    I'm having a table and i have a row which is initially set to the display property of 'none' and i changing it to 'block' at some selection of value from my select box , at that point of time the row is not aligned properly. My two columns are set inside a single column of the above row? but when i change it again to 'none' all the other rows are aligned correctly..

    Using two ScriptManagers(ASP.Net and Telerik) will effect the page performance ? I have both ASP.Net and Telerik Controls on the same page and I'm using both ASP.Net and Telerik Script managers. Can I avoid using one script manager ?     Hi, i'm trying to include a number of images in my SWF file not by loading them but by embedding them in the SWF itself. I found the following instruction to do that: [Embed(source="../graphics/images/ss0.png")] private var SS0:Class; Basically, i want to embed a different number of images each time. Is there a way to do that automatically (let's say inside a for loop) or do i have to type manually this instruction for each image i want to include?

While i was reading the source code of list in linux kernel, i saw something like that: #define LIST_HEAD_INIT(name) { &(name), &(name) } #define LIST_HEAD(name) \ struct list_head name = LIST_HEAD_INIT(name) (You can access the remaining part of the code from here.) I didn't understand the function of ampersands(I don't think they are the address of operands here) in LIST_HEAD_INIT and so the use of LIST_HEAD_INIT in the code. I'd appreciate if someone can enlighten me.

    Hello all, I have a JavaScript variable that I echo out using PHP which is shown like this in the page source: var db_1 = 'C:\this\path'; When I set the value of a text field with that variable like so: $('#myinput').val(db_1); The slashes have disappeared and only the other characters are left!   • Why do toast notifications die if delayed?

    I'm not sure this is the exact cause of my problem but I'll explain the 2 symptoms I noticed: If I put a break point on a Toast.makeText(..).show(), step over, then wait a few seconds before running, the toast will never appear. I have a location callback that tries to show a toast, but it never appears. Maybe I'm doing something else wrong, this is the line in question in my open source distress signal app. Any help or pointers would be appreciated, --uber

    My problem is that I have a method that can take a collection as parameter that, Has a Count property Has an integer indexer (get-only) And I don't know what type should this parameter be. I would choose IList<T> before .NET 4.5 since there is no other indexable collection interface for this and arrays implement it, which is a big plus. But .NET 4.5 introduces the new IReadOnlyList<T> interface and I want my method to support that, too. How can I write this method to support both IList<T> and IReadOnlyList<T> without violating the basic principles like DRY? Can I convert IList<T> to IReadOnlyList<T> somehow in an overload? What is the way to go here?     here's my problem: I have multiple classes that are part of the same package and they need access to a certain file path String filePath = "D:/Users/Mine/School/Java/CZ2002_Assignment/src/" Rather than declaring the same Filepath in every single class, is it possible to simply have a "global" type of variable of this FilePath so that all classes can access it and I only need to declare and update it once.   • How do I correlate build configurations in dependant vcproj files with different names?

    I have a solution file that requires a third party library (open source). The containing solution uses the typical configuration names of "Debug" and "release". The 3rd party one has debug and release configs for both DLL and static libs - their names are not "Debug" and "Release". How do I tell the solution to build the dependency first and how do I correlate which config to the dependant config? i.e. MyProject:Debug should build either 3rdParty:debug_shared or 3rdParty:debug_static
