3] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = time [Value] = 1241334444 ) [4] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = id [Value] = 12413344443260 ) [5] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = ip [Value] = 10.10.10.1 ) ) ) [1] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = message12413346907303 [Attribute] = Array ( [0] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = active [Value] = 1 ) [1] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = user [Value] = fred ) [2] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = message [Value] = This is another message ) [3] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = time [Value] = 1241334690 ) [4] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = id [Value] = 12413346907303 ) [5] = SimpleXMLElement Object ( [Name] = ip [Value] = 10.10.10.2 ) ) ) ) So what code do I need to get through each of the object items? I'd like to loop through each of them and handle it like a returned mySQL query. For example, I can query SimpleDB and then loop though the SimpleXML so I can display the results on the page. Alternatively, how do you turn the whole shebang into an array? I'm new to SimpleXML, so I apologise if my questions aren't specific enough.

  • Function returns CSV File: How to go about checking it ?

    - by Rachel
I am doing something like: $outputFile = getCurrentDBSnapshot($data); where $data is the resource stream that am passing in, basically from command prompt am passing an file and am opening it using fopen for writing with 'w+' permissions, now getCurrentDBSnapshot would get the current state of a table and would update the $data csv file, so basically $outputFile would be updated with the current state of database table, now I want to var_dump or print the value of $outputFile to see the data present into it. But when I do $this->fout = fopen($outputFile,'r') or die('Cannot open file'); $test = fgetcsv($outputFile,5000,":"); var_dump($test); It gives me an error saying that it expects parameter 1 to be a string type and am passing resource. My goal to see the contains of $outputFile and so my question is that How can I see the contains present in $outputFile or how can I see what getcurrentDBSnapshot function is returning me ?

  • ExpressionEngine: Why is this {exp:query} tag producing an error?

    - by Josh Brown
Hi. I have this code in place to pull some relation data from the database based on a ID of another weblog entry. The relationship custom field would not work for my situation. I have tested the SQL with MySQL and get no errors. But I get an error when I pull up the page. {exp:query sql="SELECT entry_id,field_id_16,field_id_19 FROM exp_weblog_data WHERE field_id_15='2' AND weblog_id='6'"} Also, I want to populate the “field_id_15” from the url. I have tried using the “segment_*” tag, but nothing. Maybe it is something else. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Josh

  • Add Facebox To FullCalendar Events

    - by Tom
I have been trying to make the FullCalendar events use Facebox to pop up with information when they are clicked. I have no problem putting the events on the calendar or getting the information that needs to be displayed it is just getting the pop up box to work. I have tried adding rel="facebox" to both the "span" and the "a" that wraps the event title but neither seem to affect it. If anyone has tried this before or knows a possible solution I look forward to hearing from you.

  • CakePHP's list problem

    - by jun
    Hi there. I have this table in my DB: Group - ID-Name - 1 -abc - 2 -def - 3 -ghi Pages - id-group_id-name - 1 -1 -home - 2 -1 -about us Now I wanted to make a select box that groups them by 'group' using: function add() { $this->set('pages', $this->Page->find('list', array('fields' => array('Page.id', 'Page.name', 'Page.group_id')))); } In my add.ctp: echo $form->input('group_id', array('options' => $pages)); The output: <select name="data[Page][id]" id="PageId"> <optgroup label="1"> <option value="1">Home</option> <option value="2">About Us</option> </optgroup> </select> I wanted the optgroup to display the actual group name not the group id like: <select name="data[Page][id]" id="PageId"> <optgroup label="abc"> <option value="1">Home</option> <option value="2">About Us</option> </optgroup> </select> I have tried this one: $this->Page->find('list', array('conditions' => 'Group.id = Page.id', 'fields' => array('Page.id', 'Page.name', 'Group.name'))); But 'Group.id' and 'Group.name' is unknown. Thanks!

  • Kohana3: Absolute path to a file

    - by Svish
Say I have a file in my kohana 3 website called assets/somefile.jpg. I can get the url to that file by doing echo Url::site('assets/somefile.jpg'); // /kohana/assets/somefile.jpg Is there a way I can get the absolute path to that file? Like if I want to fopen it or get the size of the file or something like that. In other words, I would like to get something like /var/www/kohana/assets/somefile.jpg or W:\www\kohana\assets\somefile.jpg or whatever is the absolute path.

  • How do I access data within this multidimensional array?

    - by dmanexe
    I have this array: $items_pool = Array ( [0] => Array ( [id] => 1 [quantity] => 1 ) [1] => Array ( [id] => 2 [quantity] => 1 ) [2] => Array ( [id] => 72 [quantity] => 6 ) [3] => Array ( [id] => 4 [quantity] => 1 ) [4] => Array ( [id] => 5 [quantity] => 1 ) [5] => Array ( [id] => 7 [quantity] => 1 ) [6] => Array ( [id] => 8 [quantity] => 1 ) [7] => Array ( [id] => 9 [quantity] => 1 ) [8] => Array ( [id] => 19 [quantity] => 1 ) [9] => Array ( [id] => 20 [quantity] => 1 ) [10] => Array ( [id] => 22 [quantity] => 1 ) [11] => Array ( [id] => 29 [quantity] => 0 ) ) I'm trying to loop through this array and perform a conditional based on $items_pool[][id]'s value. I want to then report back TRUE or NULL/FALSE, so I'm just testing the presence of to be specific.

  • How to arrange business logic in a Kohana 3 project

    - by Pekka
I'm looking for advice, tutorials and links at how to set up a mid-sized web application with Kohana 3. I have implemented MVC patterns in the past but never worked against a "formalized" MVC framework so I'm still getting my head around the terminology - toying around with basic examples, building views and templates, and so on. I'm progressing fairly well but I want to set up a real-world web project (one of my own that I've been planning for quite some time now) as a learning object. I learn best by example, but example-based documentation is a bit sparse for Kohana 3 right now - they say so themselves on the site. While I'm not worried about learning the framework as I go along, I want to make sure the code base is healthily structured from the start - i.e. controllers are split nicely, named well and according to standards, and most importantly the business logic is separated into appropriately sized models. My application could, in its core, be described as a business directory with a range of search and listing functions, and a login area for each entry owner. The actual administrative database backend is already taken care of. Supposing I have all the API worked out and in place already - list all businesses, edit business, list businesses by street name, create offer logged in as business, and so on, and I'm just looking for how to fit the functionality into a MVC pattern and into a Kohana application structure that can be easily extended. Do you know real-life examples of "database-heavy" applications like directories, online communities... with a log-in area built on Kohana 3, preferably Open Source so I could take a peek how they do it? Are there conventions or best practices on how to structure an extendable login area for end users in a Kohana project that is not only able to handle a business directory page, but further products on separate pages as well? Do you know any good resources on building complex applications with Kohana? Have you built something similar and could give me recommendations on a project structure?

  • Read line comments in INI file

    - by Dave Jarvis
The parse_ini_file function removes comments in configuration files. What would you do to keep the comments that are associated with the next line? For example: [email] ; Verify that the email's domain has a mail exchange (MX) record. validate_domain = true Am thinking of using X(HT)ML and XSLT to transform the content into an INI file (so that the documentation and options can be single sourced). For example: <h1>email</h1> <p>Verify that the email's domain has a mail exchange (MX) record.</p> <dl> <dt>validate_domain</dt> <dd>true</dd> </dl> Any other ideas?

  • Hide segment in URL but give code access to hidden segment

    - by Brandon Durham
I'm using Structure and have a "Supernav" page with multiple children that will make up the supernav for the site. I thought this would be a nice way to have all pages on the site accessible to the client via one location: the Structure UI. If you visit any of the child pages in the "supernav" group the URL comes out like this: http://website.com/supernav/prospective-students I'd love to be able to remove the supernav segment of those URLs so that it ends up being: http://website.com/prospective-students I don't even want the supernav segment to appear in the status bar when you hover over these links on the page. Is this possible? With CodeIgniter this comes down to a simple routing rule, but I don't know if that's an option with EE. Appreciate any help I can get!

  • Problem sending email with Codeigniter - Headers sent in the message body

    - by Brian
Having a strange issue with the email class in codeigniter. When I send email directly to my gmail account email address, it works fine. However if I send email to a different email address and use POP3 to import that email address into gmail, then for some reason all the headers are included in the message. Here's the code for sending the email: $this->email->clear(); $config['mailtype'] = "html"; $this->email->initialize($config); $this->email->set_newline("\r\n"); $this->email->from('[email protected]', 'Website'); $this->email->to('[email protected]'); $this->email->message($message); Here's what arrives in my inbox when the email is sent to an account which is imported into gmail via POP3: Date: Fri, 7 Jan 2011 15:07:04 +0000 From: "Website" <[email protected]> Reply-To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> X-Sender: [email protected] X-Mailer: CodeIgniter X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Message-ID: <[email protected]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="B_ALT_4d272c1835c46" This is a multi-part message in MIME format. Your email application may not support this format. --B_ALT_4d272c1835c46 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit this is the email message content --B_ALT_4d272c1835c46 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html> <body> <p>this is the email message content </p> </body> </html> --B_ALT_4d272c1835c46--

  • A problem about in_array

    - by SpawnCxy
Hi all, I have got a strange problem about in_array recently which I cannot understand. e.g. $a = array('a','b','c'); $b = array(1,2,3); if (in_array(0,$a)) { echo "a bingo!\n"; } else { echo "a miss!\n"; } if (in_array(0,$b)) { echo "b bingo!\n"; } else { echo "b miss!\n"; } I ran it on my lamp, and got a bingo! b miss! I read the manual and set the third parament $strict as true, then it worked as expected. But does that mean I always need to set the strict parament as true when using in_array?Suggestions would be appreciated. • Array Problem, need to sort via Keys

    - by sologhost
Ok, not really sure how to do this. I have values that are being outputted from a SQL query like so: $row[0] = array('lid' => 1, 'llayout' => 1, 'lposition' => 1, 'mid' => 1, 'mlayout' => 1, 'mposition' => 0); $row[1] = array('lid' => 2, 'llayout' => 1, 'lposition' => 0, 'mid' => 2, 'mlayout' => 1, 'mposition' => 0); $row[2] = array('lid' => 2, 'llayout' => 1, 'lposition' => 0, 'mid' => 3, 'mlayout' => 1, 'mposition' => 1); $row[3] = array('lid' => 3, 'llayout' => 1, 'lposition' => 1, 'mid' => 4, 'mlayout' => 1, 'mposition' => 1); $row[4] = array('lid' => 4, 'llayout' => 1, 'lposition' => 2, 'mid' => 5, 'mlayout' => 1, 'mposition' => 0); etc. etc. Ok, so the best thing I can think of for this is to give lid and mid array keys and have it equal the mposition into an array within the while loop of query like so... $old[$row['lid']][$row['mid']] = $mposition; Now if I do this, I need to compare this array's keys with another array that I'll need to build based on a $_POST array[]. $new = array(); foreach($_POST as $id => $data) { // $id = column, but we still need to get each rows position... $id = str_replace('col_', '', $id); // now get the inner array... foreach($data as $pos => $idpos) $new[$id][$idpos] = $pos; } Ok, so now I have 2 arrays of info, 1 from the database, and another from the $_POST positions, I hope I got the array keys correct. Now I need to figure out which one's changed, comparing from the old to the new. And also, need to update the database with all of the new positions where new lid = the old lid, and the new mid = the old mid from each array. I'm sure I'll have to use array_key or array_key_intersect somehow, but not sure exactly how...??? Also, I don't think an UPDATE would be useful in a foreach loop, perhaps there's a way to do a CASE statement in the UPDATE query? Also, Am I going about this the right way? OR should I do it another way instead of using a muli-dimensional array for this.
