However that token comes out as an array of bytes. It's hard to use it later to send it to the server... anyone knows how to convert an array of bytes to pchar or string?

Do you know some source which I could use? Or some other HTML (WYSIWYG) editor that could be used inside JavaFX and it has this functionality ? I can program this functionality into the existing JavaFX HTMLEditor by myself, but I prefer to ask before I start doing something :) Thank you very much for your answers ;)

  • Search Display Controller Crashes When Returning Results

    I have a tableview with a search display controller. It has been working fine in the past, but recently has started crashing for certain search results. Here my code searches a Golfer based on their Name, Age and Handicap. The data is correctly loaded into the table, I can access and drill down to receive further information. However when I type in a search query for either Name or Age, the app crashes, while the Golfers Handicap is returned fine.     essetially I just want formatted HTML rendered in the UITextView, should I be using the undocumented setContentToHTMLString? I feel that I should not be using that, I have tried it, but the text (after being rendered as HTML) does not scroll properly, which is why I suspect its not documented... Should I just use a UIWebView? Can I just pass it arbitrary HTML and expect it to render it?

    I'm using Notepad++ to create some text file, but I noticed when the generated file is opened in Windows Notepad, the file contents get mal-formated due to the fact that Notepad++ use LF and EOL character, while Notepad expects CR + LF. Is there any way to change this behavior in Notepad++??

  • OCR an RSA key fob (security token)

    I put together a quick WinForm/embedded IE browser control which logs into our company's bank website each morning and scrapes/exports the desired deposit information (the bank is a smallish regional bank). Since we have a few dozen "pseudoaccounts" that draw from the same master account, this actually takes 10-15 minutes to retrieve. Anyway, the only problem is that our business bank account reuires an RSA security token (http://www.rsa.com/node.aspx?id=1156)--if you are not familiar, it is a small device which shows a random 6 digit number every 15(?) seconds, so I have to prompt for this value before starting. This is on top of the website's login based security model, so even if you create a read-only account that can't do anything, you still have to put the RSA number in. We have 5 of these tokens for different people in the company. From our perspective this is nusiance security. I was joking about using a web camera to OCR the digits from the key fob so they didn't have to type it in -- mainly so that the scraping/export would be done before anyone arrives in the morning. Well, they asked if I could really do it. So now I ask you, how hard (how many hours) do you think it would take to OCR these digits reliably from a JPEG image produced by the camera? I already know I can get the JPEG easily. I think you get 3 tries to log in, so it really needs to hit a 99% accuracy rate. I could work on this on my off time, but they don't want me to put more than a few hours into it, so I want to leverage as much existing code as possible. This is a 7-segment display (like an alarm clock) so it's not exactly text that an OCR package would be used to seeing. Also--there is a countdown timer on the side of the display; typically when it is down to 1 bar, you wait until the next number appears and it starts over at 5 bars (like signal strength on your cell phone). So this would need to be OCRd as well but it is not text. Anyway the more I think about it as I type this, the less convinced I am that I can truly get this right, so maybe I should just work on it in my spare time?

It gives me a lot of functionality such as formatting, clipboard support, printing etc. The sample also allows for DataGrids to be inserted by using an InlineUiContainer. My problem is that the inserted DataGrid is disabled while my requirement is that the user can edit the contents of the DataGrid. How can I make InlineUiContainers that are inserted in a RichTextBox enabled?

    So I have a nicely working UITableView consisting of 3 rows (each including and image, and a varying number of text fields). Now the 4th row has a UISegmentedControl. As soon as I added it, the UITableView lags/jumps/skips. When I take it away again, everything is smooth. How can I add the UISegmentedControl and still have smooth scrolling?

    Is there any way to Linkify a specific TextView that is contained within a ListView? I tried using android:autoLink="all" but that didn't work. I was getting an out of context error. Important also to note: the ListView is my second view in the ViewFlipper. I have also tried: View mItemView = mAdapter.getView(2, null, null); TextView infoText = (TextView) mItemView.findViewById(R.id.rowText2); Linkify.addLinks(infoText, Linkify.ALL); Right after the adapter was bound to the ListView and the View was switched.     I have a Oracle table whose column is a CLOB datatype. I want to read the content of this table as a text. I tried select dbms_lob.substr( sqltext, 4000, 1 ) from test but this one selects only the first 4000 bytes. How to read the entire content ? there are more than 4000 characters in the sqltext column. Please advise.

    There are several good Javascript editors for Markdown / Textile (e.g.: http://attacklab.net/showdown/, the one I'm using right now), but all I need is a Javascript function that converts a string from Markdown / Textile - HTML and back. What's the best way to do this? (Ideally it would be jQuery-friendly -- e.g., $("#editor").markdown_to_html()) Edit: Another way to put it is that I'm looking for a Javascript implementation of Rails' textilize() and markdown() text helpers

  • JFreeChart - Axis label positioning

    I want the label of one of my axis to be two words, each aligned to the beginning and end of said axis - I've been doing this by inserting spaces in the Axis label, but it's a crappy solution. Is there a way to align label text for a JFreeChart chart? Thanks for any replies!
